3. Forgetful

Perfectly Imperfect

*Going to go off topic for a few seconds XD*

Hey Guys! Have you guys heard Luhan’s new song?!?!?!?

It’s an OST for Miss Granny (a chinese movie coming out on January the 15th!)

I’m going to be counting down days! Can’t wait to watch it!

*I'm so jelly of the main girl actress :') *

*Cries a river*

*So jelly I could strangle somebody*

*I want a selfie with Luhan too! Cries another river and floods the house*

Haha let's back on topic.

Song of the Day:

Luhan- Our Tomorrow

Some parts of the song I really like (translated):

Walking towards the end alone,

Yet returns to the starting point accidentally

Until there is someone able to experience my feelings,

Don’t need to say, don’t need to ask,

Also will understand, comprehend,

Every moment is like forever

I look at the time which is running out for me to make a wish,

How I wish there is one more day, our tomorrow

Actually, the first time I met you,

I already had a special feeling

I’m going to start writing in second person! So the reader is Min-Ah XD

(At school)

“So we’re going to start the topic discovery and I want everyone to pay close attention…” The English teacher lectured.

You looked at the seat on your left where Kai was barely paying any attention while he stared out of the window.

You couldn’t pay much attention either; nothing was more interesting than the mysterious guy you just met this morning.

A werewolf hmm? And he’s so beautiful too…omygosh what am I thinking?!

“Min-Ah would you like to share what you’re finding more important than this lecture I’m giving?” Miss Park frowned.

The class stared back at you.

“The essay…hand in the essay” Kai mouthed.

“Oh! I was thinking about my essay…” you lied, digging into your bag to find the essay.

“Well hurry up and hand it in, we’re wasting time. I still have another 50 essays to collect” Miss Park said.

You panicked and continued to desperately dig through your bag, you’re cheeks reddening as the class stared at you.

It’s not there…argh where is it?! I’ve never left my homework at home before…

Kai started panicking too since it was his essay too.

He leaned from his table over to yours, biting his lip.

“I..i can’t find it Miss…I’m sorry…i left it on my desk at home…” you said embarrassed.

“Not good enough Min-Ah, I always expect more from you” Miss Park tutted.

“What did you do with our essay?” Kai whispered.

“I’m so sorry Kai… I really left it at home” you bit your lip.

“That’s ok…don’t worry…I’ll help you find it when we go home, yea?” Kai offered as the teacher was too busy collecting essays to notice.

You nodded and Kai smiled.

Wait…he’s going to help me find it in my apartment?! That means he’ll see Luhan!

“NO! Not my house!” you said a bit louder than usual.

Kai raised his eyebrow.

“Min-Ah! This is the second time you’ve interrupted our class today! One more time and you’re going to the principals office!” Miss Park scolded.

“Sorry Miss...” you stared down at your desk, cheeks red as a tomato.

Ahh! So embarrassing! Stop staring at my everyone! I'm sorry!

You could barely focus for the remaining of the lectures.

Why is she so weird today Kai thought, first she’s late, then she forgets our essay and now she doesn’t even want me to go to her apartment…she use to be so hyped about me coming over to her place…she probably doesn’t like me anymore…well it was only in Junior High that she liked me.

Look! She’s even spacing out again!

He shook his head in disapproval as he watched you stare into space.

After the lecture ended, you began to pack you’re belongings while most of the students stayed back to chat.

“Bang!” You jumped.

You looked up to see Kai who slammed his textbook onto your table.

“Let’s go” he smiled.

You looked back at him in disgust, “Jerk”.

“Stop PMS’ing Min-Ah” Kai laughed.

“I’m not PMS’ing, genius” You groaned.

As you walked home Kai noticed you was quiet, which as odd. Since you would always stop to buy taro milk tea, convince him to do homework with you at a café, go do extra shifts at work, eat icecream or do anything that would increase the time Kai was around as much as you could.

“You wanna do anything afterschool?” Kai asked, breaking the silence.

“No I need to go home” You quickened your pace.

“Hm? You normally want to stay out here for as long as you can” Kai stated.

That’s because whenever I was alone in my apartment I would think about my dead parents….when I look at the kitchen table I would see mum reading through bills or smiling back at me. Whenever the apartment was dead silent I would be reminded of my dad watching the television with me or trying to secretly kiss my mum when I was doing my homework…they gave their all to each other…I aspired to be like them…ugh why am I thinking of them again...i'm just an orphan...

“Min-Ah…are you crying?” Kai caught up to your fast walking pace and leaned forward.

“N-no” You walked faster, clenching your fists and hid your face behind your hair. Your tears spilling down your face.

“I’m sorry…I must have reminded her of her parents…” Kai said, patting your back and trying to comfort you.

You ran up the stairs of the building until you reached your apartment.

“Min-Ah I really didn’t mean to-“ Kai said, feeling guilty.

“It’s not your fault. I’ll see you tomorrow” You said, your back facing him, unwilling to show your teary face.

“I’ll be next door if you need me Min-Ah. Don’t push yourself too hard” Kai said softly.

You nodded and headed into your apartment.

Throwing your bag onto the couch you started sobbing into your hands.

Warm hands wrapped around and you cried into his chest.

“What’s wrong Min-Ah” the soothing voice said.

You hugged him tighter, he made you feel safe for some reason.

Why do I trust you so much…. even though I barely know you I feel so safe around you.

“It’s ok Min-Ah, don’t bottle up your feelings, they don’t like being shut deep inside. Just let it all out” Luhan whispered.

I wish I had parents like everyone else….why can’t I just have a normal life

“Nobody has everything, that’s why we need to trust our instincts and focus on what we have right now” Luhan sighed, patting your back.

“*Sniff* Haha, I have you right now. But that doesn’t mean I have to focus on you…right?” you joked and wiped away your tears.

“Maybe you should” Luhan said.

You looked up at him, he wasn’t smiling.

He looked into your eyes and sighed.

He can’t be serious you told yourself.

“Haha! Luhan, that’s the weirdest way to make someone feel better? Is that your new pick up line?” You joked and stopped crying.

"No", Luhan went quiet.

“I see you forgot your English essay too?” Luhan said, leaning on the kitchen bench and staring straight back at you.

You nodded and stood there awkwardly.

“It’s all because of you. I was distracted.” You complained.

“Me?” Luhan asked tilting his head to the left and chuckling.

“Yea, don’t act innocent!” you fumed.

“Min-Ah! Are you in there?” Kai yelled outside your door.

You froze and looked at Luhan who stopped smirking.

“Y-yea” You answered.

“Mind opening the door?” Kai tried to be polite. He was never patient.

“Hide in the closet!” You whispered to Luhan.

“Oh! Nevermind Min-Ah you forgot to lock the door” Kai said stepping into your house.

And it all happened at once.

“Ah! Min-Ah you finally stopped crying, I’m so sorry I for acting thoughtlessly before. That’s why I got you some taro milk tea!” Kai smiled, ruffling your hair.

“Great. That’s my favourite flavour.” You were frozen as Luhan spoke coldly for the first time.

Kai looked up and saw Luhan boring his eyes into him

“Oh, who’s this?” Kai asked, standing in the doorway awkwardly while looking back and forth at Luhan and you.

“The name’s Luhan, nice to meet you” Luhan introduced himself, stepping next to you.

“Oh …er….nice to meet you. I’m Kai” he said extending his hand.

Ignoring Kai’s offer for a handshake, Luhan put his arm around your shoulder.

Kai frowned at Luhan gesture.

“So what are you doing here-?” Kai asked.

“I’m Min-Ah’s live-in tutor” Luhan cut in.

You stared back at Luhan in shock.

I guess I have to play along…

“Yea he’s helping me with my studies” you smiled, hoping it looked as real as possible.

“I never knew live-in tutors existed…are you sure you’re fine living with that guy? Why are you suddenly having a tutor when your grades are so good?” Kai questioned.

Crap..

“She’s perfectly fine living with me thank you. And if you have nothing important to do I would like to be getting back to our lessons” Luhan answered swiftly.

Kai handed you the bag with the two taro milk teas.

“Two?” you asked.

“Yea, to make you fat” Kai said.

“Yah!” You punched him on the shoulder.

“Ow!” Kai frowned rubbing his shoulder.

“PMS’ing freak” He said walking out of the door.

“I wouldn’t trust him if I were you” Kai whispered.

“He’s really nice, don’t worry” You smiled.

Kai narrowed his eyes, “…don’t forget to lock the door..”

“Yep! Cya!” you said.

You watching as Kai walked away and locked the door.

Phew, I think he fell for it.

You turned around “Luhan-“

You stopped and moved back, Luhan had his hand firmly against the closed door and his face was a few centimetres away from yours.

"What's your relationship with Kai?" Luhan said, not taking his eyes off you.

"We're...we're just friends" You answered, looking everywhere but his face.

"Really?" Luhan asked.

“Y-you want a taro milk tea….?” You asked, trying to change the topic.

“Yea, i'm kind of craving a drink” Luhan said, turning around to walk into the kitchen again.

Argh! Who is he to give me heart attacks everday.

“Hey! Leave one for me!” You shouted, chasing after him into the kitchen.

“Aish! Two jerks in my life!” You mumbled.

“Hm? What was that?” Luhan asked, sipping on his drink.

“N-nothing!” You stammered. "It's going to be really tiring living with you".

"Not really, i'll pay for your rent, do my share of work, sleep on the couch and even help you" Luhan pouted. "I should be awarded best roomate of the year".

"No you're not! You're so distracting-" You started.

Luhan (in baby wolf form)  looked back at you, batting his eyes.

"Ugh..how can i scream at something so cute.." you sighed.
