I feel empty and depressed. Someone important to me passed away...😭😭

Ji Hyo's POV 

My eyes opened. I looked around my surroundings. It was dark around me, and I was in the living room. I could hear the tick-tock from the clock every second. It was 12:30.

(Haha...see what I did there? Okay, back to the story.)

I spotted someone sleeping on the couch and more people on the floor. I recognized the one on the couch is Junhyung and the rest in the floor with sleeping bags and pillows. However, I didn't see Yo Seob. Then, I realize I was laying on a body. I looked up at his handsome sleeping face.

I began to remember the last time I was awake.

*Flashback*

"Sh...I'm here, Ji Hyo-ah,"he whispered to me, rubbing and patting my back. 

My tears splashed onto his shirt. I gripped onto him and the blankets that were surrounding me.

*Flashback End*

I pecked his cheek."Komawo,"I whispered.

Slowly and gently, I got off of him. I covered his body with the blankets. I tip-toed out of the living room to go upstairs to my room.

Junhyung's POV

I slowly opened my eyes again. I saw Ji Hyo go upstairs.

My heart shattered when I saw her kiss his cheek.

Quietly, I got out of the couch and followed her upstairs. There was light coming out from her room which was opened.

I stood by the doorway, watching her back as she sat in her desk, peacefully drawing in her sketchbook. I gave a big cough. I watched her jump from her seat. She turned around, looking at me.

"Oppa...you scared me."

"Sorry."I smiled."Can I come in?"I asked.

"O-of course."

She left her sketchbook on her desk and moved to her bed. She leaned against the wall and patted the area beside her for me. I sat besides her, leaning my back against the wall.

"So...I heard that you're in a relationship with Yo Seob."

"Ne..."

Silence filled the atmosphere. 

"Mianhe, oppa,"she apologized.

I sighed."You know...you're my first love, Ji Hyo-ah. Even though you like Yo Seob, I can't stop loving you."

"O-oppa..."

"It pains me to see you with Yo Seob."I turn to her."I wish you can accept my love as well."

Ji Hyo's POV 

Mianhe, oppa. I can't accept your love. Your halmoni's the one who cursed me. I wish I can love you, but I can only love you as a friend.

Tears slowly rolled down my cheeks."M-mianhe, oppa. I-I can't love you like that."I saw tears falling down from his face. Suddenly, the images of the petals falling appeared in my mind."O-oppa...I think I'm going to die."

He pulled me towards him. I rested my head on his shoulder, while he rested his on the side of my head.

"D-don't ever say that, arraseo?"

I slowly nodded in his embrace. My eyes started drooping. I began to fall asleep in his arms.

Junhyung's POV

I took a look at her clock. It was 2:00. I laid her down on her bed, resting her head on her pillow and staring at her angelic face.

I sighed, remembering her words.

*Flashback*

"M-mianhe, oppa. I-I can't love you like that."

*Flashback End*

I'm going to let you go, Ji Hyo-ah. If Yo Seob ever hurts you, I won't hesitate to go after you.

I kissed her forehead and pulled back. I took one last look at her sleeping face. I took her blankets and tucked her in. Then, I left the room to go downstairs.

Yo Seob's POV 

I woke up to the sun's rays, blinding my eyes. Immediately, I sat up, looking around myself. I could see my bestfriends sleeping on the floor and Junhyung on the couch.

Realization hit me. Ji Hyo isn't here. If I remember correctly, She was sleeping on top of me. Did she disappear while we were sleeping?

I heard footsteps from the stairs. I stood up, hoping it would be Ji Hyo. I turned to the stairs, seeing her walking down.

"Ji Hyo-ah..."

"Good morning, oppa,"she whispered."I'm kind of hungry, right now. I'll be back inside in five minutes. Go back to sleep, oppa."

Slowly, I nodded. She left the house. Instead of going back to sleep, I stood over by the window where her rose is. I watch her soak the sunlight outside.

I looked down at the fallen petal. My hand brushed against it.

I'll find your parents and the witch, Ji Hyo-ah. Wait a bit longer...
