"How long do you think this will last?"   "I don't know. All I know that I want this to last forever."   "Forever? Like in a fairytale?"   "Yeah, happily ever after. What about you?"   "Happily ever after too..."   Clutching his head and groaning loudly, Junhyung's eyes opened and he blinked harshly a few times to regain clear vision.    Every since the accident, he kept having dreams.  Dreams that were different from his usual ones, dreams that felt so real and yet so distant. In these dreams, there never had been much visual images but only muffled voices that he was never able to identify.   However, he was pretty certain that one of them was his voice but he had no idea who the other person was.   Then again, if one of them was him, then what was his relationship with the other person? Why do they always share such loving, simple and yet, meaningful conversations?   What was that fluttering feeling he gets every time during the conversations?  Why was it that he was sure everything had happened before and yet, he could not recall anything at all?   He knew it could be snippets from the past one year of lost memories but no one wanted to clarify it with him.   His parents, Doojoon and Dongwoon, were tight lipped and always avoided the topic. Yoseob was the only one willing to hear him out. According to the smaller male, Junhyung had a girlfriend for a few months but they had broken up. Thus, the conversations could be with the ex-girlfriend.   Yoseob did not want to reveal who the girl was as the girl had requested for her to remain anonymous since Junhyung had lost his memories and "it was all for the better", quoting Yoseob.    Still, it was frustrating because during all these dreams, Junhyung had always had this feeling of elation and joy. There were no sign of sorrow or sadness. Does it mean he had not dream of the break up part?   Flipping over to his stomach, Junhyung shouted loudly into his pillow, trying to release all the irksome thinking his brain was doing.    Just as he was about to get out of bed to refresh himself, his phone that was laying by the side table started ringing. He picked up the phone and stared at the unknown number, wondering who would be calling at such an early timing.   Answering the call unwillingly, Junhyung frowned as he heard the voice of someone he really did not like.   "CEO Yong.. How are you?"   Junhyung scoffed at the man on the other line, noticing the sarcasm that was dripping from the seemingly caring sentence. "What do you want Mr Goo?"   "Have you taken the time to consider the marriage between you and our Hara?"   Rolling his eyes, he tried to remain as polite as possible, "I did and I find that Hara suits someone who loves and treasures her well. If she ends up with me, she would be bored out of her wits and neglected because work is my priority."   "Nonsense, Hara is good at entertaining herself and she loves a hardworking man."   "Well, I'm sure she would be able to find one who has that quality and on top of that, one who loves her too. I'm sorry Mr Goo but I have to head to work soon. It was nice talking to you. Take care and goodbye."   With that Junhyung hung up and slumped back down on his stomach murmuring, "even if she was the last person left on earth, I would not marry her."   ------   "Yoseob! The new company that I'm hiring to do up the renovation works at the north wing of our shopping mall is sending their CEO over to discuss the terms and conditions. Can you sit in with me please?" Junhyung pleaded cutely to Yoseob who raised his eyebrows, unsure if he should be honest to Junhyung.   For the sake of everyone, he decided to just be honest.   "Junhyung, please don't act cute. It's goosebumps inducing, and not in a good way."   Doojoon roared in laughter at Yoseob's straightforward remark while pointing mockingly at Junhyung.   Junhyung furrowed his brows and narrowed his eyes at Doojoon, "just because both of you share the same office room in this department does not mean you should eavesdrop on us."   Laughing even harder, Doojoon held on to his stomach, "you're so not good at acting fierce too. Oh gosh Junhyung, what are you good at actually?"   Ignoring the humoured man, Junhyung looked back at Yoseob, "come on, Yoseob, help me please!"   "Why don't you ask Doojoon to do it? I'm not the only head lawyer of this department. There's a reason why I'm sharing my office room with him while the others still remain outside."   "But the CEO of this company is really cunning and sly! He has the best materials and people under him but he is a complete wolf! I don't want to get cheated by him or be at a disadvantage or sign an unfair contract unknowingly!"   Yoseob sighed as he watched how desperate Junhyung looked, "fine but only this once! You do not interfere in our work allocation even though technically you are our boss!"   Nodding his head happily, Junhyung reached out and hugged Yoseob tight, "I know I can always count on you!"   Doojoon smirked and tiptoed to Junhyung's side and sneakily dug through the paper bag that he noticed Junhyung bringing in just now.    Junhyung caught the slight movement, gently released Yoseob from his embrace and whipped around, smacking Doojoon's hands hard while snatching the bag away.   "Ouch!!"   "That's for rummaging through my stuff especially when it's not meant for you."   Doojoon rubbed his sore hand and retorted angrily, "as if touching it would destroy it! What is it anyway?"   Junhyung coughed a little and both Doojoon and Yoseob caught the slight reddening of his face. Curiosity had peaked for both the lawyers and they stared at him, waiting for a reply.   Scratching his head in embarrassment, Junhyung murmured, "I bought some flu medicine and made chicken porridge this morning. My mum said that it would help make someone who's sick feel much better. So yeah..." With that, he set the paper bag at the corner of Yoseob's desk, turned away quickly and ran out of the office shouting, "oh and Yoseob, 2pm in the main meeting room later alright!"   Both the lawyers stared at their office room's door that remained open, their mouths slightly gaping at what had happened just a few seconds ago.  Doojoon was the first to recover and he cast a smug look at Yoseob who seemed to be having a battle of emotions within him.    "I REALLY wonder who this bag is for", he drawled while pointing at the paper bag.    Yoseob snapped out of his thoughts and headed to sit behind his desk, "you have it if you are that interested in it".   Doojoon grinned before hooking his finger around the string of the paper bag and placed it right in front of Yoseob, on top of all the work that Yoseob was pretending to be very interested in.    "I don't take what doesn't belongs to me. Junhyung had said that it was not meant for me. He left this in this office room and there's only me and you who are in here."   Yoseob grunted and glared at Doojoon, "what are you trying to say here?"   Rather than be intimidated, Doojoon just smiled and walked back to his desk, "I don't know. Oh and by the way, wear a mask and don't spread that flu around alright?"   Yoseob blushed furiously as he knew what Doojoon meant and he also knew that the paper bag was meant for him.  He could not deny the fluttering feeling in him when Junhyung was being so sweet and bashful just a few minutes ago.  He could not deny the tingling he felt on his skin when Junhyung had wrapped his arms around him.   Doojoon continued observing Yoseob from his desk and smiled, "Yoseob ah, you have to admit that Junhyung may have lost his memories but not his love for you."   The smaller male nodded his head and sighed, "seems like I would have to leave him earlier than I thought."   Messing his hair up in frustration, Doojoon stared at incredulously, "or, you could just come clean and both of you face that stupid Old Goo couple together!"   "They are not people we can afford to mess with. You know that."   "So you would rather they mess with your life?"   "They are too powerful and influential, there's nothing we can do."   "Then why do you, the main lawyer for CEO Yong, despite your busy schedule, accept and fight cases for the lower ranks of this company? Why do you help them in their own personal law suit for free? Why do you stand up for them? From what I remembered, you were the one who told me that justice and not power is one of the pillars of law. Where's that feisty and righteous man now huh?"   Clenching his fist, Yoseob mumbled, so softly that Doojoon had to strain his ears and when he heard it, his heart broke the moment the words entered his ears.

Chapter 16: Its 2:08 am and I cant stop reading your stories. I am hopelessly in love with them. I have to try and stop because I gave myself a headache from crying. You see I cry when Im happy, when I touched, when I'm scared, when I'm mad and I sob when I'm sad. After 'Strangers', Beside Me and its sequel, and this one, Ive been crying on and off all day. Sign of a good writer to illicit emotions from the reader. You must be an ecxellent writer. Going to get a little rest as Beast is appearing on the Golden Disc Awards in a little while. Ill be back tomorrow to read 'Strangers' yet again and something I havent read yet from you. Thank you, just...thank you.

Chapter 15: And here I am reading your 3rd stories. And I didn't realized its 1.16am already. I have been reading your stories since hours ago and now, its already midnight. I love your stories. On the first 3 chapters, there might be something I can handle but not after the 5-6th chapter. That court plot is something simple but its good enough to be wriitten that way since I acknoledge myself that maybe I couldn't even wrote one. So I should be heading to sleep and wake up early in the morning to read some more of your stories. Had been a fan of yours since the first story of yours. Will come back and wishing you good luck if you are having any on going story now. Thank you.
