He let out a sigh as he stood outside the door of the apartment.  Despite what he had said, he still found himself at the man's beck and call.  He could never ignore the man's request.  In actual fact, he was worried.  The man would only call him if it was a matter of urgency.

Without a second thought, he had driven to the address which the man had texted him.  He finally pressed the buzzer on the door and waited until the door opened seconds later.  He had expected to see the man's face but was taken aback when he was greeted by an unfamiliar face.

He frowned questioningly at the blond haired figure standing before him.  "Who are you?" he snapped.  "Where is he?"

He pushed the confused figure aside and stepped inside the apartment.  He glanced around and headed for the rooms.  He opened each of the bedroom doors until he found the man in one of the rooms, sitting beside the bed occupied by a boy.  He stood and watched as the man dipped a cloth into a bowl of water before wringing it out and placing it on the boy's forehead.  He frowned when he saw how gentle the man was as if he was afraid to hurt the boy.

Sensing that someone was at the door, the man glanced back and saw the young man dressed in an expensive looking black suit.  His face lit up with hope.

"That was quick," said the man. 

"I thought you were dying," replied the young man.

"Not me," said the man.  "But he might be."  He indicated to the boy on the bed.  "He's got a really high fever.  Can you help him?"

The young man glanced at the boy.  "Who is he?"

The man was quiet for a moment as if contemplating his answer.  "He's my responsibility."

The young man waited but it did not seem that the older man was going to elaborate any further.  "Don't tell me that the blond one out there is your responsibility too."

"Something like that," replied the man.

The young man let out a deep sigh before turning to walk away.

"Myungsoo!" the man called out, almost pleadingly.

The young man stopped and turned around.  "I left my tools in the car.  Can't do anything without them."

After returning from the car with his briefcase, the young man took out his stethoscope and got to work while the man stood by and watched anxiously.  No matter how reluctant he felt, he always took his work seriously.  He ed the boy's shirt and listened to his ragged breathing.  After determining the boy's condition, he took out a needle and injected it into the boy's arm.

"This should help reduce his fever quickly," announced the young man as he began packing his briefcase.  "He should be right but you might want to give him a wipe down and change his clothes."

"Myungsoo, thank you," said the man.

Though the man's words were sincere, the young man hardly seemed pleased.  "I don't do house calls for just anyone, you know?"

"What do I owe you?" asked the man.

The young man stopped what he was doing and approached the man.  He looked at the older man for a brief moment before gripping the collar of the man's shirt and pulling his head down so that their lips meet in a kiss.  The older man was surprised by the young man's actions but he did not resist.  Instead, he indulged in the passionate kiss that brought back memories of days gone by.

When they finally pulled apart, the young man smirked.  "Nothing, now."
