Woohyun least expected the door to be swung open before Myungsoo grabbed his shoulders and violently shook Woohyun, yelling, "Oh my gawd I've been in love with Sungjong for ten years!"

"Er- y-y-y-yeah-"

"How did I not know that?!"

"I-I-I d-d-d-don't kn-know-"

"I CAN'T believe that I've been in love with Sungjong for the past TEN YEARS!"

"Y-Y-You j-just s-s-s-s-said th-"

And then Woohyun was acruptly shoved away as Myungsoo's eyes widened with realization, "I have to find Sungjong."

"Woah slow down there and get your act together. Do remember the fact that he's avoiding you," Woohyun grabbed Myungsoo by the arm before he could take off, "Finding him would be like finding a needle in a hay sack, L!"

"Well if I don't try now when will I?" Myungsoo said, quickly shaking off Woohyun's hand and heading downstairs, leaving Woohyun to stand there and watch him go. He stood there for a moment, before a smile eases onto his face.

"I see that you're back now, Myungsoo."

Myungsoo quickly puts his shoes on and opens the door, noticing how the sky was gray. He takes a black jacket off of the coat rack nearby and calls out to his mom that he was heading out and that Woohyun was staying over before heading out and slamming the door behind him.

He sprints down the streets, figuring that Sungjong wouldn't be at home if he's dating Howon now.

Dating Howon... there was that familiar bitter feeling again except the only difference was that he knew that he was jealous. So really, he kept running before he quite literally ran into someone at the supermarket and was successful in unintentionally knocking both of them onto the ground. It was really something that he didn't expect when he looked and knew that he somehow used his luck.

"S-Sungjong?!"

"M-Myungsoo?!"

"Ahem."

The two blinked before looking up to see Howon, who was awkwardly standing there. It took one glance back at Sungjong for Myungsoo before he panicked and immediately got off of the younger, "S-S-S-Sorry!"

"It's okay..." Sungjong murmured, a bit dazed even when Howon helped the younger stand up.

"So what were you in a rush for?" Howon asked, patting the dust off of Sungjong's clothing, who was avoiding Myungsoo's gaze.

"Oh- er- uh- I-I was looking for Sungjong..." Myungsoo murmured, noticing how said boy jolted at the mentioning of his name. Howon notices it quickly and pulls Sungjong closer to him, saying, "Sorry Myungsooo, but we're in a bit of a... time crunch here."

Oh how jealousy is such a pain in the ... he tries his best not to grab Sungjong's other arm and ruin his chance, trying instead to persuade the two somehow, "But this is really urgent. Please?"

"How... How long will it take?" Sungjong spoke out, surprising both Howon and Myungsoo.

"I-I don't know but- um- you're free to leave if you see fit..." Myungsoo stuttered.

He watches carefully how Sungjong tugs Howon down a little and whispers something into the older's ear. The latter seems hesitant but reluctantly lets go of Sungjong's arm, saying a quiet bye before slowly leaving them be.

The feminine boy lets out a sigh, "Okay Myungsoo, where do you wanna go?"

Myungsoo suddenly realized that he had nowhere specific in mind, but reaches over to hold Sungjong's hand and gently tug him along to somewhere, eventually ending up at a familiar area beneath a bridge.

"Er- you're still holding my hand..." Sungjong awkwardly says, making Myungsoo immediately let go of Sungjong's hand, awkwardly murmuring an apology as he feels his cheeks heat up. Although it was what seemed to be like a normal reaction, Sungjong looks at him with concern and confusion etched onto his face, "Are you okay, Myungsoo?"

"Yeah... why wouldn't I be?"

"Nothing, it's just that you seem more... animate..." Sungjong quickly shook his head, "N-Never mind, cross that out. It's probably a part of my imagination... A-Anyways, what were you going to tell me?"

"I figured out my answer," Myungsoo took a deep breath, "Sungjong, I really, really like you."

Sungjong blinked maybe once or twice before letting out a sigh, "Myungsoo, I don't need your pity. Please don't give me false hopes again." and Myungsoo was determined to get his message through so he grabs Sungjong's hands and rephrases it differently as their gazes met.

"I love you."

This time, Sungjong's face turns a slight shade of red and Myungsoo couldn't help but mirror that as he continues to repeat it.

"I love you, I love you, I lo-"

"Myungsoo-"

"...ve you, I love you-"

"Myungsoo-!"

"...ou, I love you, I love you, I-"

"MYUNGSOO!"

He was taken aback when he was suddenly pushed back a bit but realized that Sungjong had pushed him back and his face was now bright red, obviously accumulated from the repeating sentences, as he hugs himself insecurely.

"God you're an idiot..." Sungjong murmured, his voice unsteady as he gazes at the ground, obviously avoiding any eye contact from Myungsoo.

"... I miss you, you know..." Myungsoo confessed, wanting those days to return along with something more. To that, it looked like Sungjong wanted to respond but bit the bottom of his lip.

"How do I know that you aren't lying?"

"Should I kiss you then?"

"WHAT?! NO!" Sungjong yelled before covering his face in frustration, groaning, "Ugh, you still don't understand me... you've never understood me... why... why now out of all the times possible? You... You don't realize anything about what's wrong with me until the very latest moment when it's grown too severe to simply just stick a bit of tape over it..." there was a choked sob, "H-How do you expect to simply confess and think everything will be okay when we date?! You've shown over and over again that you lack the ability to care for me properly... I-I don't want to date someone whom I know will just hurt me over and over again..."

"Okay... you're right..." Myungsoo admitted, feeling immense guilt still for continuing to make the younger cry. He couldn't help but let his voice waver slightly, "I'm too dense for any of this... so... tell me, what do you want me to do?"

Sungjong moves his hand, sniffling as he tries to wipe away the tears, "... One day."

'One day'? Myungsoo was confused as to what the younger meant.

"I'll... I'll give you one day... to prove that you can love me properly... and if you fail... I'm really going to move on this time with Howon."

Only one day.
