Knowing that you're going to meet someone didn't necessarily make the meeting any easier.

You simply nodded your head.

Well, let's just say that you're not someone that would conform easily to another's whims or wishes and your parents had ample reason to worry about the imminent meeting that had to happen.

Again, all you did was simply nod.
