Chapter 22      "Baekhyun...what's the matter with you?" The boy's mother asked as she watched him smile and sing while eating. He looked happy. Too happy actually and his mother wanted to know what happened.      "Was it Semin?" She asked and Baekhyun looked up at her, his smile fading a little. He leaned his head closer to her and whispered "Is it really that obvious?". He wondered how his mother always knew whatever was happening with him. Whenever he was happy or sad, she always knew the cause without even asking.      "Well, yeah. No one makes you so full of yourself besides her. Tell me what happened?" She asked. Truth to be told, he wanted to tell her since she was his mother and his only relative. But there were things some people still wanted to keep for themselves. And this was one of them.      "That's a secret" he answered and continued to smile widely. "Geez, you're so cute" his mother said and shook her head lightly.       Baekhyun felt really happy. He couldn't describe how happy he was. After his little action, he went straight home because of embarrassment but once he reached his house, he started to smile to himself.      Jumping into the bed, Baekhyun twirled the blanket around him and buried his face into the pillow. The loud laughter was muffled by the pillow but his mother still heard him in the kitchen.        How could a little action like that suddenly make him so happy and excited. He felt like today was the best day ever and truth to be told, he wanted to kiss her forehead again and again.      His heartbeat fastened whenever he thought back about it. Baekhyun thought about meeting her the next day and maybe about it. Little did he know, things didn't go as planned because he ended up the one being teased.
     The next day Baekhyun came over to the twins' house. He bought lemon cakes along the way and this time, he didn't come to give the twins the school notes. Because it was weekend, no school notes for the day. And he was glad to hear that they also had a day off of their work.      Baekhyun knocked on the doors and they opened after a while. Sehun's face peeked out and he smiled when he saw Baekhyun standing there with a smile. "Come in" Sehun said and opened the doors wider.       Sehun had a mischievous smile on his face but Baekhyun didn't know the reason why. Sehun didn't often smile like that unless he tried to tease Baekhyun about something. "Do you, by any chance, know why Semin's been stuck in her room the whole day?" Sehun asked.     "Huh? Is she sick?" Baekhyun's smile suddenly faded and he looked worried. If the girl was in her room the whole day, it meant that maybe something happened to her. Was she injured or sick?       "Sick? Maybe LOVE-sick" Sehun smirked, trying to make the word 'love' as clear and loud as possible. And that made Baekhyun blush. So Sehun knew what happened the day before.      "What are you talking about..." Baekhyun ignored the fact that he knew what Sehun was talking about and looked away with a smile, which made Sehun laugh out loud. "I didn't know you were so romantic! Haha". "What? No... I'm not... It was just a little peck" Baekhyun defended himself because it was turning really awkward and embarrassing for him.     "I'll make it beat even faster... Muah smooch smooch" Sehun mimicked Baekhyun in a really high-pitched voice and it was embarrassing. "Stop it..." Baekhyun said, hiding his face in his hands.      "Ok, ok. I'll stop" Sehun stopped laughing and sighed. "Did you bring something for us?". Baekhyun nodded and took out the box of lemon cakes, putting it on the table. Sehun peeked into the box and his eyes twinkled like a little kid's eyes would when they see candy.      "That's our favorite, chocolate lemon cake" Sehun chuckled and Baekhyun smiled, happy that he chose the right flavor. "I'll take some, take the rest up for Semin, okay?" Sehun said as he grabbed two pieces, putting it on a dish which he ordered the maid to give him.      "Wait...what if she doesn't let me in?" Baekhyun asked. He thought of two scenes: Semin not answering or telling him to go away.
