Kibum, Taemin, and Jinki walk up the steps to the library. Kibum and Taemin smile as the steps go higher and higher, while Jinki, now out of his lab coat, clean hair and face, dressed in clean clothes, trails behind them by about five steps. The closer he got to the front door, the slower he walked up the stairs, and the more worried he became. "Come on Jinki, hurry up!" Taemin cheered. Jinki gulped, the thought of going back into that library, started to make his stomach churn. "Actually you guys, I think I'm gunna stay out here" he said, starting to feel relief, knowing he didn't HAVE to go inside. "But you're a scientist! You love reading!" Kibum argued. "Remember that one time back home when yo-" "Yeah, well I'm not in the mood to read tonight. I'm staying out here" Jinki snapped. "Why? Why don't you wanna come in?" Taemin complained. "Okay, I'll confess" Jinki said throwing his arms up, trying to think of a good lie. "That library is haunted, you guys!" he exclaimed. "Good one, Jinki" he thought to himself. "I don't care! Ghosts are so cool! I always wonder about the past anyway. Come on Taemin, let's go. Jinki is obviously growing up" Kibum sneered. Taemin races with Kibum to the door while Jinki sits outside on one step, worried about his friends. "I would give anything for them not to find the book" he swears in his mind. "Oh shut up Lee Jinki! That library is gigantic! Odds are they won't! Stop worrying!" The sky started to get really dark and clouds started to develop. "Looks like it's ready to storm"

"Taemin, look! Here's another!" Kibum exclaimed holding up Harry Potter And Prisoner Of Askaban from the Harry Potter saga. "Kibum hyung, there are seven of those books. Don't get too excited" Taemin sighs. Kibum grows a disappointed expession, then shoots up. "I'll find the others then" Kibum declares with a smile on his face. He then runs off to find the other books, leaving Taemin in a hall of the library all alone. "It's so quiet" he mutters to himself. The air to Taemin started to grow cold. "Was Jinki right? Is this place haunted?" he says to himself. Out of no where, a book from the shelf behind Taemin falls out by itself, scaring him. "KIBUUUUUM!!!" he screeches like a little boy. "WHAT?!?!" Kibum screams from the other side of the library. Only when Taemin listened closely that he realized that him and Kibum were the only ones in the building. Taemin disregards the fact and goes for the mysterious book that fell on its own. He opened the first cover to see Jinki's name written in the corner. "What have you been hiding from us, Lee Jinki?" Taemin says quietly

Jinki, outside the library, pacing, starting to panic. "That's it! I can't take it anymore! I shouldn't have let them in there in the first place! I don't care if that menacing creation is in there! If they find it, I'll never forgive myself!" Jinki says to himself while rushing into the library.

"Kibum hyung! Come over here now! This is truely important!" Taemin yells for the last time to Kibum. "Fine! What is it!?" Kibum yells around the corner, annoyed. Taemin only hands the blank black book to his elder to the page with "Lee Jinki, 1984" written in the corner. "What the--?" Kibum squeaks in confusion. The book had about only 100 pages and they had nothing written in them. Only pages one and two had anything written in them. Kibum read aloud

"Jinki must be pulling a joke on us" Taemin sighs. Kibum looks at the two pages. Then on page three, which was blank. "I don't know" Kibum says intrigued, sitting down next to Taemin. "Is this what Jinki has been so shifty about all day?" he asks. Taemin only shrugs. Kibum smiles

"Let's try it"

Kibum turns to page two, puts one hand on the page and one hand on Taemin's shoulder. Taemin rolls his eyes "This'll never work, dude. We're wasting our time"

"What date?" Kibum asks

"Uhh... November..Ummm. 17th..." Taemin improvises. "Okay, here we go" Kibum says taking in a deep breath

"YOU GUYS! NO! DON'T!" Jinki screams, running towards them, full speed and stops at Kibum, who is totally ignoring him. "Care to join, Jinki?" Kibum asks, not looking behind him to face Jinki. "Who do you think you are, Kim Kibum?? Come on, let's get out of here!" Jinki pleads, grabbing Kibum's arm. But Kibum ignores every word Jinki says.

"November 17th..... 1885" Kibum smiles.

"You guys, I'm not playing. Don't go any farther!" Jinki says sternly, tugging on Kibum's arm. But Kibum pretends he doesn't hear a thing.

"Kim Kibum, Lee Taemin..... Lee Jinki" Kibum says, following the rules of the jinxed book sinisterly. Jinki freezes and starts to turn pale when he watches Kibum turn to page three. Jinki swings his arm back away from Kibum and Taemin. "No.. NO!" Jinki screams. Kibum and Taemin wait for anything to happen, but nothing happened. They wait for a short 10 seconds. "Awwwhhh man! What a rip off!" Taemin complains.

Kibum feels his face burn red with anger. He slams the book shut and turns to Jinki. "Okay! Tell us what that was, Jinki! Are you just trying to pull a trick on us or what? Your behavior today has been really occupying my attention and wasting my time! All for a sick joke? We came all the way from South Korea to America to see you, our friend since we were little kids, a friend that we can trust with anything. We didn't come here to waste our time with pranks. Just tell us the truth. Please! I'm begging you!" Kibum screams all in one breath into Jinki's face. Jinki is cold and stiff, pale in the face and waiting to get sick at the fact that what they did was just going to determine that what they do in the future, will be in the past. "You have no idea what you've just done" Jinki whispers.

Kibum rolls his eyes and drags Taemin out of the library to book their hotel, leaving Jinki to race back home to try and look for a way to reverse their actions regarding the jinxed book. But comes up with nothing. He finally falls asleep at his desk, forgetting that the next time he wakes up, the date will be

November 17th, 1885
