When the whip hits Yoongi's back and his white shirt stains in red, Jimin can't feel his face anymore.    "YOONGI!!"   He roars as he runs forward and grabs the police's wrist, stopping the whip mid-air.    "Stop! Can't you see you're hurting him?"   "A friend of a thief is no different from the thief." The policeman spits out angrily. "Your friend interferes on his own. He deserves the punishment."   "On what crime? Having sympathy toward a poor boy?!"   "That boy is a thief!" Someone yells from the crowd. Jimin's vein almost explodes. The anger in his chest can make him a murderer.   "Then take him to court! Why did you hit him like some kind of primitive cavemen?"   The policeman grumbles and yanks his hand free. "You back away or else I'll whip you too."   "You touch me and see what happen."   "Break away!" Someone yells. Soon, two more policemen come through the crowd. They look at the scene a bit then turn to the first policeman. "Take him to the station."   The policeman pushes Yoongi away and gets to the boy. He's unconscious and his back is bleeding painfully. Yoongi wants to follow them but Jimin holds him down.    "Why did you do that?!" Jimin yells. Taehyung is still shocked and he cannot produce any sound. His face pale as he kneels down besides Yoongi, hesitates whether or not he should reach for the wound.    "They were hurting him." Yoongi murmurs.   "You could have just said something! You didn't have to throw your body in front of danger like that!"   "But you told me not to ask you to help anyone again."   "Oh, Yoongi!!" Jimin stands up, his face red. "You can't do this! You can't… after all I've risked my life for you, you can't blindly rush into danger like this. You are not invincible!"   "But the boy-"   "Enough about the boy! It is his life, he has to deal with it! He's a thief."   "Peach-head, I can't ignore this."   Jimin glares at him. This again. This topic. Does Yoongi has to be a hero whereever he goes? What is it with this family and their selflessness?   Jimin tries to speak in a calmer tone, "When I told you this world is complicated, this is one of the reasons. This is reality, Yoongi. You can't change it." He hopes Yoongi would understand. But his hope fails and Yoongi keeps insisting.   "I will try anyway. Starting with this boy. I will not let those people take him back."   "Yoongi, stop!"   But Yoongi doesn't stop. He keeps walking, and walking, even though the wounds on his back hurt like hell, he keeps going until he gets to the police station. He cannot figure out how he even finds the place.    Jimin grips the bus tickets tightly as he says to Taehyung, "I know you're going to follow him so tell him this. I'm not going to miss this bus."   -   Taehyung takes a while to find the police station. When he gets there, Yoongi is already arguing with the policeman.    "You're trying to tell me how to do my job, kid?" The policeman's face is red and it seems as though Yoongi manages to get himself deeper into the problem.   Taehyung stays a step away from them and keep his silence.    "You caused bodily harm to the boy in a public area. I believe you violated his right as a human being. This is not the medieval period where slaves were treated with violence. On that note, the boy is not a slave. I believe slavery no longer exists." Yoongi points inside. "Let him out and have his wound treated properly. He is hurt."   The policeman scoffs. His anger seems to have increased tremendously, and he raises his hand to hit Yoongi. But Taehyung, on a whim, jumps in front of Yoongi and stops the police before he can touch Yoongi.    "Don't touch him," Taehyung says in a low voice. "Don't you dare."   "Laying a hand on the police?"   "This is self-defense."   "You're saying I'm laying a hand on you? What are you going to do about it? Lock me up?"   "That's a good idea," Jimin's voice can be heard before he even appears. His arrival allows both Yoongi and Taehyung to take a breath of relief.
