Author’s POV~

“What?!” You yelled in disbelief. One of the girls in their class nodded, “Yeah! Seriously! She stole Jae Jin’s

attention!” Her minions nodded angrily and some of them even went as far as cussing under their breath.

Ah young came just in time with her backpack slung on her back, “Hey, good morning—huh?” She stared at the

crowd, dumbstruck. “So…you really heard it right?” You asked, slapped your forehead lightly. The short-haired

girl continued, “Yeah! We heard it yesterday…they were alone together.” She emphasized the word.

“AHH! I can’t believe this! Our prince, Lee Jae Jin got stole by some wicked, ugly new girl!” The head of the group

yelled in frustration, messing up her well-tied hair.

“Is it really true?” you asked the short-haired girl, Nicole again. Nicole replied furiously, “Yeah! Wanna see 

some proof? I got ‘em!” She took out her cell phone and clicked the gallery folder.

“Oh…My…GOD!” The girls screamed, not believing the truth. Some of them cried and some of them were plotting

some evil plans. The pictures that Nicole showed were more than enough just to show that they really are dating.

Somehow, for you, you was unsure whether to feel sad and cried her eyes out or just keeps her cool expression.

You walked to Your seat and slumped yourself down. You bonked her head on the desk and sighed, ‘Well, at least he

would stop bothering me.’

“Hm~” Jae Jin hummed happily while you flipped your book roughly, obviously annoyed. At last, you turned to him

and asked, “Yah! What’s with you?! Humming and humming like a freak!” Jae Jin paused and stared at you. You 

thought that he would go rampaging at her but surprisingly, he didn’t. Shocked on his abnormal self, You turned

ahead back, “N-never mind.” Jae Jin continued his humming. You quickly buried your head into your arms on the

desk and groaned.

‘Ugh…this is more annoying than his old self!’ You thought. A few minutes later, the dreadful person and the most

unwanted person came in. She calmly walked to her seat only to find her desk got scribbled and damaged. She sighed

and looked around, fuming in anger.

The girls snickered and remained their postures, pretending like nothing happened. Yuri however settled her bag and

went to confront the leader of the group.

“Why’d you do that?” Yuri hissed in anger. The leader acted innocent and asked, “What did I do?” Yuri pulled the

leader’s hair and yelled at her, “I know you were the one who messed up with my desk so don’t you ever pretend that

you didn’t!”

Her minions quickly went to back up their leader, “Yah, what are you trying to do?!” A petite girl hissed and held

her arm in front of their leader protectively. Yuri gritted her teeth and was about to punch the leader on the face

when all of a sudden Jae Jin grabbed her hand, instructing her to stop. She shoved down her hand and went back to

her seat.

“Let me handle this matter.” Jae Jin bravely assured and went towards the girls. “Oppa…” The leader whimpered in

pain. Jae Jin shook his head, “Girls, please don’t do this. I don’t want you to hurt people. It’s bad.” They stood there

with their eyes starting to get teary. It was a shock for you to see the different Jae Jin. You never knew he

could be like that. “Oppa…so it is true…?” The petite girl asked. Jae Jin froze for a moment and sighed. He rubbed

the back of his neck.

Unexpectedly, You who was supposed to ignore it lifted up her head and took a peek at the scene. You too was

waiting for the truth to be revealed, with full of anticipation and heart-throbbing. Jae Jin managed to reply back,

“Yeah…it’s true…”

All of them burst out into tears and ran outside of the classroom, sobbing. You too felt your heart broke but you 

didn’t even have a clue why. ‘Huh? What’s with my heart? Am I hungry or something?’ You questioned herself.

‘Maybe I should fetch some lunch later…’ You thoughtfully suggested yourself.

Ah Young on the other hand, stared at you and then sighed. Jae Jin came towards Yuri, “Are you okay?” Yuri

looked at him or more like glared at him, “Yeah, I’m okay! Why’d you do that? I was supposed to punch that ’s

face and crushed it into pieces!” She hissed.

Jae Jin calmly replied, “No, you can’t. You might be called by the teachers or worse…the principal.” Yuri shook her

head, “I DON’T CARE!” and ran outside. Jae Jin sighed and went to his seat. His friends came to him.

“Yo, dude. You okay?” Min Hwan asked with a worried tone. “Yeah, I’m fine.” Jae Jin replied bitterly. “Why’d you

date her seriously?” Jae Jin shot him a look which made Min Hwan shrunk, “N-never mind…”

His other friend, Seung Hyun mumbled, “You should leave her or dump her.” He was the quietest person between

them. It was the first time the others heard his voice. Jae Jin glared at him, “Are you trying to ruin your very own 

best friend’s love life?”

Seung Hyun shrugged and went back to reading his book.

Yuri came in later. Alerted, Jae Jin stood up and went beside her. “Where’d you go?” Jae Jin asked worriedly.

“Nothing particular.” She answered and sat down on her place. Jae Jin smiled affectionately and patted her head,

“Let’s go home together, shall we?” “Hmph, whatever.” She answered bitterly.

Little did they know, You is watching them from her seat. You never knew the ‘Stupid Freak’ could be that 

sweet and affectionate. She sighed and went back to her slumber, ‘Oh well, whatever.’
