I couldn’t see any other way out of this mess. I shouldn’t have listened to Jessica.

She left me with her friend, Tiffany. Tiffany? She eats well. Obviously, she likes eating, I can see that. Well, she’s really cute. The way she chews her food and swallows it afterwards.

I really enjoy watching her eat, while I’m just drinking my iced latte.

I’m still waiting for the perfect time; I’ve wanted to ask her about my phone which is the real issue here.

After nearly 30 minutes when she finished her food, No, I wasn’t looking at her, I just noticed it. Stop being defensive, Kim Taeyeon.

“T-Tiffany, are you done?” I asked her.

“Yes, the foods are delicious oh god.” she said happily.

“Oh wait, where’s the bathroom?” she added.

“O-oh o-okay, just walk straight then turn left.” I answered.

“Thanks, Taeyeon.” She flashes a smile that melted my heart.

I noticed her bag and I caught a glimpse of my phone. Should I get it? I mean so I can finish this what I’m doing right now. So I can leave her and Jessica alone. Yes, that’s it.

As I slowly slide my hand inside her bag, I manage to grab my phone just in time before she returned to our table.

“Hey, are you okay?” Tiffany asked me unknowingly to what I’ve done.

“Y-yes, err, T-tiffany? I-I need to go. J-just tell Jessica that I already leave. ” I said.

She looked at me with her bewildered look.

“I-I gotta go.” I said as I cleared my throat. I stole some glances at her. She still confused I see.

“It’s you and Jessica who needs to bond and not me.” I said.

Lying to her feels horrible, I feel so guilty.

“Actually, Tiffany, I a-already got what I needed.”

 “I showed her my phone, as you can see, I’m the owner of this phone and I left it at the party. I was the one who texted you asking about this.” I explained.

“I’m so sorry; I didn’t mean to be such a bother.” I added.

“I apologise for the sudden inconvenience I brought you.” The last words I uttered before taking my leave.

She called my name thrice but I didn’t bother to look at her even once.

I was still shocked by her sudden confession. So she already knows that I’m the one who got her phone all along. Wow. And Jessica actually didn’t tell me, are they kidding me? What is this, some games?
