Chapter 12

[I added more scene to this chapter to make it longer, for those who have read the ends of this chapter yesterday and today[before I add the scene] please proceed to the end of it. It start "With a smirk...."] 

Since their flight to Jeju only took an hour and more, Hyekyo didn’t sleep as she’s afraid it will be really hard for her to wake up. Joong Ki on the other hand is typing his work on his laptop. They both were basically doing their own things until the stewardess came to them and serve some snack since food is too heavy for only hours of flight.

“Coffee or Juice?” She asked politely to Joong Ki. The stewardess is lying if she said Joong Ki didn’t appeal her. The stewardess purposely walk closer to Joong Ki but instead he lifted his eyes; ignoring the stewardess’ stare and turn to look at Hyekyo. She’s currently focusing on her phone which Joong Ki finds it really adorable. He leans in to her ear before whispering “What do you want to drink?”

They were so close that some people would misunderstand them kissing but it turned he’s actually just whispering. Hyekyo got goose bumps and hairs on her neck rose up immediately. She tried to calm her beating heart since Joong Ki so closed to her and he didn’t even move. At least just give her a space to answer.

Hyekyo’s jasmine’s smells tickled Joong Ki’s nose as he feels like he don’t wanna move away from that position. Jasmine scents are one of Joong Ki’s favourites.

Keeping her eyes on her phone, she answered “Juice please” Joong Ki nods his head and turned to look at the stewardess that’s been looking at the both of them jealously. “My girlfriend wants Juice, and I want it as well”

Hearing the words girlfriend came out from Joong Ki’s mouth makes Hyekyo’s felt butterflies flying around her stomach. This is something that she didn’t like to feel since it makes you want to poop. “Okay, anything else sir?”

“Nope, that’s it”

As the stewardess walked away from both of them, Joong Ki turned to look at Hyekyo while smiling. She lifted her eyes from her phone as she noticed Joong Ki’s looking at her from the corner of her eyes. “What do you want?”

“Aren’t you going to ask me why I called you my girlfriend?”

“I am obviously your girl friend, why would I ask you that?” What Hyekyo is saying right now it what she have been repeating in her heart. She’s trying to assure herself that he’s just only friend to him, but the girl one. Joong Ki’s glad that Hyekyo didn’t take it in a way that he would imagine she would, and that’s what makes Hyekyo quite a different girl from the others. But some part of him just wished that she would take them as the way he imagine it.

He leaned in once again to her ears and smile when he feels Hyekyo tensed. “You smell like my mother…” He backed away and closed his eyes with his sleeves. “…and I like that”

After they landed safely on Jeju’s airport, they make their way to outside. As they stepped out from the security zone, he saw a signboard and on that signboard it’s written his name on it. Hyekyo on the other side is trying to fix her bag since it’s uncomfortable to carry it like normal but then Joong Ki went over to her and lifted her backpack leaving on her only with her luggage. She stopped for a while as she stared at Joong Ki’s back. He’s holding her backpack on his left hand, right hand rolling his own luggage. He even carries his own backpack on his back. Hyekyo couldn’t help but to smile at how kind Joong Ki is.

Both of them arrived at Frank’s hotel after a short drive. The driver that picked them up was so nice. They chit chat a lot and sometimes Joong Ki would glance at Hyekyo to see what she’s doing which she only smiled at his funny remarks while her hand is holding her phone.

“Welcome Joong Ki! It’s good to have you here” Frank greeted happily before patting his back. His smile soon getting wider as he saw Hyekyo standing behind Joong Ki while looking around awkwardly.

“Who’s that pretty lady, Joong Ki?”

“She’s my friend”

“Oh the one that you’ve told me before?” He asked as he examined Hyekyo from head to toe which makes her feels uncomfortable. “She’s quiet pretty” He whispered earning chuckles from Joong Ki. Hyekyo can’t help but to feel humiliate. Why do they laugh after Frank looked at her from head to toe?

“Is it okay for you guys to share the room? Or should I book another room?” Hyekyo, in instant, shook her head while waving her hands infront of Frank. “It’s okay, we can share the room” She said, although she didn’t want to share it, Hyekyo can’t be a burden to him. She came here for nothing so she shouldn’t ask for more. Plus, what’s worse rooming up with Joong Ki? Hyekyo trusted him that he would do nothing bad to her. He’s an educated man for god sake.

“Okay, this is your key. I’m sorry I couldn’t fetch you guys up there my wife is waiting for me at the airport.” As he said that, Joong Ki smiled before taking the key. “It’s okay Frank, we understand. See you at the ceremony party tonight”

As they went into the lift, Hyekyo couldn’t help but to stared at the marble floor. It is so pretty and fascinating. Then, Joong Ki’s feet came in her vision making her look up to him. “Do you admire me that much that you wanted to share the room with me?” He teased making Hyekyo sneered in return. “Please, it is so rare for the artist wanting to room up with her fans.” She replied sarcastically.

“So are you saying that you’re the artist here?”

“Is it not obvious?” She asked back then Joong Ki smiled before patting her head. “Okay, I’ll be your forever fans”

“See, you can’t beat me”

Joong Ki just smiled while looking at her. He somehow wants to win over their little sarcasm argument but he decided he should just let her win since she’s so cute. Joong Ki thinks her charm somehow would be very useful if she want to argue somethi
