Pie’s POV

As Nerd, Pei and Jane arrive I saw a young lad enter the room few minutes later, he seems to know where his headed as he look at Kim’s direction and a smile on his face was painted. I wonder if he knows Kim as I looked at Kim the young lad approached her and she seems not surprise at all may be they know each other. Hmmm… I wonder if his Kim special someone for he acts as if they’ve known each other so long. Kim grab her bag from the sit beside her and transferred it on her left, as I observed them Kim doesn’t seem to talk much but still she seems to be comfortable with him. After a few minutes of silence the lad faced Kim and talked to her then I saw Kim took off her earphones and face the lad at the same time looking straight to him, I can sense there are talking about serious matters as there face seems to express the feeling no one dares to smile. All of the students scram as the professor enter the room and diverted my attention to him as the class is about to start but until then I saw Kim looked in front and she smiled at me after noticing me but Jane also notice and wave to her as well as Pei and Nerd she just smiled back at them.

After an hour and a half the class ended.

Pei: hey guys were do you want to go? This is my last class how about you guys?

Jane: Yes, It’s also my last class. Nerd just nods in agreement.

Pei: How about you pie?

Jane: hey Pie as she waved her hand in front of me.

Pie: As I turn my head to answer Jane, Kim suddenly pops out of nowhere with his friend as I turn my gazed to them I was embarrassed she and her friend was smiling to us.

Kim: Hi guys.

Pei: hey kimmy who’s that handsome? All looking at them.

Kim; ah sorry this is Mario, my friend.

Mario: Hi. Then he wave.

Pei: hi I’m Pei the most beautiful in our girl gang. Then he winks at Mario.

Jane: hi I’m Jane.

Kim: this is Nerd, she just nods to Mario and smile, and she’s a silent type she whispered to Mario and chuckled.

Pie: hi I’m Pie. Then smiled at him.

Mario: Oh, nice to meet you guys.

Jane suddenly approach Kim.

Jane: so where are you going after this? Do you still have a class?

Kim: Ah this is our last class, me and Mario are going to hang out I guess? Looking at Mario.

Jane: Is that so, then come and join us.

Kim: where you guys going?

Jane: we don’t know yet. Looking at Pie, Pei and Nerd.

Kim: I know a place near here.

Jane: yeah sure then all of them nods.

 

At aunt In’s café

As they enter the place Pei and others are amaze with the café it feels cozy and relaxing. A middle age lady approach them.

Aunt In: Kim, Mario long time no see. I miss you guys then she hugs Kim then Mario.

Kim: Yeah aunt in I miss you to. You still beautiful as always.

Mario: Aunt in you looked great.

Aunt In: You two never change ha? Well Kim your mom told me that you are now studying at Rangsit University. Why didn’t you say it to me before?

Kim: I want to surprise you and now we will see each other often.

Mario: I guess me to. Nodding at Aunt In.

Aunt In looking at their friends at they’re back.

Kim: Aunt In this is our friends Jane, Pei, Nerd and Pie. Pointing each one to her aunt.

Then all of them said Hi and smile.

Pei: it’s a nice place you’ve got here aunt In, looking around.

Aunt In: thanks for the compliment please take your seat and I’ll take your order.

Everyone ordered there food and drinks.

Seating arrangements Mario – Kim, Pei – Jane, Pie – Nerd on a rectangular table

After a while aunt In and the waiter came with their order.

Aunt In: Kim I have your favorite here for you.

Kim: ah, thanks aunt in you’re the best.  She taste the cake.

Aunt In: so how was it is it good?

Speechless still munching her cake Kim gave her Aunt In a thumbs up.

Aunt In: so tell me about Mario and you? Looking at Mario smiling. Still together ha?

Everyone was shocked by what aunt in just said.

Kim: Hmmm… what do you mean? Looking at aunt In raising her brows.

Aunt In: Oh sorry, I mean you two can’t be separated ha? Until college Yam already left eh…

Upon saying the name Yam, Kim’s face turns to hundred grimaces and she stop munching her food and drink her milk. Mario then looked at aunt in and shakes his head to signal aunt In it isn’t good.

Aunt In: Sorry Kim I didn’t know.

Kim: It is okay aunt In she said and excused herself, I’ll just go to the restroom.

It’s at the back left side as she instruct Kim who is now on her way towards the back of the café. Kim just nods without looking at her aunt.

Aunt In sat at Kim’s chair facing Mario and they had some chitchat when Kim was not around.

Mario: Aunt In, why did you do that still shaking his head in disbelief.

Aunt In: Sorry I didn’t know that they haven’t talk yet, her mom told me they already had a communication but I didn’t know it was just temporary.

Mario: Yeah, It was I guess she is just too busy there that’s why. Then aunt In sighed.

Aunt In: Hay Kimmy, I just wish that they could contact each other soon, they haven’t been separated like this for so long before. Then looked at the ground. Mario just looked at his food and shrugged.

 

 

At the restroom

Kim’s POV

Kim enter the restroom and leaned in front of the sink and sighed heavily.

It’s been a week since Yam contacted me, is she that busy to forget to call or email me. We promise each other that we will not lost our communication, since we were young we together we are like twins we never leave each other. Until now what happen to you Yam? I hope your fine I missed you so much. Her eyes becomes teary remembering the moments that Yam and her were together she is her only friend since they were young for other children doesn’t play with Kim that much, because she’s a bit different, she’s the only friends she got until Mario came. Her reverie suddenly stop when someone enter the restroom, it was another customer. So she left to give the person some privacy.

 

Pie saw Kim’s sudden change of mood as her Aunt In mentioned the name Yam who is she, she said as she’s wandering who was she in Kim’s life? As she glanced at Aunt In and Mario. Pie reverie stop when Kim approached the table and greeted her aunt In.

Kim: hey! You two are busy talking about me ha? Raising her eyebrows to her aunt In and Mario. Smiled faintly.

Aunt In: How did you know, do you have some kind of crystal balls? Smirked

Kim: No, but I am some kind of a sorcerer, waving her pen at aunt In and Mario? Then chuckled

Pei: Sorcerer ha? Laughing at Kim.

Kim: I’ll make you a frog whispering as if casting a spell at Pei then smirked.

Pei: Oh that's good so I’ll find my prince charming and kiss me so I’ll be a beautiful princess. Smiles naughtily looking at Mario then winks.

Jane: In your dreams Pei and smirked. They all laughs.

As they continue goofing around a man at his mid-20’s approached Aunt In and whispered something then Aunt In sighed as she excused herself to Kim and her friends. Kim glanced around wandering what is her aunt’s problem. She saw her talk to another man outside near the glass sliding door at the back yard where the stage was located. As she turn her head to their table she caught Pie looking at her, she just smiled as Pie quickly turn her gazed away from her. Then Aunt In came to their table once again.

Kim: Hey aunt In what seems to be the problem? Looking at Aunt In worriedly.

Aunt In: Hay Kimmy… then she sighed my band vocalist is ill all of a sudden.

Kim: So?

Aunt In: There will be no performer to welcome the students for their first day here and there first day of school. You know Kim it’s a tradition here to welcome the new students and old students with a mini concert here in my café.

Mario: It’s not a problem Aunt In. smiling at her.

Aunt In: what do you mean? Wondering at Mario.

Mario: Looked beside you and in front of you. Then smiling like silly.

Aunt In: why? I only saw you and Kim.

Mario: Yeah me and Kim are the answer to your problem. Chuckled

Kim then stood up and it caught there friends attention now everyone was looking at them wondering what will she do.

Kim: hey aunt In you forgot you have a band members here then she winks at her aunt In.

Aunt In: looked at them and said Oh! yeah I totally forgot you and Mario have a band before. Then she laughs at herself.

Mario: Your getting old aunt In he teases her.

Mario and Kim gave each other a high five. Aunt In sends them at the back to get ready for their performance. After a while aunt In asked their friends to go outside as the performance will soon start. They sat at the middle so they can easily see they’re performance.

Attention everyone I’m aunt In as most of you know I’m the owner of the café.

Tonight we have a good and bad news to all of you guys aunt In said as she stands on the stage. First I’ll give you the bad news as she inhales and exhaled deeply. The bad news is the vocalist is sick so his not going to be singing tonight and the good news is we have a special performance by my niece and her friend. And the crowd went wild as it is almost full of customers mostly students and faculty members unwinding.

1…2…3… as Kim, Mario and other band members approached the stage. The crowd went silent as soon as Kim sat on the stool and Mario in drums.

She looks around as she sing with full passion. And look at Pie then at Jane then smiles.

Pei elbowed Pie as she looks at Pie staring at Kim with amazement.

Pie: What? As she look at Pei annoyed.

Pei: Hey chill mesmerized ha? As he smiles teasingly then suddenly spoke

Jane: What do you think Pie is she good? As she still looking at Kim and diverted her gazed at Pie who is shocked by the sudden question. Pie look at Jane confused.

Pie: Ha? Wondering what Jane meant.

Jane: You know Pie since we’ve meet I think she’s different and I like her. Looks at Pie. Pie  was shocked by what Jane just said, she know Jane like Kim but telling it to everyone is she that desperate she thought as she glance at Kim. Who closes her eyes as she sing.

As the song ended the crowd went wild and asked another song. Some girls are shouting, some are whistling to catch the bands attention specially Kim. Kim looks at Mario and signaling him and also to the other band members.

As Kim finishes the song some girls approached her some girls flirted with her and some gave her a tissue with their number and also some guys approach to her and greeted her. As for Mario he was also the center of the attention it’s not new to them since they use to play in high school.

Kim slowly walked to her friends table and Mario just followed her from behind as she reach the table Jane reached her and hug her. Kim was stunned and scratch her neck.

Jane: you’re so good back there she said as lets go of the hug from Kim.

 Kim: ah, t..thanks. Stuttering while looking at Jane who’s blushing. As Mario approached them Pei suddenly jumped to Mario and hug him and shouted as if he had seen his idol. Mario just shakes his head in disbelief. Then Nerd smirked at Pei’s actions.

 

Pie’s POV

I didn’t know that Kim was this good I thought see was a so, so singer for I never heard her play at the dorm may be she just don’t wanna disturb me that’s why. I hope to hear her voice again if she only sings at the dorm its kinda relaxing Pie’s reverie was disturb when Pei elbowed her and then suddenly out of nowhere Jane asked her of what she thinks of Kim. After the second song ended the many girls approached Kim and Mario Huh… those girls really shameless ha.

Alex the band member approached Kim then Mario and thank them for the performance he asked both of them if they want to come with them to unwind for a while.

 

 

 

A/N: sorry this story is lame for I don’t have any inspiration to write right now but I’ll make sure the next chapter will be much better… sorry again for this.
