God. How I miss her so much! Five years had passed since I left the Philippines and quit showbiz. After my relationship with Maja ended, I finished my teleserye, Nathaniel, first before going back here in Missouri to finish my studies and start-up my own business. Everyone was shocked of my decision but I had to do this after that one fateful night. I brought Ken with me here. We now own a basketball store here just like what we dreamt of before. I was scrolling through my Instagram account in my office when I saw Ate Portia's latest post.

Not a day passed without me being updated about Kim. Yes, I am updated about Kim. Try as I might to forget her just as she said, I know my heart will not ever cooperate. The picture was of Kim and Xian.Unfortunately, Xian is still pursuing the girl I will only love for the rest of my life. In the picture, Xian was hugging Kim from behind with his face on Kim's shoulder and Kim was holding his arm. I think it was from a mall show for their new movie. It made my heart ached. I thought of the times where I was the man before who holds her like that. I know that I took it for granted. And now, there's this man who is replacing me in my Kimmy's heart. I know they are still not together because I have sources back in the Philippines. They said that Kim is taking it slowly but cares for Xian nonetheless. I looked for more pictures of Kim but Ken rushed in.

"Kuya, we have to go back to the Philippines!" Ken said excitedly. 

"Why? Did something happen?" I asked

"Yeah. I just got off the phone with Rayver and he said that he's getting married next month!" replied Ken

 "Wait, wait, tawagan ko." I said as I dial Rayver's number.

On the line:

"Bro? Ano? Sinabi na ba sayo ni Ken?"  

"Oo, bro! Congrats! Naunahan mo pa ko ha! Lakas ng kamandag mo, Cruz!" I answered jokingly

"Sira ulo! Ikaw ba naman kasi e, ang bagal bagal mo. Hindi ka man lang gumagawa ng the moves mo dyan."

"Alam mo naman yung nangyari diba, bro?" I answered glumly. 

"Oo na, oo na. Pero alam mo, sa tingin ko ha, hindi naman mahal ni Kim si Xian e kasi pag nasa ASAP kami, tinatanong ko si Kim about sa kanila pero bro, wala e. Nonchalant lang mga answers ni Kim e. Diba ang mga babae dapat kinikilig sa mga ganun?"

"Ewan ko. Sana nga." I hoped

"Back to the topic bro, kailangang mong umuwi dito ha! Best man kita! Di puede na wala ka sa kasal ko!" 

"Oo naman. Babalik ako."

"Good good. I'm sure the whole media will go crazy pag bumalik ka." said Rayver while laughing

"Loko. Sige na. Balitaan na lang kita sa pagbalik namin dyan."

"Okay, bro. Magdala ka rin ng lakas ng loob ha para sa pagharap mo kay Kim. Alam mo na."

"Ewan sayo. Sige na. Bye!" 

I ended the call and traced Kim' picture in my desk. 

Lord, sign ba ito na time na para magkita kami ni Kim? Anong sasabihin ko sa kanya? Anong mangyayari? Alam mo namang mahal na mahal ko siya diba? Sana hindi pa huli. Give me this chance. 5 years had passed but still. Please.
