Author’s POV~

The 10th sigh was heaved again by none other than you. Ah Young stared at you worriedly,

“What’s wrong with you?” you snapped out of your daze and turned to Ah Young, “Huh?”

“Never mind…” Ah Young groaned and puffed her cheeks.

“You’re acting weird…” Ah Young whispered. you looked at Ah Young, “What’s that?” “Oh

nothing~” Ah Young looked around to avoid an eye contact with You. You shrugged and

continued on sighing like there was no tomorrow.

*What can I do to stop her stupid sighing?* Ah Young curiously wondered.

“Hello?” A voice spoke up from the other line. You smiled at the thought and replied,

“Hello, oppa.” The person brightened, “Oh hey, ~~~~~~!” You couldn’t help but let out

another sigh. “What’s wrong?” Jong Hoon worriedly asked. “Nothing…just another 

meaningless day.” you muttered while sighing.

Unconvinced by your words, Jong Hoon tried to cheer you up, “Hey, how about we go

somewhere fun? Are you free right now?” “Oh…sure.” you answered meekly. “’Kay. Meet

me up at Lotte World.” Jong Hoon brightly ordered. “Okay. I’ll be there in 10 minutes?”

You answered unsurely.

“Nuh-uh. Too slow.” Jong Hoon commented. “Okay then…5 minutes?” You suggested. “Are

you aslowpoke?”

Jong Hoon teased. You furrowed your brows and pouted, “Yah!” “Okay okay! 5 minutes it

is then.” Jong Hoon surrendered. You smiled, “Okay. Be there in 5 minutes. Bye, oppa.”

You shut your phone off and ran to the destination.

“Haa…Haa…” You clutched your chest, trying to catch your breathe. Jong Hoon stood in

front of you, holding his laughter. “You’re late. 2 minutes had passed, slowpoke.” He

chuckled at his own comment. you lightly punched his arm, “Yah!” “Okay…fine. I can still

even wait if you’re 10 minutes late.” He sincerely smiled while You shyly smiled, “Aww,

oppa. You’re so sweet.” He smiled, *I can even wait for you forever if I could.*

You grabbed his hand, “Come, oppa. Let’s go play.” Jong Hoon softened and nodded. They

went to wait in a line.

“Kyaaaaaaaa!!!” You squealed in horror while Jong Hoon burst out laughing. They were

riding roller coaster to ease your tension. After 10 minutes of a fun roller coaster ride,

two of ypu went to sit on a bench near an ice cream parlour.

“I’ll go buy you an ice cream.” Jong Hoon stood up but you gripped on the hem of his

blazer, “Umm…I want…” “Cookies n Cream?” Jong Hoon guessed. “Right!” You laughed.

“Okay, I’ll go buy some.” Jong Hoon left. Truthfully, he had always known you favourite

ice cream and others like your likes and dislikes. He always cares for you since you had

your first encounter during middle school.

“Sir…?” The cashier looked at Jong Hoon weirdly. “Huh? Oh…” Jong Hoon snapped out of

his train of thoughts.

“You need to pay up.” The cashier said. “Ah…right. Here it is.” He handed the money and

left with the ice creams in both of his hands.

Meanwhile, You doze off into your own world. *Jong Hoon oppa is always there for me.

Today was supposed to be another meaningless day for me but…unexpectedly, Jong Hoon

oppa cheered me up.* You smiled at your thoughts.

“~~~~~~?” Suddenly, a warm voice spoke up, snapping her out of her thoughts. “Yeah?” Y

ou looked up and found Jong Hoon standing in front of you, holding two cones of ice

creams, “Here.” He handed the ice cream.

 You thanked him.

The two of you spent your time sitting on the bench, enjoying the sceneries. “Thanks,

oppa.” You whispered, smiling sincerely. Jong Hoon turned to you, “Hm? What did you

say?” “Nothing. Just wanna say that I love ya, oppa.” 

 You casually her ice cream and smiled. Jong Hoon softened, *I love you too.*
