What's In My Mouth?

YouTube Sensation [HIATUS]

I'M BACK AND I'M , I KNOW!

Guess what I did today? Synced up my phone with our new smart TV. I will be watching TaeTae’s new video on our 63” HD flat screen and I was 810% excited. I had the whole house to myself so the volume was turned up high and I already had YouTube up and running. I excitedly settled on the couch and clicked on Taehyung’s new video. “What’s in my mouth?” I read aloud, my mind immediately making a home in the dirtiest of gutters.

I naughtily chuckled at the idea of what they could possibly be putting into each other’s mouths. “Hola,” Taehyung happily greeted from his spot on the cluttered kitchen counter. I had to pause the video for a second to appreciate V’s beautiful face in HD and on such a huge screen, it was epic. I could see every crinkle and freckle. “As you can see there are lots of bags of groceries behind me.” Upon further inspection I noted that the clutter was, indeed, shopping bags from what I was assuming was the local market.

Taehyung giggled, “It’s a lot right?” he asked panning his camera over the span of the counter tops, “What’s bad is that I didn’t buy all this stuff because we needed food.” I squinted my eyes in confusion, “Then why’d you do it?” I questioned. “I bought all this stuff for the food challenge I’m gonna make my boyfriend do,” Taehyung responded as if on cue, “I was reading about the ‘What’s In My Mouth’ challenge where a person has to guess what another person is putting in his mouth while blindfolded and I want to do it with my Jung Kookie.”

“Ah,” I said as I nodded my understanding, “But why did you buy so much ?” Taehyung chuckled again, “I guess I went a little overboard,” he said scratching his head, “I just want him to get the full experience.” I watched his head perk up for a second, “Sounds like he’s home from class,” he hastily whispered, “I didn’t tell him about the video or the challenge so I’m going to go intercept him before he goes into the bedroom.”

Tae hopped off the counter and took me into the next room where Jung Kook was kicking off his shoes by the front door. “Annyeong-haseyo Jung Kookie-ah,” Taehyung excitedly greeted his boyfriend, “Don’t be rude to our viewers.” I paused the video again just as Jung Kook’s wide eyes caught sight of the camera. He was such a pretty little boy-rabbit, but he looked tired. I mentally thanked God for creating the cutest boys ever before pressing play again.

Jung Kook sighed, “Ah hyung, why do you always seem to have a camera in your hands when I come home?” he asked shouldering out of his denim jacket. I heard Tae chuckle as he zoomed in on his boyfriend’s precious face, “Because you always seem to come home at the right time,” he answered. Jung Kook couldn’t help but smile at the elder and that smile held so much love. Ugh it was disgusting.

I saw Tae’s hand pop up from behind the camera, “Come with me Jung Kookie,” he requested. Jung Kook gave a look of pure suspicion, “Why? What are you up to?” he slowly asked as he shoved his hands into his pockets. I cackled just as Taehyung laughed innocently, “Nothing,” we both said. He reached out and grabbed his boyfriend’s wrist and tugged him into the kitchen.

He shoved the younger into the closest seat and picked up a blindfold off the table, “Put this on,” he ordered, his deep voice making him sound extra authoritative. “Why?” Jung Kook asked looking at the eye cover in his hand. “We’re going to do a challenge, Kookie, and you need to wear the blindfold for it,” Taehyung explained as he zoomed in on his boyfriend’s skeptical face again. Jung Kook glared up at him, “What challenge?” he interrogated. “I’ll explain the challenge after you’ve agreed to it,” Taehyung promised.

Jung Kook glared even harder and it was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen, “Why does it feel like you’re giving me a loaded gun?” he asked snatching the blindfold. Taehyung reached over and pulled Jung Kook’s beanie down over his eyes and answered, “Just in case you can see through the blindfold.” Jung Kook sighed and pulled on the blindfold, “Why am I the one who needs to be blindfolded anyway?” he complained. Taehyung tweaked his boyfriend’s nose and replied, “Because it’s my YouTube channel.”

He busied himself with propping the camera up high enough to capture the full view of the table. I couldn’t see it, but I could tell Jung Kook was glaring so hard at his boyfriend right now, “As many videos as I’ve been in, it’s both our channel now,” he countered with a stubborn cross of his arms. I watched my TaeTae shrug and say, “It’s still my name on the channel.”

Taehyung walked out of frame to grab some grocery bags, I guess, and began to speak again, “So we’re doing the ‘What’s In My Mouth?’ challenge and all you have to do is correctly guess what I’m feeding you.” Jung Kook shook his head, “I knew you were trying to kill me,” he accused, “Is it because I sometimes kick you in my sleep? Or because I intentionally flush the toilet when you're in the shower?” I smiled at that, these kids trolled each other too much.

Tae laughed again as he returned and placed an armload of groceries on the table, “Why would I try to kill you? I’m not going to give you bleach, or dog food, or cranberries,” he assured. I’m guessing the rabbit was allergic to cranberries…weird. Jung Kook sighed again, “OK,” he conceded. “Good,” Taehyung approved as he reached back and grabbed a spoon and fork from the dishrack directly behind him, “There will be 5 rounds and if you guess more right than wrong then you win,” he explained.

“And what will be my prize?” the younger queried curiously. “I will buy you a new game for your PlayStation 4,” Taehyung promised. “The new Grand Theft Auto?” Jung Kook asked  pointing in Tae’s general direction. The elder nodded, “Whatever,” he easily agreed. Jung Kook clapped like the excited child I knew he was and said, “Challenge accepted.”

“OK, we’ll start with something simple,” Tae said as held up a jar for the camera to focus on. “Black bean sauce?” I read what I could from the Korean label. He grabbed the spoon off the table and dipped it in the sauce, “Say ‘ah,’” he ordered pressing the spoon to his boyfriend’s lips. Jung Kook accepted the spoon in his mouth. “Mmm, black beans?” the younger correctly guessed.

“Right,” Taehyung confirmed as a little score box popped up in the left hand corner of the screen, “See I told you it was easy.” He grabbed a bottle of water, uncapped it, and put it in his boyfriend’s hand, “Drink some water to rinse out your mouth,” he advised. Jung Kook nodded and drank the water as Taehyung flashed the next food challenge for me to see. “Pureed carrots and peas,” I practically gagged as I read aloud, “Yuck the worst baby food in existence.”

Taehyung shoved a big glob (practically the whole jar) into his boyfriend’s mouth. Jung Kook groaned in disgust, “Ew, is this baby food?” he asked around the gunk in his mouth, he could barely chew it. “Be more specific,” Tae ordered through a big , -eating grin. “You are so foul,” I laughed out with an amused shake of his head. Jung Kook swished some water around in his mouth and swallowed it, “Ugh carrots?” “Peas and carrots,” Taehyung corrected, “You were half right, so you get half a point.”

A big ‘0.5’ popped up in the score box. “Next,” Taehyung announced as he unpeeled a banana and proceeded to dunk it into a freshly opened mayonnaise jar, “So ing foul,” I commented. That kid was always such a prankster. “Take a nice big bite Jung Kookie,” he encouraged as he held the gooey dripping banana close to his boyfriend’s parted lips. Jung Kook bit down on the tampered fruit and immediately spat it back out and right into Tae’s waiting hand.

That jerk knew my rabbit wouldn’t be able to stomach that gross combo. Jung Kook vigorously took a large gulp of his water, “Who mixes bananas and mayo?” he questioned in pure disgust. I watched Taehyung laugh loudly and couldn’t help but marvel at the pure joy his face held for torturing his boyfriend, it was cute in a twisted way. His eye-smile and box grin was giving me so much life right now. How could someone so cute be so troublesome.

Jung Kook reached over and blindly swatted his boyfriend’s thigh, “You ,” he griped and pouted. Taehyung laughed some more and pushed his boyfriend back into his seat, “Why are you mad? You got it right,” he said. Jung Kook sighed and I could tell he was rolling his eyes, “What’s next?” he asked in exasperation. I closed my eyes and shook my head and watched Tae pour pickle juice into a small paper cup. “This one’s a drink,” the elder said placing the green brine in his boyfriend’s hand, “Take it like a shot, alright.”

The unsuspecting Jung Kook nodded and knocked back the juice. He coughed a little and threw the cup down, “Pickle juice?” he asked, the bottom half of his face puckering. “Ah good job, Jung Kookie,” Taehyung praised patting his boyfriend’s knee. “I don’t know how much more of this I can take hyung,” Jung Kook revealed with a wary shake of his head. He covered his forehead with one hand and fisted the other at his side and he looked like the little teapot. “Hang in there, Jung Kook,” Taehyung said patting the younger’s knee again, “We have one more.” Jung Kook drank some more of his water and nodded his acceptance, “OK, hurry up.”

Taehyung held up a jar of cinnamon, “Ah a challenge within a challenge,” I was very impressed. He dug tablespoon into the jar a grinned mischievously as he held it up for Jung Kook to eat. Taehyung silently laughed as Jung Kook tried his best to finish the cinnamon as it dried up every ounce of saliva in his mouth. “You didn’t say we were doing the cinnamon challenge too,” the younger croaked out, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down in attempt to swallow the offending spice.

Tae and I burst out laughing when a cloud of the spice flew out of the rabbit’s mouth. He was the cutest little thing I’ve ever seen, bless his little heart. Jung Kook snatched off the hat and blindfold and attacked his giggling boyfriend. “I’m sorry, I couldn’t resist,” Tae yelled as he attempted to push his boyfriend away. Jung Kook smacked the elder before he snatched another bottle of water off the table. In seconds he emptied the 8 oz. bottle of purified water down his throat to rid his mouth of any remaining cinnamon as well as rehydrate it.

He glared at his grinning boyfriend and shook his head, “You so bad, Taehyung,” he grumbled. “Be mad all you want, but you won the challenge,” The elder offered through a shrug. Jung Kook nodded, “That’s right and you are going to buy me the deluxe pack that comes with the custom controller,” he declared angrily. Taehyung held his hands up in surrender, “Fine I will blow my entire paycheck on you,” he easily agreed, “If you do the bonus round.”

“Why do I need to do the bonus round?” Jung Kook questioned in annoyance. “Aww don’t be mad at TaeTae, he was just having a little fun,” I whined to my television. “Don’t you need food to go along with your all-night gaming?” Taehyung questioned through a knowing smile. Jung Kook thought about it and sighed, of course Tae had a brilliant point. “Fine,” Jung Kook agreed snatching the hat and blindfold off the floor, “But I want Chinese food and pizza and cake.”

“OK, OK, just hurry up because I have class in a little while,” Taehyung hastily agreed. Jung Kook secured his double blindfolds and sat back in his seat, “I’m ready,” he said with determination. Taehyung grinned at the camera. “What are you up to?” I asked feeling highly suspicious. What was he going to feed his boyfriend? He had nothing in his hands.

My heartrate sped up as I watched Tae lean in. I hit the pause button so fast I thought I would break my finger! Was he about to KISS his boyfriend? Was I deserving of such a treat? I think I may be hyperventilating just a little. I felt like I was watching something forbidden. I don’t know if I could take this! “OK breathe,” I coaxed myself, “It’s not like they’re about to have .” I composed myself back to a semi-Zen-like state and pressed play again.

I squealed so loudly when Tae’s hands perched on Kookie’s amazing thighs and I damn near fainted when he kissed him! I paused again and stared at the kiss in all its  HIGH DEFINITION glory. It may have been the most beautiful thing I have ever witnessed, like I was watching a boy’s love drama. I closed my eyes and attempted to calm myself again, but when I opened them again I started squealing again because, , they were KISSING!

“OK, you can do this,” I told myself as I pressed play with shaky fingers. It was so beautiful, the way Jung Kook’s hands fisted in Tae’s shirt. He had no idea the kiss was going to happen so the response was instantaneous and very genuine. Tae's entire body language went from playful to something more soft and loving. It was short kiss (that was prolonged by my incapability of being strong) and Tae pulled away very quickly, though Jung Kook’s hands lingered.

Taehyung reached up and pulled off the hat and blindfold, “So can you guess what that last one was?” he asked running his fingers through his boyfriend's messy dark hair. Jung Kook blushed and dropped his head in embarrassment, clearly he was not one for PDAs and it was so adorable. He was so innocent sometimes. He didn’t answer but he did repetitively his pretty red lips.

I cooed when Taehyung hopped into his boyfriend’s lap, “You’re not gonna answer my question, Jung Kook?” he impishly asked as he threw his arms around the younger’s shoulders. Jung Kook’s blush intensified and he glared at the elder. “Don’t you have a class to attend?” he questioned before shoving the elder off his lap and onto the tiled floor. Taehyung laughed at his suddenly shy boyfriend from his spot on the floor. Jung Kook gently kicked Tae, whom only laughed harder. He stood up and mumbled out, “Jerk,” before stalking off.

Tae’s laughing got louder as he reached for his camera. He laid  back down on the floor and held the camera above his head. “I hope you enjoyed the challenge! Maybe next time I’ll be the one who’s blindfolded,” Taehyung said, his head perked up when we both heard a door slam, “Don’t mind him, he’s just a little shy. He doesn't like it when I kiss him front of other people, but I promise he’ll be back next week. Until then, annyeong.” He cutely winked and flashed his ‘V’ sign before yelling out, “Yah, Jeon Jung Kook, that was the worst tasting kiss ever! Brush your teeth,” and shutting off the camera.

I sighed happily as the next video counted down to begin playing. That may have been the best video ever. Just beautiful. “I think I should watch that video again,” I mumbled to myself in excitement, “Or at least watch that kiss again…and maybe gif it too.” I was in too deep and that was absolutely fine.
