ChaeYong observes everyone's expression and soon comes to realize. They aren't taking the news of her bloodline very well. She hands her mug to Jimin and hurries off to the kitchen. A minute later, she comes back with a glass of cold water.    "Here you go. I'm sorry, where was my manner." She hands the glass to Yoongi, who accepts it out of reflect. Yoongi stares at the glass, and then at the girl.    "Did you have breakfast?" She continues to ask Yoongi, completely ignoring Jimin on the side. "I can fix something. Do you like bacon and eggs? Although I'm not sure we still have eggs left." She turns to Hoseok, her ponytail hair flips beautifully. "Do we still have some eggs left, brother? Or some butter? I can make toast."   "We do. Both of those."   "That's wonderful!" Chae turns back to Yoongi. "Would you like some toast with bacon and eggs?"   Yoongi turns to Jimin, and Chae follows. Only then that she remembers there's also another half-brother standing around. She chuckles.    "Oh, I'm so sorry. You too, brother. Welcome to join us."   Jimin gives her a look. She doesn't seem harmful. She seems like an average teenage sister who is excited to be reunited with her family again. Jimin nods.    "Sure, I love me some good toast."   "Jimin!"   "Yoongi, too." Jimin answers for him. Chae claps once and excitingly strides back to the kitchen. Hoseok has a suppressed smile on his lips as he motions them to follow him once more.    "What was that?" Yoongi hisses.    Jimin shrugs. "There's always time to suspect her later."   "But you are already accepting her food? That's crossing the line! What if she poisoned us?"   "Why would she do that?" Hoseok asks without turning around. "She has waited to meet you for many years."   "Me?" Yoongi points at himself. Hoseok peers over his shoulder, and then shrugs. "Don't you mean Jimin too?"   "Jimin?"   "You know," Yoongi glances at Jimin before he turns to Hoseok. "That boy with strange ever-changing hair colors, with big thighs and nice lips?"   "You think my lips are nice?" Jimin asks, to which Yoongi ignores.    Hoseok stops at the door and lets the two past through. "Yeah, I know that guy." He says. "He thinks you think his lips are nice."   "You stop that." Yoongi warns both of them before they take this teasing too far and he melts because Jimin's lips really are nice.    Inside the kitchen, Yoongi is greeted with an almost mundane environment. The walls are covered in dark stain from all the cooking fire and smoke, and the pots are hanging around everywhere, the silverware are mismatch and the table barely set properly. The girl—Chaeyong—is measuring the fire so that whatever she's cooking isn't going to burn. Something aches in Yoongi's chest. This girl is supposed to be a princess; this place is supposed to be the heaven on earth for her. But this palace is sadder than a commoner's house.   "You need help?" Hoseok asks her. She shakes her head lightly as she continues poking and flipping her food. Soon, she turns around and shows the boys her perfectly cooked egg and bacons. Hoseok smiles in approval whereas Yoongi can't help but frown. He turns to Jimin, and only then that he notices the glimpse in Jimin's eyes. What is that about? Sympathy? Sadness? Or perhaps, protectiveness? He looks like he wants to do all the work in the world for her if only she says the word.    That's not good, something tells Yoongi. This can't be happening too. First his mother and now their half-sister?    "I can help," Yoongi says, which only to get quickly interrupted by Jimin.    "I'll do the rest. You sit down, Chae." He takes the pan from her and pushes her gently down into the chair. Chaeyong gives him a quick look in her eyes before she turns to Yoongi.    "Please seat, too. I have so much to tell you about. Where should we start?" She turns to Hoseok. "I honestly don't know, there is just so much to share. Okay, alright. Do you know that during the great drought, Mother had…"   -   They eat their breakfast listening to Chaeyong recalling a lot of stories, incidents, moments that both Jimin and Yoongi could have been a part of if their lives had happened differently. Yoongi weren't upset that he lives the way he is now, because only for that reason that he and Jimin are the way they are too—they aren't related by blood, first of all. And secondly, they aren't related by any family marriage either. Their parents—Jimin's father and Yoongi's mom—had never gotten married. From what Hoseok says, and what Yoongi
