I'm so curious - Jonghyun

“Sodam what just happened…'' What was the right thing to say?! What could he say without it sounding like a lie or an excuse to hide what he felt. “I don't want you to think that I see you as easy or…”

She grunted unladylike against him and he peeked at her cupping her face to him.

She blinked her eyes slowly and smiled.

“Minho can you take me home, please? I’m feeling very tired.”

He opened and closed his mouth a few more times and then nodded.

As if on autopilot, he guided her back to his car and drove her back home. She didn't fall asleep in the car even though she had said she was tired but didn't say any word too and he was too busy trying not to think to speak too.

He parked in front of her house and opened the door for her, reminding himself that that house was also Jonghyun’s and he was probably inside. If he found out about what happened he wouldn't be happy.

She reached out to enter her code on the door but Minho stopped her.

“About what happened before…”

Sodam turned around to face him with an odd expression and he his lips which was a big mistake because her eyes intensely stared at them which didn't help him at all in his vain attempt to control his feelings.

“...what happened I know it was because you aren't sober and you can't control your actions, but it's alright, I'll pretend that nothing happened.”

She sighed deeply, his words seeming to bother her, and while he took his time trying to decide on what was the wisest thing to do next she did the unthinkable and kissed him again, right in front of the door of Jonghyun’s house. Minho pulled away stepping back horrified, his eyes moving from her to the door as if he expected Jonghyun to come crashing outside punching him to oblivion.

Sodam followed his gaze slowly, the alcohol making her less focused. “You are that scared of my brother?” She giggled, looking adorable - a cute drunk mess. She stepped closer to him and Minho immediately covered his lips with one hand, his eyes growing in size. He wasn't sure if he was more afraid of Jonghyun or his sister.

“You are so cute. I'm not sure why it took me so long to notice that.”

“A-alright….You should go inside!” Minho pointed at the door behind her praying that she would stop that madness. Now he was sure she was doing it not out of affection but because it was fun to . That realization was pricking at his heart but it was better that way. Sodam and Minho was a deadly combination for him and SHINee because he was sure that by losing the friendship of Jonghyun nothing would be the same inside their team.

SHINee was a part of him and he couldn't see himself without his second family. Every day he felt blessed that he had been chosen to be a part of their team and even though it would be a cruel reality for him he had to forget her.

“You think that just because I'm drunk I’m stupid!” She angrily said stubbornly refusing to enter. “You think I'm blind? I can see you perfectly well and those lips...”

Her speech was interrupted by the door opening, a sleepy Jonghyun wearing track pants and a black tank top stared at them not impressed.

“Are you drunk?” he asked trying to reach out for his sister but she jumped back bumping into Minho who steadied her for one second before releasing her as if she was burning him. Jonghyun didn't seem to notice and kept questioning her. “What the hell Sodam, why are you dressed like that and with Minho…” his gaze moved quickly to Minho that quickly shook his hands.

“Ah no, no! I was out with friends clubbing and saw her. She was drunk so I brought her home.”

“You did well, thank you!” Jonghyun wrapped his arm around her shoulders and she tried to push him away.

“I’m your older sister! You need to let me be!”

“Yeah, I do…” Jonghyun answered trying to calm her down so she wouldn't wake up the neighbors. “I'll take it from here Minho, thank you, and I'm sorry you had to see this mess of a woman!”

“Oh no, it's fine. I mean it happens…”

Jonghyun shook his head and pushed his sister with him inside. While he helped her take off her shoes Sodam looked up at Minho and he couldn't help but look back.

He wasn't sure what she was thinking but he planned to forget that night ever happened.

When the door closed Minho trailed back to his car, his heart feeling heavier with each step.

He wanted to let her go - no! You can't let go of someone that was never yours, to begin with. He had to let go of his feelings and yet he was tired of doing that. What happened with Eun Ha had scarred his heart and it took him a long time to forget her. He even hurt others in the process and now he had to once again forget. The difference was that he had gone after Eun Ha that was also a forbidden love and he had given everything for that love. And now he was giving up before even trying. He wasn't that person. Choi Minho never gave up.

He placed a hand on the door of his car and his eyes fell to the ground.

He had to but he wasn't sure he could do that alone, without voicing out his feelings out loud to someone else.

He could tell Taemin but he wasn't the quietest one about secrets. It wasn't his fault, he simply was too reckless. He could also talk with Kibum, he and Jonghyun were often the ones he went to for advice. He couldn't confide in Jonghyun for obvious reasons and he was sure Kibum would scold him for once again falling for someone he couldn't have.

Jinki.

He was the only one he could talk with that would listen and make no judgment.

Jules had spent her evening with some of her close foreigner friends, most of them french. Of course, one of the topics was their love life. And once again Jules had to be invasive about hers. For a long time, she had lied and said she was single, but lately, she had said her boyfriend was shy and traveled a lot and therefore it was hard to introduce him. But her friends weren't stupid and started demanding pictures. It could have been easy to open naver and show them a picture of Kibum but she wasn't that crazy. She was sure they were suspicious, one of them even joked that she couldn't reveal who her boyfriend was because he was a famous actor. So close.

If she didn't have Lillie and the other girls she would have felt lonely, unable to speak of the man she loved to anyone.

That night she did feel lonely though. Lillie was spending some days with Jinki at his place and she was alone at the apartment, besides that was also the night when one of her friends decided to announce that she was getting married.

Jules wasn't the type of girl that dreamed all her life to get married but she did dream of it when she was little and even though she always had thought that she didn't need those things, lately she was starting to think that maybe it was time to do them. The problem was that Kibum wouldn't get married soon, maybe not even ever. They haven't touched on the topic of marriage yet. Yes, he did give her a couple ring but that was something often done in South Korea and didn't mean that you would be together forever or that there was an intention to marry.

She wasn't stupid and she wasn't going to demand something like that from him. That would be the end of their relationship that truly wasn't the best lately. She complained that it was boring, stagnated, he had tried to make things more fun and it worked for a few months. Then he started having less and less time for her and she felt like the supporting character in that story. Worse she started having less time to be with him too. They talked about it and accepted it as what it was yet she couldn't help but feel lonely. When she was dating Minjae she would meet him almost daily, sadly he was a cheating lowlife and nothing like Kibum.

You can't have everything.

She took off her clothes in the silence of her bedroom all the time eyeing her phone that was laying beside Bummie that was curled like a ball of fur. He had grown so much the past months, going from a small mischievous little thing to a sweet and yet sometimes naughty young cat.

“Ah screw it!” Jules grabbed her phone and texted Kibum. She wasn't the kind to do spontaneous things like that but maybe that was part of the person she became after meeting Kibum. Love does change you. Lillie was the living example of it, everyday she surprised Jules. She had gone from a scared shy woman to someone willing to do anything to be happy, even going out of her comfort zone.

Jules's comfort zone was not showing what she felt but she was tired of that. It didn't work with Kibum. He didn't like manipulation or lies, he hated the pull and push. He liked honesty.

“You are probably sleeping right now but I just want to tell you that I’m home and goodnight. I love you. I know it's cringy!”

It was cringy, the need couples had to say I love you several times a day. Lillie was like that a lot more often now. Sometimes she would hear her say cringy things like that on the phone to Jinki and often she looked pleased after them. Maybe she would feel better too.

Jules sent the message and placed her phone back in the bed already regretting the part where she pointed out how cringy it was. She went to take a shower not expecting an answer that night yet when she came out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel she had a text from Kibum.

“It's daddy!” She explained happily to Bummie.

“That's not corny. This is!”

He answered and under it was a picture of Kibum blinking one eye and sending her a kiss.

Jules snorted staring at that funny attempt for aegyo. Kibum was used to that kind of fanservice and yet that context was different, therefore she was sure he was a little embarrassed after sending the picture.

“Don't show it to anyone.”

He added and she gasped realizing that he was still online.

“I won't. It's mine.”

“Good…”

She waited for him to write more biting her lower lip. She remembered how she pushed Lillie to say those words to Jinki first because she would know if he felt the same if he said them back. Now it sounded ridiculous to her that she had given such a piece of advice and even more ridiculous how she also waited for the same to happen at that moment.

“Sleep well. I love you too.”

They were only words but she genuinely felt them, she could even read them in his voice because it wasn't the first time he said them to her and she knew they were real.

It was stupid and yet she felt immediately better. She was lonely, inside an empty apartment but she wasn't truly alone if someone else was thinking of her too.

Jules sat on the bed and pulled Bummie to her lap.

“Maybe I won't ever have the wedding, or maybe I will and it will take a long time but I have this. I'm happy right now.” She kissed the cat’s snout and he blinked sleepily back at her “I should focus on what I have right now. Don't you think?” Bummie meowed looking past her at the soft pillow where he wanted to sleep. Jules narrowed her eyes and kissed the cat again. She didn't like cats before and didn't want Bummie and now she couldn't live without him. It was all a matter of getting used to new things. She had to get used to that new Jules she could be.

The doorbell rang startling Lillie and she rolled on the bed searching for Jinki. He was sitting up and placed a hand on her arm calming her.

“It’s Minho. He sent me a text.”

“Minho?” She asked confused, her voice sleepy and low.

“Stay here. Everything is alright.” he kissed her forehead and stood up from the bed. That's when she realized that he had put on sweatpants which meant that he was probably waiting for Minho already.

Lillie sat on the bed rubbing her eyes, grasping the covers around her body. Jinki had told her not to follow him but she was curious of course and stayed alert. Since no doors were separating their bedroom on the up floor to the living kitchen area downstairs she could hear everything perfectly.

The door was opened by Jinki and closed after the low familiar voice of Minho joining Jinki’s.

“I’m sorry that I came like this, at this time.”

“It's fine. It's not even that late…”

“Is Lillie here? I'm sorry I woke you up.”

“It's fine. She is sleeping.”

That wasn't true but Jinki wanted to reassure Minho so she stayed as silent as she could.

“I didn't know who to go to but I had to speak with someone.” Minho's voice was filled with pain and Lillie moved over the bed searching for her underwear. Even if she was supposedly sleeping she wasn't sure if they would need her. Minho sounded like he was in trouble.

“I made a huge mistake!”

Lillie found her and quickly put them on, listing many possible reasons for Minho’s panic in her head. None of them seemed right, not when the person in question was Minho. He was such a good person.

“What happened?” Jiinki’s voice seemed as calm as usual but for someone who knew him well, it was obvious that he was also worried.

“I-I…Jonghyun is going to kill me. Jinki I ed it all up!” And then it happened - a sob. Lillie froze midway wrapping a sleeping robe around her pajamas. She had seen Minho cry before when the reason was Eun Ha and now it was happening again. She bit the interior of her cheek and then it hit her.

“What did you do?" Jinki asked, certainly frowning.

Lillie knew. She had seen the clues, she had seen them on the day of the concert.

“I fell for his sister, I fell for Sodam.”

Lillie closed her eyes and a weak smile escaped her lips. She was relieved. Love wasn't a mistake.

“Hell...” Jinki cursed, not relieved as she was.

Lillie crouched next to the stairs and peeked down trying not to be seen. Both men were by the counter of the kitchen, Minho sitting in one of the high chairs and Jinki had the fridge open. He took two bottles of soju and then hesitated and pulled two more and placed them on the counter next to glasses. Lillie crossed her arms over her chest unhappy that they were drinking when Jinki had to wake early the next day but alcohol was probably the best thing at that moment.

Minho’s shoulders shook and he inhaled deeply rubbing his face. He was crying and Lillie wished she could hug him. They weren't that close of course but Minho would always be like a special friend to her. And it was hard to ignore the feeling of protection she felt towards all of the SHINee members. She was a shawol after all.

“I didn't want it to happen. You know how he is when it comes to guys trying to approach her.”

“I do.” Jinki acknowledged.

“I don't know how...but I started to notice her more.”

“Alright…” Jinki patted Minho’s arm gently. “It's alright. It happens! It's not like we can order our hearts to love this or that person. We both know that better than many people.”

“Yes...but…” Minho shook his head dipping it lower and Jinki pushed a glass filled with soju in his direction. He drank it in one go.

“Did you confess to her?”

“No, no! Are you crazy?”

Jinki tilted his head and then his eyes moved to the stairs where now bravely Lillie was sitting visibly to them hearing the conversation. She blinked her eyes scared that Jinki might be upset that she was listening but he smiled at her weakly. He didn't know what to do or say to help Minho and she smiled back because she didn't either.

“But it gets worse.” Minho interrupted the silent exchange.

“Worse?" Jinki’s eyes widened and Minho drank again.

“Yes, today I was out clubbing and by faith or luck or misfortune - I don't even know - she was there with friends. She was drunk and I offered to take her home...she ing kissed me Jinki!”

“Oh…”

“I kissed her back. Like an , I kissed her back…”

“No, you are not an .”

“I‘m going crazy because I know I need to take her out of my head but I can't! She is all I think about. This is like Eun Ha all over again.”

“She is not Eun Ha though.” Jinki pointed out.

“No, she is way better than her, and I'm a fool.”

“I think that…'' Jinki's gaze met Lillie’s while he spoke “That if you truly love Sodam and she likes you back then Jonghyun will accept it. He only wants the best for her.”

“What if he doesn't? What if I lose his friendship? What if this is the end of us, of SHINee?”

“No, it wouldn't. Jonghyun wouldn't let something like that pull us apart.” Jinki filled Minho’s glass again “If he does then he is an idiot! Because two people he loves deeply are happy in love and he can't accept it.”

“Jinki, I don't know!”

“Whatever you decide I'm here for you. We all are, you know that!”

“It’s Jonghyun…” Minho groaned.

“I know and it's why I know he will accept it in the end because I know him and his heart. As long as you are respectful and serious…”

“I kissed her when she was drunk.” Minho cried.

“She kissed you too!” Lillie interrupted from the stairs and Minho turned around cleaning his eyes embarrassed.

“Sorry.” she blushed “I don't want to intrude but I couldn't help but listen and I know that I don't know the people in question as well as you and probably I should keep my opinions to myself but if she kissed you maybe she isn't totally unaware of your feelings."

“What do you mean?”

“I mean that I don't go kissing every guy I see when I'm drunk, and I think most people are like that. Besides she knows what a mess would be if Jonghyun found out too. If she kissed you then she might have some feelings for you too.”

Minho stared at her speechless and Lillie wrapped her arms around her knees pulling them closer to her chest “Stop blaming yourself for loving someone. Love is never a bad thing and Sodam is such an amazing person, anyone would fall for her. And you aren't anyone. Jonghyun should be happy that her sister found someone as great as you, as deserving of her as you.”

He parted his lips unable to speak and Lilli shook her head “I'm just stating my opinion. From what you said you tried to protect her if she kissed you it's her own decision and you should respect it. I think you should confess to her and if she feels the same then tell Jonghyun. Maybe he won't be receptive at first but like Jinki said he will accept it. He has to! ”

“I’m--” Minho turned to Jinki and he smiled proudly back at him.

“My girlfriend says it all!” Jinki grinned pouring soju on his glass and Minho’s picking up another that he filled too. He gestured for Lillie to join them and she walked down the stairs barefooted and approached the two men. She wasn't sure how she got the courage to give Minho’s advice - love advice - when she was so inexperienced when she first had met him. Things did change and she had matured and it wasn't only Jinki that was proud of what she had said, she felt proud too.

“Let's toast to Minho’s and Sodam’s happiness…” Jinki suggested.

“Yes. “ Lillie grabbed the glass her boyfriend offered and Minho grabbed his and raised it too.

“May Jonghyun accept whoever Sodam chooses.” Lillie added.

Minho chuckled and they all drank.

“I'm sorry I woke you two up.”

“It's fine.” Lillie grimaced still not entirely used to the taste of alcohol. “You shouldn't go out now. Stay here tonight.”

“Oh no, I could never."

“She is right.” Jinki agreed “You shouldn't drive. You can stay on the couch. It opens.”

“I ca…” Lillie didn't let Minho finish. “I'm going to make your bed.”

“I…” Minho sighed watching Lillie rushing up the stairs to grab bed sheets and blankets. “Lillie, she is different…”

“She is.” Jinki agreed.

“She actually talks with me now and she looks more...confident.”

“Well, I like to think that I was one of the reasons she bloomed to be this amazing woman.” Jinki smiled satisfied supporting himself on the counter with his elbows.

“It is, I'm sure of it.” Minho rubbed his temple “Thank you for listening to me, for the support and the place to sleep.”

“Sure, you know we are brothers. Always here for each other.”

The sound of something falling upstairs and Lillie cursing under her breath made Jinki chuckle.

“Are you alright?” he asked.

“Need any help?” Minho joined in.

“I'm fine, thanks…”

Minho filled both his and Jinki's glass again.

“You definitely should ask me to be your best man when you marry that woman.” Minho raised his glass and Jinki raised his too.

“I think you have a high chance of getting it.”

“Only a chance? Hey...you can't choose Kibum over me!”

Jinki raised his eyebrows cutely relieved to see Minho back to his usual self.

Lillie placed another egg roll on Minho’s bowl and then on Jinki’s. Minho thanked her, still surprised with that new Lillie. She used to blush whenever he looked at her, it was rare to see her even speak to him and now she was even actively taking care of him, acting like his noona.

“This one!” Jinki announced interrupting the silent breakfast, turning his phone for Lillie to see.

She frowned and shook her head vigorously. “No way! I look awful in it!”

Jinki seemed confused “You look perfect to me!”

Minho grinned watching them bicker. She took the phone from Jinki’s hand and skipped through his gallery finding another selfie of her and Jinki that was better. They all woke up early so that Jinki and her could go to work, Minho would probably hit the gym to try and unwind for a little while. They had barely started eating breakfast when Jinki announced that he would update his insta with the first couple selfie of him and Lillie.

It took him a while to find a picture but Lillie didn't approve it.

“This one.” Jinki pointed at the screen of his phone and Lillie gasped.

“No, look at my eyes!”

“I think you look beautiful.”

“I look weird.”

“You are smiling and your smile is beautiful.”

They bickered for a little longer and Minho decided to interrupt. “Should I choose then? I can give an impartial opinion on the subject.”

“Alright.” Lillie offered the phone to him and Minho swiped through the pictures they had taken on a date, from which Minho remembered the ones from the same day they were supposedly caught by the press.

“This one.” He said turning the phone for Jinki and Lillie to see. “You aren't smiling too much or trying too hard. Seems natural to me.”

“I like it!” Jinki turned to Lillie expectantly and she nodded.

“Alright.”

Satisfied Jinki grabbed his phone and opened Instagram. Lillie ate her food stealing nervous glances at what Jinki was doing.

That was a big thing for both of them and even though Jinki seemed indifferent to the importance of it Minho knew he wasn't. He worried about ways to protect Lillie, he had asked them for advice and Kibum had given him some guidance on how to use Instagram lives and how to slowly introduce Lillie to the fans.

He didn't think about it yet. But if Sodam truly liked him back - he couldn't help but feel hopeful after what Lillie said - and they eventually were approved by Jonghyun he still had to convince the fans too.

“Done!” Jinki announced and Lillie leaned closer both their heads over the phone to see. He refreshed the page and many comments showed up.

“So?” Minho asked and Lillie bit her lower lip while taping her leg. Jinki placed a hand over her knee and smiled.

“Not bad.”

“Not bad?” She asked joining her head with him again. Minho leaned over the counter and peaked too but it was hard to read since the comments were upside down.

“Look how cute they look.” “I ship this.” “Love you.” Jinki read some raising the phone in his hand for Lillie to check for herself, then he turned it to Minho. “They don't seem upset.”

Jinki was relieved, Minho knew he was and he was too. If someone deserved to be happy it was Jinki and seeing the fans accept his private life was also a good sign for all the other members.

“Our fans are one of a kind!”

“They are.” Lillie agreed with Minho still reading comments. “I'm sure some aren't happy though…” She narrowed her eyes trying to find hate in the middle of the hearts and congratulations. Jinki didn't let her, pulling it away and turning the screen off.

“Whatever! There will always be haters.”

“Yes, Jinki is right. You need to focus on the good comments.”

“I'll try.” Lillie sighed deeply and Jinki squeezed her hand over the counter.

“Later we are doing our first live.”

“Wow!” Minho tried to give Lillie a reassuring smile after she looked at him seeming truly in a panic over the idea “It's going to be fine.”

“We are meeting with Kibum.” Jinki informed him “I think it's better if we aren't alone at first. Besides I'm a newbie at this.”

“That's not a bad idea. I can join in too if you want.”

Lillie’s eyes sparkled thankful and Jinki nodded “Sure. We are going out for dinner. My treat!”

“And we are done.” Jonghyun announced pushing his chair back from the table.

“Thank you for your help!” Jinki and he had been working on that song since late morning and were finally finished.

“And with this one….”

“I think I can start recording.” Jinki completed. He had been preparing songs and the concept of his first solo album and now was time to set a date for the comeback.

“I think I'm going to take the rest of the day off.” Jonghyun said, which was something rare for the workaholic him.

“Want to have dinner with me? I'm paying. Lillie, Minho, and Kibum are going.”

“Ah, that sounds like it will be fun. They will be bickering half the dinner. If Taemin went it would be even more chaotic.”

Jinki chuckled agreeing with him.

“But I promised my mother that I would bring Rin home to have dinner with us, so I'm sorry but I can't.”

“It's alright.” Jinki cleared his throat “You know I have this friend…”

Jonghyun leaned back on the chair looking at him with a raised eyebrow and Jinki hoped he couldn't see through his story.

“I have this friend that has a sister and he is a bit like you.”

“Like me?”

“Yes, overprotective.”

“I'm not overprotective.” Jonghyun held offended.

“You are a little.” A little was being extremely mild to describe it but Jinki decided to go with that.

“Anyway, what do you want to say?”

“So this other friend that is a mutual friend of ours is in love with her.”

Jonghyun looked back at Jinki, his expression not changing a little and Jinki carried on. “I'm just curious about what would you do if it happened to you. If a close friend of yours fell for your sister what would you do?”

“If you weren't dating Lillie I would be very suspicious right now.” Jonghyun pointed out.

“Yes, imagine I wasn't dating Lillie and I was that guy.”

“Are you?” Jonghyun straightened his body on the chair looking extremely dangerous. If Jinki was in Minho's place he would be terrified. “Are you in love with my sister?”

“No, I love Lillie, you know that.”

“I do but this conversation…”

“It's about a friend...friends. Not you…” Jinki swallowed hard.

“I see.”

“So imagine that a friend liked her, a friend similar to me, how would you react?”

“The idea is ridiculous!”

“Ridiculous? Why?”

“No friend of mine would even look at my sister the same way they look at a woman because they are my friends and respect me.”

“Well it's not a matter of respect, you can't control who you fall in love with!”

“Jinki seriously, there is no way!”

“Even if it was me?”

Jonghyun exhaled noisily seeming more and more aggravated with the conversation and Jinki bit his lower lip.

“Are things between you and your girlfriend going well?”

“Yes, but this is hypothetically…”

“Don't you have a date to go to?” Jonghyun said pushing the chair abruptly back and grabbing his coat from the couch behind it. Jinki stared at him at loss for words. Jonghyun couldn't even conceive the idea that a friend could be in love with his sister and probably a member would be ten times worse.

“Ah yes…” Jinki gave up on pushing the subject and stood too. While he put his coat on he thought about Minho’s mood that morning, how Lillie’s speech from the night before raised his fighting spirit but now after he saw Jonghyun’s reaction to that conversation he wasn't sure that Minho would be able to win that challenge.

Lillie took off her shoes and pressed the light button illuminating the small apartment. She could feel Jinki’s presence behind her, locking the door. She didn't wait for him and stepped inside wearing her slippers. She made a small dancing step in the middle of the room and then twirled and sat on the small couch below the window. Jinki was bent down unlacing his snickers and when he looked up sliding his feet into his sleepers he lifted one eyebrow amused.

“You seem happy!”

“I feel happy.” She confessed playing with the collar of her shirt.

He nodded satisfied, “Is this because of your first live?” In reality, it wasn't her live, nor Jinki’s. It was Kibum’s. They were almost finished with dinner - a very pleasant experience where she spent most of the time laughing because Minho, Kibum, and Jinki together were hilarious. At a certain moment, she laughed so much she choked on her food and all three promptly offered her water which made her laugh even more.

To be honest when Kibum grabbed his phone declaring that it was time she was nervous and immediately her good disposition vanished. The guys acted as if they didn't notice how tense she became. Jinki squeezed her hand under the table but that was it.

Kibum started by saying hi to everyone and showing Minho and Jinki and then when he turned the camera to her she thought that her heart was going to jump out of her chest. It was a quick moment and he didn't focus on her too long, he only said Lillie was there too and quickly turned it away. It had to seem natural and Kibum was good at it. He was the right person to help them. Sadly Jules couldn't be there but she had texted Lillie before dinner saying that she could trust Kibum, and she trusted him. He was taking good care of her.

The live went on for a while with the members taking turns talking to the camera. She stayed behind like an extra but she didn't mind. It felt awkward to keep eating but since the guys were still eating she kept going, the food not tasting as good as it did before.

Jinki cooked meat for her again, filling her bowl and she thanked him too self-conscious. She did the same back to him while watching from the corner of her eye how Minho and Kibum bickered.

It was about a famous drama she watched a couple of months ago that had a very confusing ending and Minho and Kibum did watch it too.

“I'm telling you, she was the one who killed him!” Kibum said.

“No, it couldn't have been Kiki. I think it was her father.” Minho shook his head. “Ask the fans!”

Kibum rolled his eyes “It was Kiki right?” They stared at the screen for a while.

“See, some are saying her father.”

“A person is saying it was the dog.” Kibum laughed out loud and when Jinki stretched to try and peek he turned the camera to him catching Lillie too. She pressed her lips together and only observed them.

“Jinki who killed him?” Minho asked.

“I don't know. I haven't watched it.”

“Aigo...Lillie? Who is right? Me or Minho?” Kibum asked her and she tried to focus on Kibum and forget the camera, she was alright talking with him before, she only had to act as if she wasn't being filmed and many shawols eyes were on her.

“I think it was Kiki!"

“SEE?” Kibum celebrated with a big chuckle. “It was her of course because she had…”

“His scarf at the end!” Lillie completed with a smile.

“Right! You weren't keeping attention!” Kibum scolded Minho.

“Well, I was busy!”

Everyone laughed including her.

“I was busy too!” Kibum groaned bickering with Minho for a while longer with them reading comments from fans.

One of them asked if Lillie watched many dramas and she ended up answering that question and a couple more Kibum would throw at her, all very innocent. He was acting as if she was the main interest of the chat when surely she didn't think she was. He was acting so natural though as if she was always there and wasn't only an extra in that live.

After all of them talked to the fans again they said their goodbyes and it was over.

She had survived their first live and from what Kibum said the comments he saw were good. She was sure there were haters too, of course, there were but overall shawols were nice to her.

He even said some shawols said that she was cute.

Lillie would never describe herself as cute!

She smiled to herself forgetting about Jinki's question. He was beside the fridge now watching her, a bottle of water in his hand.

“They said I was cute.” She mumbled and he grinned satisfied.

“Of course you are.” He raised the bottle “Want some water?”

“Yes, please.”

He approached her and offered her his bottle and she grabbed it and drank from it, her body still fervent with excitement. She was sure it would take her a while to fall asleep. She couldn't stop replaying everything that happened during the live or what she said. She wanted to check sns after the live but Jinki didn't let her so she was trying hard to resist it. But in the morning, as soon as she could she would check it.

She swallowed the water and giggled “Indirect kiss.”

Jinki placed a hand on the back of the couch and dipped his head down kissing her lips. He pulled away brushing hair away from her forehead and smiled warmly “Direct kiss!”

She pressed her lips together all giddy and he turned around and grabbed his phone from over the kitchen counter.

“What do we do next?” Lillie asked.

He turned his head to look at her “Next we shower and go to sleep. I'm really tired.”

“No, I mean, of course. But I was asking about our plan.”

“Hum...Tomorrow I'm going to the recording studio and the company. I want you to meet me there after work.”

“Why?”

“I had an idea. Kibum thinks it's a good one.”

“What kind of idea?”

“You will see.” He swiftly slid his phone into his pants pocket and pulled her up to her feet “It will be fun! But for now, let's just go to sleep and forget about lives and the plan. Let's relax.”

She nodded, taking a deep breath. She could worry about shawols opinions and the plan the next day.
