"Tomorrow we'll be meeting them."
You simply nodded your head.
"Please don't make this meeting difficult Lydia."
Well, let's just say that you're not someone that would conform easily to another's whims or wishes and your parents had ample reason to worry about the imminent meeting that had to happen.
Again, all you did was simply nod.
Exasperated that they were only going to get that much of a response of you, your parents simply left your office and a few minutes later, you looked down to observe their sleek silver sedan peel out of the sidewalk down the streets of Seoul.
You didn't even blink an eye.
Instead, you turned back to the work at hand, ignoring the meeting that would take place, whether you liked it or not.

And now you were here, in front of the doors of your office, dreading the meeting. You were supposed to meet your “husband” today but you didn’t feel like the happy bride you were supposed to be.

True enough, he was like what everyone made him out to be, and you detested him already.
His hair was dishevelled, the brown locks that were way too long would have covered his eyes if not for his long slender fingers that were constantly pushing his fringe back. You immediately thought that he required a haircut. He was dressed casually in denim and as you sat directly opposite him, you could smell the strong alcohol that was practically radiating off his body. Of course, you also don't miss the floral scent that could only belong to a lady.
You stared at him, taking in his features. He was definitely handsome, if not more handsome than the times when you have viewed him through enormous TV screens or behind flutes of champagne when you happened to attend the same functions as he did out of necessity.
He was handsome indeed, but not attractive.
