Dylan's POV, 2046

Another five minutes and I'd be able to see Kimmy again. Jesus! I missed her so much. Six months! I was so scared that she might leave me for another guy because six months is like an eternity long for me. When I heard about her mother's death I really wish I could leave the U.S. and go back to her, but my project had been dragging me down. I had to finish constructing the machine before I could come back. Oh by the way, it's not some ordinary machines, it's a TIME MACHINE and I have successfully invented it with my teammates, George, Wesley, Ariane, Hannah and Ian. Wesley and Ian came with me. I was so nervous that I started moving a lot. 

"Dude are you alright?" asked Wesley.

"He's just nervous coz he's finally seeing his girl hahahaha" Ian laughed. I clenched my fist and pretended to be punching Ian. He was shocked.

"Buddy chillax!! Our machine is with me, see this? I am holding it, you might accidentally wreck it if you punch me." 

"Should we really do an experiment here? I am still unsure about it's capabilities." I frowned.

"Don't worry buddy, think about your girl first. She's waiting..." 

Soon we were in front of Kimmy's, a two-storey town house outside the city. I carefully rang the bell and waited in front of the door. My heart was exploding. I started sweating and shivering. Kimmy is right here!! What should I say? Should I hug her? Or give her a kiss? Or a big smile? Jesus Christ this is driving me crazy!!! Calm down Dylan, calm down... I waited there, like a kid waiting for the school bell to ring so that he could run back and play his video games. 

Soon, the door was opened. A middle aged woman with long curly hair was standing in front of me. I recognised her immediately. "Aunt Jane!!!!" I gave her a hug. She is like a mother to Kimmy, and we are very close. I have been together with Kimmy since she started middle school. I know that it sounded crazy but it's been seven years! I know her family well and she knows mine too. Aunt Jane is the kindest person I have ever met, and she really is a good cook. 

"Kimmy! Dylan is here!" Aunt Jane shouted. 

I could hear a very sweet and familiar voice coming from the kitchen. "Really? I am coming!" I smiled, looking at her running towards me. I opened my arms and she jumped on me. I quickly supported her thighs and gave her a warm kiss on the cheek. 

"Wow damn buddy your girl's hot! Hi I am Wesley, and this is Ian, we are Dylan's teammates, lab bud
