Riding on out bicycles and breathing in the scent of our surroundings;

Drinking a warm cup of black coffee on a rainy day;

We love Music;

We love the outdoors;

We love to eat;

And now;

We are similar in ¾ parts;

And have ¼ parts to fill in;

Momo was enrolled in a music school and it was currently her second year. She loves music and though she cannot play instruments very well, she loved to dance. Momo wasn’t a popular girl nor a nerd; she was the average joe that you would find with a small circle of friends. But ultimately, She loved to spend time alone, letting dance or her thoughts take her away. Being in the school for almost a year, Momo had never hand her thoughts interrupted by anyone until she laid eyes on a familiar looking girl radiating with dark beauty.

She ignored it at first but soon find it hard because she seemed to appear wherever she went. Momo didn’t know what about the girl intrigued her, but she wanted to know her more. The blonde admired the latter reading a book alone on the bench from the second story. This took place a few times before Momo mastered up her courage to talk to the freshman. One day after school, she followed her to see where she was headed. To her surprise, she was walking towards the bicycle racks to take her bike.

Momo ended lessons hours ago but stayed because she wanted to talk to Mina. As she walked closer, She saw the latter tugging on a bike lock. Since she couldn’t pry it off, she resorted to using a large rock that was lying nearby to break it open. Just as she was about to hit the lock, Momo ran towards her and stopped her.

“Y-Ya! Ya! Wait!” She shielded the lock with one hand and then grabbed her by the wrist on the other.

“What the matter?” Momo asked, relieved that she stopped the girl from potentially hurting herself and both their bikes.

“I.. .I accidentally locked them together and I can’t find my keys…” Mina said shyly. Momo almost didn’t hear what she said but she managed to catch it. Breaking out into laughter, she told the latter that it was okay.

Mina cocked her brow but soon broke out of her trance. “What are you laughing for?”

“It’s okay, that’s my bike, you don’t have to worry.” Momo said as she wiped her tears away.

“How am I going to get home…” Mina sighed.

“I know a local workshop around here, we can go there and get our bikes free. But… for now we have to carry them here…” Momo looked at the latter for a smile of approval and she got that signature gummy smile.

While they hauled their bicycles towards the workshop, they made small talk with each other. Mina found it really familiar, the way Momo talked, the voice and the looks. She suddenly stopped and place the bike down before gasping in realization.

“Momo! Hirai Momo?” She said as she poked the latter on the forehead. Momo smiled.

“Mina! So it’s really you! How are you?!” Momo said as she laughed.

Since the day Mina moved away when they were little, she had never been able to see or reach her. It almost seemed like the girl she played with when she was young, her best friend, just disappeared. But now, she was standing right before her. The two hung out for a while even after they freed their bikes, reminiscing about their happy past before they got separated.

“You are still the same you know?” Mina said as she pinched Momo on the cheek.

“Your gummy smile is still there too!” Momo hummed.

Momo felt her heart flutter. The same feeling she got as a child when the played together. When she was young, she might have suppressed the feelings because she didn’t understand but right now, she was sure that she is in love with Mina.

Mina was waiting for someone as she leaned on the railing, enjoying the breeze on her face. Just then, a person interrupted
