~ 2015 ~

It was late afternoon, Tae Hyung just returned from a funeral when he reached his apartments front door. He heard his step father yelling at his mother and his mother screaming back at him. 

He heard footsteps from beside him and he turned quickly and saw an elderly woman who lived a few doors down, "I'm going to call the police on you! Making so much noise all the time, I can't even enjoy my drama!" She said as she waved her phone around.

Tae Hyung lowered his head in shame and quickly went inside. They were in their bedroom, he could hear his stepfathers voice changing and it made Tae Hyung's fingers curl into a tight fist. He slowly stepped down the hallway, toward their opened bedroom door. He peaked inside through the crack and saw his stepfather slap his mother.

He quickly looked around and noticed the empty beer bottles laying around on the small table by him. He picked one up and pushed the door open. He stormed into the room, raising his arm and gritting his teeth. 

They both looked up at him and before his stepfather could raise his hands to defend himself, Tae Hyung smashed the bottle across his face. He fell back into the bars that protected the windows. Tae Hyung held tightly onto the top half of the broken bottle and stepped forward.

He pointed the sharp broken glass toward his stepfathers stomach, taking a moment to breathe. He closed his eyes before stabbing it into his stomach as deeply as he could. Blood poured out onto his hand and covered his white shirt. 

He continued to stab him  his body was becoming lifeless and was wavering. His mother was screaming and pulling at her hair, unsure of whether to get involved and stop her dear son from what had already occurred. It seemed too late.

Tae Hyung held his step fathers shoulder and held the broken glass in his stomach. He leaned his body against his and turned the glass. He could hear and feel his stepfathers breath against his neck and a chill went down his spine.

That was when his mother appeared and fought to pull Tae Hyung away from him. He dropped the bottle and took a few unstable steps away and watched his stepfather drop to the floor, covered in blood.
