Neighborhood Idiot

It's Called Being In Love {DISCONTINUED please look @ "About Me" in profile for further info}

A minute barely passed when Myungsoo got home after school ended and saw people making certain comments on the retweets, which now had double the original amount:

"So pretty! So jellie T^T"

"This is really well taken! Are they professionals?!"

"Hey! I know the photographer and the model here! (/'3')/ Wait, how did they get so famous? OAO"

Again, he was really surprised that this simple picture got so famous. Then again, this was the same boy with a body every woman would dream to have we're talking about here, so slightly less surprising. At least he was still getting compliments on his photography skills.

There were a couple inappropriate comments here and there which made Myungsoo want to punch the monitor, so you can guess what the comments were about. Slightly possessive? Yes, Myungsoo would agree with that himself, except his reasoning would be different: 'Being a normal, possessive best friend'.

Well, it was partially true, but it was more wrong than it was true.

As he continued scrolling down the millions of retweets a particular comment caught his attention:

"They're only high schoolers, right? But this picture already seems like it was taken and posed by professionals. We could really use more of these types of people in our company."

A company wants us? Maybe we can become a famous duo that takes the celebrity side of the world by surprise...

". . . Pfft! Yeah right..." he snickers before flopping onto his bed and grabbing his camera.

Now that I think about it, this is the second time Sungjong noticed that I took a picture of him, Myungsoo scrolls through his camera, looking through the galleries in each SD card that he saved in his drawer.

From the oldest to the earliest SD cards, he noticed how pictures of scenery slowly decreased and pictures of Sungjong slowly increased, some taken with persmission and some taken without the other noticing.

Myungsoo didn't put much thought into why pictures of Sungjong slowly increased, he just felt like sleeping until his parents would call for him to come down to eat dinner.

"Alright everyone, please find a partner so you can start on your projects!" the teacher clapped her hands together.

Myungsoo saw how all the kids got up from their seats to go meet up with their best friend and greeting each other with smiles and nicknames. He obviously didn't have any friends on the second day of school since the other kids deemed him too 'scary' and 'gloomy'.

The boy couldn't help it though. That was just how his normal face looked like.

He then felt someone cling onto his arm. He turned his head to see the same boy who brightly greeted him with no problem after everyone else rejected him, "Hi, L~! Do you remember me?" Sungjong smiled.

"Jong...ie...?" he slowly and quietly said, but then immediately hid his face beneath his bangs from embarrassment.

"'Jongie'?" Sungjong blinked innocently at the new nickname.

"Friends give each other nicknames... right?" Myungsoo murmured.

Sungjong immediately brightened even more if that was possible when he heard that, "Yep~! Friends give each other nicknames and do projects together!"

~The next day~

"Aye yai yai, those lovebirds are at it again," a male student groaned as he face-palmed.

"Aw, but it's cute when they do that," a female student beside him giggled.

Sungjong sighed as he heard the usual complaints and giggles as he entered the school yard with Myungsoo hugging him from behind.

"Do you seriously have to do this every morning?" Sungjong asked as he continued walking to the school building with 'his dork' following close behind him. He had gotten used to the stares he got from everyone else on campus, just not Myungsoo clinging onto him.

That was probably because he was the one who used to initiate le skinship the hugging and clinging and slowly their roles did a complete 180 once the shy, awkward boy became a dork who has no intention of beating around the bush.

"I need to recharge..." Myungsoo murmured sleepily.

"This is why you shouldn't sleep during random parts of the day, especially if your a heavy sleeper," the younger said, combing down the other's bedhead-hair with his fingers. Well, it was more of a soothing massage to Myungsoo rather than making those random curls of hair go down.

"You smell like lemons-"

"So you've said since yesterday," Sungjong interrupted with a small smile relaxing onto his face. He walked over to his locker and used the hand that wasn't combing Myungsoo's hair to unlock it when he heard a familiar, annoying voice, "JONGI-!"

Sungjong reacted quickly by flinging the locker door open causing a loud smack to be heard from the other side of it.

"Ow! What was that for, Jongie?!" a voice yelled, moving the locker door a bit to reveal a familiar face to the childhood friends.

"Stop calling me that Woohyun, I don't want to hear my nickname coming from you," Sungjong said while taking out his textbook for his next class.

Ah yes, Woohyun, also none as the 'neighborhood idiot' by the entire school. An overaffectionate puppy was what Myungsoo saw him as due to how he always followed Sungjong around giving random heart symbols to everyone and teasing him.

Don't get Myungsoo wrong, he loves puppies and animals in general, but this specific 'greasy puppy' is the only one he was annoyed by.

"Yet you accept aegyo from that Jindo dog who is currently glaring at me with a dark aura around him," Woohyun couldn't help but sweat because he could literally see the dark aura of 'get away from Sungjong' from Myungsoo.

"It's not aegyo, he's just being clingy," Sungjong said as he closed and locked his locker.

"Oh, I've seen this in animes, it's called being a tsundere," Woohyun teased, making Sungjong mutter something under his breath in annoyance. He then seemed to remember something, "I also saw that picture of Sungjongie on your Twitter, L. Did you see my retweet?"

Myungsoo thought back to last evening and immediately remembered that one retweet with a bunch of emoticons used in it.

"Even I knew who retweeted it while overusing emoticons," Sungjong rolled his eyes.

"Look at you being a sassy diva so early in the morning," Woohyun chuckled while ruffling the 'sassy diva's' hair.

"Stop it! You're messing up my hair!" Sungjong complained but in the end started laughing.

More reasons as to why Myungsoo disliked Woohyun: after all the teasing he can still make Sungjong laugh like that with that easy-going nature. Not only that but he could go to Sungjong's house anytime he liked because he lived in the same neighborhood as the two.

Why was he so attached to Sungjong?

Myungsoo saw how warm Woohyun's gaze was on Sungjong.

Because he likes- no- loves Sungjong.

He couldn't help but tighten his grip on Sungjong a bit.

Yet there was already an obstacle there.

Chapter 32: Finally caught up!!! I am loving this story a lot and appreciate the Hojong but MYUNGJONG wins for me. I hope Myungsoo gets it right, I want my ship to sail.

I know how woohyun and Sungjong felt about unrequited love. (even though myungjong is reciprocated on both ends now.) I still know that God awful feeling and it is the worst thing ever, I hate feeling that way. I still like my crush of 4 years. I want to tell him but I know the outcome, it will always be unrequited.

Chapter 30: Wow this story is the real roller coaster ride i tell you. Really intriguing and good. And myungsoo is an idiot(must say word after reading this) xD
And I'm happy because IT'S HOJONG TOGETHER MY GOD MY OTP. Now i don't know how the ending gonna be. Really hope for hojong to be together till the end but feel pity to both sungjong and myungsoo. God, it's typical cliche ending of the first lovers to get together but then it is the most right feelings for the story. I don't know but i love hojong T.T i hope u can write more and more interactions of hojong (I LOVE THEM PLEASE!!!) and sunggyu needs to know that the girl he had a crush years ago was actually sungjong and sungjong needs to remember hoya again..ARGHH so many things to unravel i will support u throughout the story so fighting!!!!!
