S A V E D

"Huh?" I felt my fingers start to shake and I stood up, making my chair fall backward.

"Don't you remember me?" he asked.

"Y-Yeah I do," I replied.

"You are my lifesaver," he walked closer to me causing me to take a step backward. He looked shocked at first, seeing this and then he looked sad.

"What happened to you? You just appeared out of thin air," I said.

Suddenly the doors opened and laughter poured into the room. I turned to see the boys walking in and looking at me.

"Maknae, what happened? You look like you saw a ghost," Seokjin said.

I turned to the mysterious boy in the room. He watched as the other 6 guys laughed and tackled each other. His eyes turned sad, really sad and I saw a few tears leave his eyes before he looked into my eyes.

Bye.

Before I knew it, he had faded into thin air again.

I stared at the others, did they not see him?

"Dude," Taehyung poked me, "you okay?"

I shook my head, "I'm fine," I smiled and sat at the table again.

[Words in italics is the other person's (the man she saw) voice in Tae Hee's head]

No you're not.

A voice in my head said. The voice belonged to a man, someone I recognised. How was his voice in my head?

I know it's SO cool isn't it? I can talk to you like this.

His voice suddenly sounded super excited. I laughed to myself, earning myself the confused looks of the others.

"You sure you're okay?" Jimin asked.

"I'm fine hyung," I nodded and looked to the floor.

You call them hyung? That's weird.

"Maknae-yah, we got the results from the vic's post-mortem, it was poison," Hoseok said.

Told you.

"Any chance the vic absorbed the poison through her scalp?" I asked.

"Girl, you are on it!" Hoseok said.

"Huh?" I asked.

"We checked the log book that Taehyung got after talking to that receptionist, the only item logged out but not here, is her hair dye," Jimin said.

"So someone put poison in her True To Colour Blonde?" I asked.

"It seems that way, yes," Seokjin said.

Asa!

"Seokjin hyung what did you guys find at the roommate's place?" I asked.

"Oh! Yes! I can't believe I forgot to tell you Maknae," he said. Why do they not call me by my name? Geez.

At least they call you maknae now. I miss that.

"What?" I asked them, trying to ignore the voice in my head.

"The roommate wasn't home, but we searched his place, and guess what we found in the basement?"

"What?" I asked. 

"Or rather, who we found," Yoongi said.

"Wait... no way," I said, "so that dead veteran is actually alive?"

"Yes, and he tried to run," Seokjin laughed, "to no avail."

"So where is he?"

"He's in the interrogation room downstairs," Jimin said.

"Has he said anything, as to why his hair was on the vic?"

Seokjin cracked a small smile, "They were in love."

"Huh?"

"Min Ha Ri and he were in love."

"He didn't kill her?"

Hoseok shook his head, "he was most likely the one that tried CPR."

"Well, the question still remains, who killed her then?"

"Wait, first Hoseok hyung," Jimin said, walking up to him.

"Yeah?"

"Is there any chance the vic was pregnant? Even if the autopsy didn't catch it?"

"No," he shook his head, "I examined her body three times. Her pH levels were way too low."

"Then who's was it?" Jimin asked me.

"I guess we'll have to get the pregnancy test, tested," I said and grabbed my phone, putting it into my pocket. "Let's go get it," I said to him.

"Already a step ahead of you," Taehyung appeared in front of me, holding a clear plastic bag with the pregnancy test in it.

"How did you get that?"

"Before we left I searched the room again and thought I might take this in case of emergency, and I was right!" he fist punched the air.

"Okay," Namjoon laughed and grabbed the bag from him. "I'll let you guys know."

"I wanna go and talk to this dead vet," I said, walking to the elevator.

"I'll come with!" Hoseok rushed to my side and Seokjin also joined us, without saying anything.

"How's your first day going?" Hoseok asked me as we walked out of the elevator.

"Good, I already love it here," I laughed.

"That's good, I love it here as well," Hoseok said.

We reached the interrogation room with 'Special Crimes' on the door. Seokjin opened the door to see Daniel Choi sitting in a lonely chair in the middle of the room.

I walked in with Hoseok and they closed the door.

"Oh hello," he said, eyeing me up and down.

"Mr Choi," I said, walking closer to him, "Did you kill Min Ha Ri?"

"No," he frowned.

"Then who did?" I asked.

"I don't know," he answered.

He's lying.

There's that voice in my head again.

Ask again, he's lying.

"Who killed her?" I asked again.

"I don't know!"

Liar.

"Really? Because I have a feeling you do know," I said and walked closer to him.

"Yah. Maknae-yah," Hoseok said behind me.

"Hyung, he's lying," I said to him.

"You sure?" Hoseok asked, raising an eyebrow at me.
