A/N: Did you read Chapter 18? This is a double update!

19

The sky was overcast and rain pattered down outside the window. It was rare for rain to fall in Winter, but of course it would choose the day that Niel was supposed to meet his blind date. He still wasn't convinced this was the best idea. His idea had been better, going to Shinhwa every spare moment to find the guy he had kissed. Too bad Chanhee and Byunghun were being annoying about it.

Niel watched the rain form puddles on the road, hypnotising ripples playing over their surfaces as more rain fell. He didn't want to go tonight. He wanted to stay home and watch TV. He wanted to sort his socks. He wanted to do literally anything other than go on a date with a man that wasn't the certain person he was searching for.

But Byunghun had been so excited and helpful. Chanhee was right, he was being supportive. So Niel would go. Reluctantly.

--------------------------------------------

Changhyun snuggled into his doona, it was a rainy winter day; perfect for sleeping in. All he needed now was Jonghyun here with him. He grabbed his phone from the bedside table and called him instead.

“Hello sweetie.” Jonghyun answered his call.

“Hello. It’s rainy and cold today.” Changhyun said cutely.

“It is. I hate the rain.”

“You moved to the wrong city.” Changhyun told him with a smile, “Are you coming over? It’s cuddle weather.”

“I’m just on my way now, baby. Did you want me to get you some food?” Jonghyun asked. He was just so sweet. Changhyun’s heart melted.

“Yes please. Soup.” Changhyun requested, child-like.

“You got it. I’ll see you soon.” Jonghyun’s voice was warm and sweet through the phone. Changhyun’s stomach tingled.

“I love you.”

“I love you too. I’m hanging up.” Jonghyun said and the call disconnected.

------------------------------------

Byunghun stared vacantly out the window, watching the winter rain fall. He hoped it would ease up before Niel's date that night. Despite the younger being reluctant Byunghun had a good feeling about this. From what Jonghyun had told him his hyung was in need of a friendly distraction too. The pair would be perfect for each other. They could both learn to get on with their lives.

---------------------------------------

Jonghyun pulled up his hood as he stepped back out into the weather. Rain. He hated rain, it ruined his hair. Hopefully it would clear out before the evening. Minsu needed everything to go well on this date. Without a win, he would slip further into his depressive funk about not finding his mystery man. Jonghyun was beginning to worry about him.

As he was contemplating anything else that could be done for his hyung, his phone rang. With a small smile, he answered it. Changhyun’s cute voice distracting him from his worries instantly.

-----------------------------------

Chanhee woke alone in the bed. He cast around for Byunghun, scared that he had disappeared. He found his lover standing at the window watching the rain. He was and seemed to be lost in thought. Chanhee smiled and sat up. Taking the doona with him he shuffled over to Byunghun, wrapping his arms around his waist from behind and resting his chin on the slim shoulder. He enveloped Byunghun in the fluffy blanket too.

“Hey. Whatcha thinkin’?” Chanhee asked, yawning widely and then placing a kiss on Byunghun’s neck.

“Rainy.” Byunghun mumbled.

“Mm. Bed weather.” Chanhee kissed his neck again.

Byunghun chuckled, turning to face Chanhee. Chanhee kissed his lips instead.

“Also, do I need to remind you that we have neighbours across the street and you aren’t wearing any pants?” Chanhee mumbled.

“Well it’s a good thing you brought me a blanket.” Byunghun shrugged, turning back to the weather outside.

They stayed that way for a while, simply watching the rain fall and enjoying one another’s warmth.

“Do you think I did the right thing?” Byunghun asked in a hushed tone. Chanhee knew he was talking about Niel’s impending date.

“I think you did.” Chanhee nodded, “He’ll be ok.”

“He says this other guy is The One. Do you think I’m…” Byunghun sighed, “Do you think I’m a bad person for not believing him?”

Chanhee chuckled.

“No. And if this guy is The One, then this whole thing won’t work out. And if he isn’t then we helped our little brother find himself a little more. You did good Byung, don’t worry.” Chanhee rocked them side to side a little.

“I hope so.” Byunghun sighed, turning to hide his face in Chanhee’s neck.

--------------------------------

Minsu yelled fish prices and scanned the market, people in clear plastic ponchos moved through slowly, rustling loudly as they walked. The sound of the rain on the corrugated iron roof and echoes of hawking and haggling made the whole shed vibrate. He didn’t usually work Saturdays but Sinfungh had called him in; the old man’s wife was sick and their son was caught up on the mainland. Minsu couldn’t leave the stall closed for a day.

Rain was a prefect reflection of how Minsu felt about this blind date. Miserable and cold. He didn't want a blind date, he didn't want a regular date, he wanted to find the man that had driven him crazy! He wanted to find the slim, delicate man and pull him close. He wanted to hold him against his chest and hide from the rest of the world. The weight of this desperation and sadness was wearing on him. He just needed to find his other half. He knew he was close. He was out there and was searching for him too. Minsu was sure of it.

He would go to meet this date, tell him he was sorry and that he wasn't actually looking to date anyone. Jonghyun would be satisfied that he went and Minsu could return to his search.

----------------------------------

The rain had petered out around sundown, leaving the pavement damp for the rest of the evening. Niel stood idly against the shop wall, standing under the streetlight and waiting. His date was meeting him here near the cafe and they would continue on to dinner or wherever they were going.

He waited. Occasional people passing by. The wet weather had turned the city cold and most people were home with their loved ones. Niel sighed and checked his phone. He was early.

-----------------------------

Changhyun pressed his nose into Jonghyun’s armpit, exhaling in a rush of air. Jonghyun jumped, throwing both of them off the couch a

Chapter 27: WOW! Just wow! It's been so long since I read a great, chaptered Teen Top fic, that I almost forgot that this is what I'm living for ㅋㅋ it's just that people don't seem to write them anymore... which is too sad ㅠㅠ
But it also means that I'm incredibly thankful you wrote this story!! I loved it so so so so much!! I'd even go so far, saying it is the best Teen Top fic I've read in... probably two years. I loved your way of describing the characters and the dynamics of each couple. ChangRick was SO ADORABLE in here~~ and ChunJoe were so bittersweet at first and perfect towards the end ♡ as for N.A.P.... it actually drove me crazy ㅋㅋ the moment Minsoo stood Niel up I was literally screaming at my phone ㅋㅋ but it also turned out to be so cute and fluffy and just the right amount of sap xD
so yeah... thumbs up for this!!! thank you so much for sharing~~ (and please continue writing Teen Top fics!! I sometimes feel like I'm the only person with an ongoing Teen Top fic that nobody even reads... it's sad... we need more Teen Top again~~)

Chapter 27: Do i have one ? Rofl . Byunghun can be hilarious sometimes ! I really liked the staring part and the whole what are you staring at.. Why ..because i like them .
Byunghun blushing and playing with the carpet too . very natural ~ he actually confessed first ! How surprising ! It was funny when chanhee said bec you are my best friend lol i bet Byunghun felt his stomach drop . That aside though , I get why he got angry the first time . i mean .. I may too with chanhee laughing in such situation . but the second time i was like .. does he have split personality ?
What angered him in " you better get used to it "?
The part where chanhee thought the doubts would come back but he'd be there to chase them off was so sweet and perfect as a closure ! Really liked it .
And of course we can't forget niel's part . so enjoyable and so funny * thumbs up *

Chapter 26: your brain is fantastically bad at sticking to one project and mine is that way with procrastination , which explains why I just got to read this NOW . I have no word to describe how fluffy and adorable ( Chanhee calling Byung a marshmallow is seriously the best thing ever ) this was ( realistic too ) Byunghun's thoughts about niel having everything he himself lacks and still being scared , unsure of himself .
it's ironic how someone may seem to lead a happy life when they are in fact being bullied .
I'll see you in about four months when i stop being lazy and finally read the next ch .

Chapter 27: My hearttttt is melting!!! This confession honestly explains so much more why Byunghun was the way that he was throughout the story... his doubts and insecurities. I love how Byunghun was the first to confess and say “I love you” but chanhee was the one to reassure him and really be there to chase Byunghun’s doubts away. Ahhh they’re just perfect for each other <3

Chapter 25: It felt a little sad that it's completed, though I'm really GLAD it is in a way too, haha. Unfinished fanfics are the worst sometimes... anyway, I love the theme of this story and how you wanted to include everyone's point of view. It kept the interest going.

As a suggestion, I'd love to read more about Byunghun and Chanhee's story when they were younger and how their relationship developed (maybe that's what you meant with "Byunghun's confession story"?). Thank you for this lovely story and can't wait to read more from you! <3

Chapter 25: Waah... Such a sweet ,satisfying ending ~
I enjoyed every moment of it !
Happiness was practically radiating from everyone . Minsoo's thoughts were so heartwarming along with Niel's of course whereas Jonghyun and Changhyun were so cute ~
Byunghun and chanhee ... Well the part when bh thought 11 years hadn't changed anything and not an even eternity will . * squeals *
It's awesome how you managed in just 25 chapters to write a story that's not rushed and not slow-paced either . It was perfect .
Thank you for sharing it with us !

Chapter 25: I am so emotional omg I can't believe it's finished ㅜㅜ
The ending is perfect they're all together and happy...
I don't even know where to begin how to describe how much I enjoyed reading this story and just looking forward to the updates every week ahh I'm going to miss it
Thank you for making the ending so wonderful ㅜㅜ
Chanhee & byunghuns long strong relationship... it's like I can feel the love through the screen;; it's just so precious;; I definitely would love to read about byunghun's confession! (oh and if you're taking requests maybe about their first time?? askfkskdk)
Okay and Changhyun and Jonghyun can they be anymore cute?!? Throughout the whole story they were just so into each other and ugh the best. Now they both have rings to propose to each other! I wonder how that'll turn out lol
Niel being so happy for his best friends and minsu being happy for his new younger brothers made me so emotional ㅜㅜ those two are the perfect match and just so attached to each other seeing them so in love is so heartwarming like they finally found the one they've been looking for their whole lives~

Thank you again for writing this wonderful story!
I enjoyed it so much and I'll definitely be coming back to re-read it~!! <3
