Chapter 2 : Just the beginning

A beautiful long haired lady entered the crime scene with a confident stride. "Officer moonbyul, it's been a long time since we last met." With a gentle smile curving her blood-red lips, she approached Moonbyul.

"It sure is." Moonbyul replied back coldly and avoided eye contact with Minah.

"Ohh?" Minah noticed the girl standing next to Moonbyul. She gasped.

She was still trying to get a grasp on the situation. With her lips parted, the words almost slipped out. "Why are you-"

"She's our new colleague, Solar." Moonbyul interrupted and pulled Minah aside. "We will talk about that another time." She let out a long, tired sigh.

Solar took a quick peek at them. 

Minah nodded her head in understanding.

Shortly after, they returned.

"Sorry for the wait. I'm Minah." She introduced herself.  

Solar stood there, rigid as a statue. "Nice to meet you madam! I'm Solar." She greeted back awkwardly.

"Madam?" Minah repeated softly with a forced smile.

"Ah...." Moonbyul shook her head. 

"Erm, anyways I will be moving on to the main topic." Minah ignored the conversation, focusing on examining the deceased.

Minah is a forensic pathologist.

They clasped their hands in prayer for the deceased before proceeding with their investigation.

"Minah-ssi ,what have you found out?" Moonbyul bent forward, taking a closer look at the deceased.

"Based on the victim's body temperature,the estimated time of death is around 1 to 3 a.m." She gives off a professional vibe.

"Are there any obvious injuries found?" 

"There are 2 visible wounds. Fractures at the right knee and right elbow." Minah showed them the wounds which were a little disturbing to see.
