"I'm fine", Baekhyun murmured for the hundredth time. Chanyeol continued to fuss over him anyway, telling him something about shock and visiting the on-location doctor.

"Chanyeol, honestly I understand your concern but-"

"I'll take him", Sehun interjected. Baekhyun turned to look at him in shock.

Sehun caught Baekhyun's gaze and said nothing.

Chanyeol looked at the other camp leader and then at the large crowd they had around them.

"I'll have to go with you", he sighed gently and looked back at the other camp leader, "You're alright to take them all back when it's time?"

He nodded. Baekhyun just sat there with an unhappy expression on his face. I don't need assistance. I'm fine.

Chanyeol was the first to stand up, Sehun followed. They asked whether Baekhyun could stand. Of course I can stand, Baekhyun attempted to stand to prove his point. But his legs were far too shaky to hold up his body. He wobbled a bit before Chanyeol and Sehun grabbed an arm each to support him.

"I'm fine I swear, I just- I'm just a little shook up that's all".

Sehun rolled his eyes and thought you don't have to act brave Baekhyun. You were already brave enough to go along with this.

"If you're fine then you won't have to be with the doctor for long", Sehun shrugged a shoulder.

Baekhyun looked at the floor and said nothing. The stares of the other camp members were getting to him now. Chanyeol noticed the atmosphere and took control of the conversation once more.

"Right then everyone, I leave you in the capable hands of this guy", Chanyeol motioned to the other camp leader and smiled. Kyungsoo and Jongin stood together and gave Sehun a nod of encouragement.

Chanyeol, Baekhyun and Sehun took a separate path to the others, this one leading through the forest. I wonder how big this forest is, Sehun found himself wondering.

"What about our kayaks?", Baekhyun asked Chanyeol.

Chanyeol looked down at him and smiled, "Someone will come and get them later".

Baekhyun nodded and returned to silence. With Sehun on one side and Chanyeol on the other, he found walking awkward. They were supporting him and helping him walk, but they were so tall. His arms could barely reach to loop around their necks.

Why is my body betraying me? Why did I have to fall in? I could have avoided this situation.

Sehun glanced at Baekhyun out of the corner of his eye and cracked a smile. Despite the situation, he couldn't help but find this funny.

The silence began to feel awkward and Chanyeol took it upon himself to revive the conversation.

"So, other than this, have you enjoyed your time here?".

Baekhyun smiled and Sehun raised an eyebrow at him.

"It's been... entertaining", Sehun smirked.

Baekhyun looked up at him and narrowed his eyes; he knew he was referencing his embarrassing moments. Most of his own pranks had failed.

"It has been entertaining", Baekhyun agreed and watched where he was attempting to walk once more.

Chanyeol nodded, "That's good".

"Do you like working here?", Baekhyun asked out of curiosity.

Chanyeol didn't need time to think before he nodded, "I love working here".

"So there's nothing you'd change?", asked Sehun.

He laughed, "I didn't say that. It's a given there are some downsides to any job, but the pros outweigh the cons in this case".

"Like what?", Baekhyun asked.

"Hmm", Chanyeol looked up at the treetops, "It's probably the lack of regular customers".

"I thought this place was doing well for itself?", Sehun frowned.

Chanyeol shook his head and smiled, "I didn't mean it like that, I mean that the people who come here usually only stay a short amount of time and never come back. It when you make a friend here and never see them again".

Sehun hummed in understanding.

"That sounds sad", Baekhyun frowned, "I'll come back and visit you!".

Chanyeol laughed, "Thank you very much. I look forward to it".

Sehun wasn't sure how he felt about Baekhyun being here without him. It seemed... odd.

Baekhyun and Chanyeol continued to talk while Sehun tried to make sense of his thoughts.

"I told you I was fine", Baekhyun rolled his eyes. He seemed slightly himself now that he had some time to process. Both Sehun and Chanyeol appeared relieved.

"Do you feel up to going to the next activity?"

Baekhyun faltered, his eyes slowly looked at the floor.

"I guess that's a no", Chanyeol patted him on the back sympathetically. Sehun eyed the hand warily.

"There are plenty of things to watch on the TV in your cabin", Chanyeol reassured him, "If you wanted to stay there and rest for a bit that is".

Baekhyun nodded, "Yeah I mean- Yeah I think I just want to lay down for a bit. This doesn't mean I'm not fine though".

Chanyeol held up his hands in surrender, "I wasn't going to say you weren't". Chanyeol turned to Sehun, "Are you heading back with me to the next activity?".

Sehun looked at Baekhyun out of the corner of his eye. His presence seemed... smaller than usual.

"Uh", Sehun ran a hand through his wet hair; he was still soaked. And even if he weren't, he would have made the same decision anyway. "I think I'm going to head back with Baekhyun this time".

Chanyeol's lips twitched into a smile, "Alright then. If you two feel like jumping back into the activities, just check the activity guide and find us".

Sehun nodded, "Thank you".

"See you two later then!", Chanyeol raised a hand in goodbye and jogged away from Sehun and Baekhyun.

Baekhyun had been quiet for a long time. Sehun glanced down at him warily and wasn't surprised to see him glaring. Correction, narrowing his eyes in suspicion.

"Why are you coming back with me?", Baekhyun continued to stare at Sehun suspiciously.

Sehun ignored Baekhyun and walked off in the direction of their cabin.

"Don't ignore me! Are you following me again?".

Sehun glanced at him over his shoulder, "I'm soaking wet. Am I not allowed to go back and change?".

Baekhyun's lips pressed together. It wasn't an unreasonable answer. But he couldn't help but think Sehun was up to something.

Unbeknown to Baekhyun, Sehun was pressing his own lips together, but only to keep from smiling.
