Author’s POV~

A few weeks had passed and Jae Jin was starting to ignore people including his own girlfriend. It was Friday,

as usual, the first and second period would be ‘Self-Study Time’ for everyone in Chungdamn.

The students of class 2-A were busy doing their own things. Unexpectedly, this time, you wasn’t holding

any bread or foods but instead, your cell phone was in your grasp this time.

To tell you the truth, you had been waiting for your beloved best friend to reply to your message. Ever since

the day that the two of you accidentally met up with Jae Jin and Yuri, Jong Hoon had disappeared.

No one knew where he had gone to. Even you wasn’t aware about that. You anxiously waited for him to

reply but luck was not on your side. Jong Hoon didn’t reply any of your texts.

“How about you go visit his home later?” Ah Young suggested while stuffing a handful of chips into your mouth.

You stopped fumbling your thumb with the phone and shook your head in despair, “I’ve already tried it, Ah

Young. He was not there.”

Ah Young frowned, “Then where could he have been?” “I don’t know. I tried calling him but somehow my phone

couldn’t reach him either.” You heaved a deep sigh.

Ah Young looked at You sympathetically. She patted your back as a comfort. “Thanks…” You 

smiled while Ah Young flashed a sweet smile back.

*Where could he be?* You tapped your chin thoughtfully. You looked around for the possible places Jong

Hoon could go to. “Ahh…I’m exhausted…” You sat down on a bench and took out Your phone.

“4:32 p.m…” You mumbled to yourself. You had been searching for Jong Hoon all day. *I should try once

more. When I couldn’t find him after this, I’ll go home and search for him tomorrow…* You planned and looked

around for half an hour.

“He’s not here…” You sadly frowned. You had missed for Jong Hoon’s face. His smile, his support and all.

“Oppa…” You sighed and gave up.

On Your way home, you bumped into a familiar person. “Ah! Sorry!” You bowed continuously until the person

stopper you from doing it. You looked up, “Ahhh…J-J….”

“Stop it. Can’t you say my name properly? It’s Jae Jin for god sake!” Jae Jin rolled his eyes as he crossed his

arms. Hearing his statement, You let out a giggle.

“Hey…don’t you dare laugh. For you, I look like I was all happy and giddy but I am not.” Jae Jin shot you a

look. You stopped at once and covered your mouth, still smiling.

Trying to change the subject, You asked Jae Jin, “So…if you’re not happy and giddy, then what are you

feeling right now?” “Today is my bad day.” Jae Jin’s face turned into a sour look.

“Ah…I see.” Was all you could let out from your mouth. Jae Jin frowned, “That Yuri scolded me for

ignoring her…” You raised your brow, “Why would she do that?”

Jae Jin shrugged, “No idea.” You laughed. “So…I should go home now.” You pointed your finger towards

the direction ahead. Jae Jin nodded, “Fine. See ya.” They separated ways.

*Weird. We didn’t fight at all just now. Why is he being so nice to me?* You wondered but you couldn’t

deny that the fact that Jae Jin started to treat you nicely made your smile all night long.
