Sana's father paced back and fourth in front of the ward while her Mother and adoptive Sister Myoui Mina were comforting Momo, her current girlfriend. The blonde intertwined her fingers together and hung her head Low while she tried to hole her tears back until the doctor comes out. It was bad enough that Sana had cancer but refuses to go through chemo. But she had been begging the doctor to let her go because of the pain she was going through. Some might think that she's selfish for letting go but stage 4 cancer was no joke. If Korea allowed medically induced suicide, she would have taken it because she hurt. She's hurt physically and mentally whenever she sees or hears those closest to her crying. Even if they aren't, Sana knew that deep down, they where aching. 

She had been at war with this carcinoma for months now and was finally at peace. The doctor walked out of the ward with his head hung low.

"I'm sorry..." was all he could say as he walked away to give the family some time to absorb the information. When asked if she wanted to see her girlfriend for the last time, Momo shook her head and bolted out of the hospital. She ran, and ran , and ran; the rain mixed with her tears as she dropped onto her knees and cursed at the sky. After kneeling there for quite sometime, she picked herself up and walked to a stone ledge where she sat. She concentrated on the feeling of the raindrops against her skin to forget about Sana's death and noticed that it seemed to stop. She looked up and saw Mina looking at her sadly while sheltering her with an umbrella. But once Momo saw her, she broke down again; hugging the latter who didn't seem to mind that she was wet. 

Mina had always been friends with Momo since she and her Sister entered the same school. Even though she was a year younger than the couple, they clicked well with each other. Mina was the most mature out of the 3 and always taking care of her clumsy Sister and her not so intelligent Girlfriend; she was kind of like the mediator when the couple fought. But now, she knew she had to be by Momo's side to make sure her friend was okay. Another reason Mina wanted to care for her was because she had a crush on the blonde. No, Mina wasn't wishing for her Sister to die off but there was no lie that this gave her an opportunity to have Momo, if the girl ever moves on. 

While Mina's parents were coping well with the lost and being very real about it, Momo was broken. Mina would find herself staying over at her house for days just to make sure the latter doesn't do something stupid to herself.

"Momo, you got to eat something..." she pleaded again but the latter would just be in a daze, staring at her phone. Being the most mature one didn't mean her patience was Long. She soon got frustrated at the latter. 

"Momo... Do you think unnie will like it when she sees you now?" Mina asked with her intent to guilt trip Momo. But she told the latter to shut up.

"What if she sees you now? Will she be happy?" Mina continued pushing her buttons.

"Shut up..." the latter uttered. 

"Don't you want unnie to rest in piece? Why are you so selfish-" 

"SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!" Momo screamed as she pressed her hands against her ears. "What do you know about her?! You're not even her REAL Sister!" 

Mina heard that many times when Sana got really angry at her. She thought she was already immune to that but this time, it hurt; even though she knew Momo didn't mean it, it hurt. Mina sighed as she lowered her head. 

"I'm sorry..." Mina whispered.

It didn't take long for Momo to realize what she had said. "M-Mina... I-" 

"It's okay, I'm sorry, I'll go now..." Mina said as she left.

Momo mentally cursed at herself. She tossed and the bed before proceeding to the bathroom to rinse her face with water. As she stared at the reflection of her dripping wet face, an internal war was happening in her mind. 

The doorbell to Mina's house rang. She squinted her eyes open and dragged her feet towards the door, wondering who would be visiting so early in the morning. She was too tired to even check the peephole and to her surprise, she saw Momo dressed up in sports attire when she opened the door. Mina's knotted her brows together in confusion but the latter barged into her house and pushed her towards her room to get changed. While she did that, the blonde took some time to look around the house. It hurt seeing Sana's pictures still in the house. After she passed, Momo got rid of whatever reminded her of Sana and stored it in the storeroom. 

"Momo I-" Mina stopped once she saw Momo starting at one of the pictures with Sana's portrait. 

"You okay?" Mina whispered while she threads her hand through her bag straps. The latter quickly swiped away the tears that had welled up and shook her head before dragging Mina out with her for a hike. 

Halfway through, Mina was already complaining but the physically inclined girl just pushed her on until they reached the top of the hill. As they finally get to sit, Mina demanded a reason on why she wanted this sudden trip, which Momo explained, was a way to clear her mind and apologize to Mina.

"Apologize?! It was like a punishment!" Mina hissed as she massaged her legs. Momo suddenly started scrambling through her bag, which shocked Mina a little, before pulling out a packet of snacks. 

Mina was taken aback. 

"Hirai Momo, when is a time when you don't have food on you?" Mina sighed while shaking her head. Momo just rolled her eyes and they shared the snack together. 

Mina had been trying her best to help her Best Friend forget about the death of her Sister. She brings Momo out to eat, shop, hang out and even visits her when she has her breakdowns. Mina has her down moments too but chose to hide it so she will not affect the latter. Sometimes she takes care of people more than herself.
