MARK POV

“Are you mad at me?” As we walked along the night street, I asked softly at my younger brother.

Instead of replying me, I heard him sighed before he said softly, “I am not.”

I sighed deep before I stopped walking as I turned to look at the younger, “Bam... I promise you, I won’t give up on my dream. It’s just, for now I need to make decision. I need to prioritize what important for us.” I paused a while before continued on, “And we both know, we can’t rely on the money Dad left for us; we need to earn it ourselves from now on. This is the only way we’ll survive here.”

“I know.” Bam Bam said softly in sadness. “I... I am just a burden to you.”

“Hey!” I started to get angry at the younger words. “Don’t ever say something like that again, you heard me?” I scolded at the younger who seemed feeling sadly guilty. I sighed as I felt guilty in scolding the younger. With no words, I pulled the younger in my embrace. “Just support my decision for now, ok? I’m just doing what I need to do.”

I can feel Bam Bam hugged me back tightly. “I wish I can help you in lighting your weight. I am such useless.”

“Hey, just be my support when I need it, that’s enough for me.” I let go of the younger as I smiled at him. “Like you said, we only have each other from now on. We rely on each other, right? Just be there when I need you, okay?”

“You know I’ll always be right your side, you don’t have to ask anymore.” Bam Bam smiled back at me.

“I know you will.” Seeing the sincere smile on the younger really lifted up the sadness in my heart.

“But Mark, I want you to promise me something.” Suddenly Bam Bam looked at me seriously.

“What is it?” I asked the younger.

“Promise me you won’t ever give up on photography. Promise me, once we’re steady enough, you will find way to go back to study your photography.” I noticed the seriousness in the younger eyes.

I smiled as I nodded my head. “I promise you, Bam. And you promise me too, we’ll fight for our dreams together, ok?”

“Promise.” Bam Bam offered me his pinky finger. I chuckled as I circled my pinky finger against his.

BAM BAM POV

“Should we go back home?” I heard Mark asked me.

“Can we walk for a while more? Ever since we came to Korea, we haven’t really spent time together, you know.” I protested. That’s right; back in LA, Mark and I used to spent a night out together at least once in two weeks; sometimes we sneaked out at night to have supper together or even just for a ride around the city. It’s something I have always loves to do with my older brother.

I heard Mark laughed softly before he rested his arm around my shoulder, “Why don’t we go Hangang River? Let’s enjoy the night out.”

I widened my eyes in surprise, “Really? But do you know how are we going to get there?” I asked confusedly at the older.

Instead of replying me, he laughed, “No, but we’ll find our way. Come on.”

Again, I widened my eyes of shock. “Are you serious? What if we get lost?” Mark couldn’t be serious, could he?

“Hey, don’t you believe in me? Come on, Bam. Where’s your adventurous spirit?” I heard Mark teased me.

I rolled my eyes at the older as I replied, “You always know how to push my button, Markie Pooh!” I stuck out my tongue at the older as I ran away before the older got to hit me.

“HEY! Stop calling me that, BAMBUNNY!” I heard Mark teased me back as he ran after me.

“I am not BAMBUNNY!” I yelled back at the older.
