The reception (or rather, the wedding party, in Joy's opinion) was held in a traditional castle which houses a splendid hall suitable for a wedding celebration. The castle originally belonged to the local royalty but has long been opened for public use and converted into rooms suitable for entertaining guests. Along with the gigantic hall, other equally lovely rooms were available for their use for the whole three days that they have booked.

The small little details of the final preparations kept Joy busy. She was grateful for the distraction, it gave her leave from thinking about the day before. She was up all night, tossing and turning in bed, unable to sleep because she kept thinking about the repercussion of their kiss. And the feel of his lips on hers. Okay, maybe she spent most of the night thinking about his lips which caused her heart to go into overdrive, making it even more impossible for her to fall asleep.

And today, she tried her best to avoid him, barely staying for five minutes in the same room with him before excusing herself with some odd tasks, which for once, she was extremely thankful to Wendy for giving her a long to-do list. However, she could not help herself from stealing glances at him. One time, he caught her peeking at him and she could feel her cheeks warmed up instantly before she quickly went somewhere else to calm herself down. 

As the day went on, she managed to keep herself under control. 'Everything's going to be ok,' she had thought to herself. She was so sure of herself that she even managed to smile at him when they passed by each other. She thought everything was going about smoothly which was why she was caught by surprise when he suddenly grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him to give her a quick hug before releasing her and continuing on his way, leaving her frozen in place. She whirled around to watch him walk away as if nothing out of ordinary had just happened. 

He continued to mess with her heart after that. Throughout the day, his little flirtatious actions made her to be aware of him and his eyes on her all day, which was one of the reason why she felt fidgety most of the time. It was up to the point that Wendy and Irene called her out for not focusing on the tasks at hand as she was too busy being distracted. 

One time, just after lunch, she was discussing about the seating arrangement with one of the workers, her half eaten plate of red velvet cake (her favourite) still in hand, she felt a presence behind her. She turned to see him, just standing close behind her, his body almost touching her back, apparently listening to the lady's explanation. Afterwards, when she tried to move, he grabbed her wrist to stop her before finally looking at her. He smirked. He must have known that she was feeling disturbed by his proximity.
