Chapter 24
Sehun was sleeping in his bed when the doors suddenly opened. In went Semin with a tray of food. She plopped the tray on Sehun’s night table and kneeled down besides Sehun's bed. "Wake up, bro " she lightly poked his shoulder but he didn't budge.
The girl frowned and used both her hands to pinch his cheeks and that was when Sehun winced in pain "Ah! Semin!" He frowned and shot up in the bed. Instead of saying sorry, Semin chuckled and pointed at the tray she just brought.
"What's that? Morning attack?" Sehun asked, as his gaze traveled between the tray and Semin, who nodded repeatedly. "What's wrong with you today?" The male asked. "Can't your sister take care of her amazing brother?" She asked, pouting a little.
Sehun happily stood up and made his quick morning routine before coming out to taste the food Semin made. With a little help of the maid, Semin was able to make him pancakes and chocolate milk. "Oh, our little Semin's going to be a great wife in the future”.
"Hope your wife will be as great as I am, then" Semin teased and Sehun chuckled, pinching the bridge of Semin's nose. "When are you meeting her?" She asked, curious. Normally, Semin wasn't a curious and nosy girl. But this matter was connected to Sehun so she actually cared.
"Next week. Why? Wanna go with me?" Sehun asked in a joking manner but Semin took it for an invitation and nodded. "Really?" He asked and once again, she nodded.
"Fine then, I'll bring you with me next week" Sehun assured her while she gave him the glass of chocolate milk.
It was not until the previous day that Semin thought clearly about the marriage matter. Though she felt bad for Sehun, she still didn't feel like going along with the flow. She wouldn't want to marry anyone because clearly, her feelings were already heading towards Byun Baekhyun.
Just as she thought about him, the maid came into the room, noting the twins that Baekhyun was coming by for a visit. As fast as she could, Semin patted Sehun’s shoulder before rushing out of the room, quickly making her way down to the living room, where Baekhyun was waiting. The minute Baekhyun saw Semin, he started to feel nervous and held the gift box a little tighter. It was true that he really loved Semin. But that didn’t mean that he wasn’t nervous or shy. Of course he was because it was his first relationship, after all. “Hi” Baekhyun stood up from his seat and greeted the girl with a wide smile.
