Since you left, Johnny hasn’t truly been himself.

The divorce was formally processed and Johnny found himself becoming a bachelor again. Even so, Johnny still wore his wedding ring and he hung yours in a chain around his neck. Being his good friends, Ten and Jaehyun tried their best to brighten up his days and help him move on from you. For Ten, that meant visiting more nightclubs and introducing more girls to Johnny. Having experienced such an exquisite love like yours, none of these girls could hold a candle to you but yet Ten pushed on with his self-proclaimed grand plan of helping Johnny get his heart back. On the other hand, Johnny did not appreciate Ten’s gestures and it often resulted in huge fights. Jaehyun was the only sane one left in the team and his job was to officially keep an eye on both Johnny and Ten to prevent them from killing one another.

Eventually, Johnny just stopped responding to Ten’s requests to bring him out although he still accepted Jaehyun’s gestures of help. Every so often, Jaehyun would call and check up on Johnny or deliver food to his house. At those points in times, Johnny would fake a smile for Jaehyun’s sake but when the door closes, he becomes a different man. To satisfy his sad soul, he would play delightful tones on the piano but before long, they would always turn sombre and when the tears start falling on the black and white keys, his fingers would slip and fall to his side as sobs engulfed him.

But still, life must go on.

Johnny gradually found some semblance of life back. There was still a company for him to run and he couldn’t just neglect it. Now with more time on his hands, Johnny found a new hobby: photography. Looking through the photos he took in Hong Kong with you, he remembered the feeling of the camera in his hands and how right it felt. It was as natural to him as it is to holding your hand. When he felt like he had already captured all of Korea’s landscapes, he began travelling out of the country.

Even as the rest of him moved on to experience what the world has to offer, his heart was still stuck in time. His defiant heart still had a penchant for finding trouble and he would always do exactly the opposite of what anyone else told him to do.

So when you told him not to find you, that was exactly what he did.

Ever since the beginning, he had never stopped searching for you. Wherever he went, he would always search for you.
