[Kai PoV]

I sat on the opposite corner of Key who gave me a weird smile. Between us Joon was poking Minzy who didn't moved  from one inch since I came in, while Yoseob was texting something. I felt unwelcome even if they were all my first and longest friend, I was seeing Key time to time, talking with Joon at least once every month as for Yoseob we often hang out together but Minzy ... it's a whole other story that I don't even understand myself.

To begin with I don't even understand why she is mad at me even if I had a big hint earlier today. When Key told me she was coming back, I was hopping that we could clear the misunderstanding we had three years ago, but the fact that I waited so long for it didn't helped. It's true that I could have called, but as stupid as it sound I was waiting for her to call after being calmed, she was always the one who came at me so I tough that this time too. At the beginning I wasn't worried but when a month had passed without any news I wanted to, but I couldn't do it, I didn't knew what to say and  while I was pushing it back to the next day it became even harder
" So, How is  Hyuna's grandmother ?
Joon stopped is teasing on Minzy who was probably clenching her fist really hard because she always do that when she is angry, and right now her expressionless face was a big indicator of how much she was pissed off.
- Oh yeah I told it to the others earlier, she is actually pretty okay, apparently she was really missing her granddaughter and pretended to be sick. Hyuna was really angry when she learned it at first, she even cried, but now it's okay since it's better than her really being sick
Yoseod nodded and added on a serious tone
- When people get older they tend to need more attention, like children
- You on the other hand sound like an ajushi at such a young age, you should be careful otherwise you will act like a baby later
- Well I don't think it would be an issue since he probably keep a baby face even then"
Joon and Key were laughing of there jokes while Yoseob threw pillows on them. In the middle of this Minzy didn't say a word, her silent treatment was even worst than when she yelled at me this afternoon. This is the first time I really don't know what to do. I have been in a lots of situations when I pissed off people because of what I say, but this is the first time I don't want it to be this way. She was the one who used to told me when I said something wrong or why people could misinterpret my words, when I was younger I really needed it. My parents always told me that I should never lie otherwise I would be a bad boy and  I felt that whenever I was thinking something I had to tell it otherwise it would have been lying. Because of that, people tended to stay away from me, except for her.

I think that the day we first met would be forever in my mind. Her family just moved next door,  and because of her bowl cut, round face and boyish clothing, I tough she was a boy, because we were only four, when our parents left us in the park to play together I didn't tough about it. At first she was shy and me cold because I didn't get along with the other child but we naturally came to play in the sandbox even if we didn't talked too much. After we made the biggest castle in the world, at least it's what it was in my memories, a group of older child came to bug us and destroyed it.

I was ready to tell them how wrong it was, because my parents also told me than fighting would make me a bad boy (I can feel how stupid I was back then), but she already jumped in and started kicking and bitting even if it was three bigger boys in front of her ... even back then she wasn't afraid of anything. As the good boy I was, I wanted to call our fathers who were at the opposite side of the park but a part of me didn't wanted to leave her alone so for the first time of my life I didn't obeyed my parents orders and went in to help her. In my mind it was like the biggest battle of the world when in reality other adults close by separated us quickly. I was grounded really bad for this but this was the day I gained my most precious ally.

After that we even ended in the same class so for the first time I wasn't alone and every time I was blurring out something useless she would have defended me. Since she was a really easygoing child she made friend with Joon at first and then Key who were already living in the same building and later when he moved in with Yoseob. I had a little bit of an hard time with Key who was too sensitive and cried whenever I was saying something out off the place, but then Minzy would  come and comfort him and then make me apologize, with time I was more careful and he was less susceptible and now he is even playing the diva. 

I was lost in my mind when Key asked me
"What are you thinking so deeply pretty boy ?
I didn't even tough about it before blurring out

Here again some of my old habits of talking before thinking. Luckily none of them were taking any of my outburst of truth at heart  because Key was laughing pretty hard

- Do you want us to play hide and seek or superhero ? If we do that I call first on Iron man, Kai can be Captain America, Yoseob be Spiderman and since Minzy is already ready to turn into Hulk  you the diva can be Red Widow
- You're definitely not smart enough to be Iron man beside once our crimson red headed girl will stop the sulking she would be the best fit for Red Widow
For the first time since I was here she turned her face at him to give him a death glare 
- I'm not sulking, I' m just taking the time to plan how I 'm going to kill you
He flashed her is best smile
- Oh really ? And what would be the reason of all this hate ?
