Jinri

"Jinri!" i heard Taemin shouting from his balcony . i quickly got out to my balcony , already dressed up in my prom dress . all set and ready for prom . i'll just wait for Alex to come and pick me up 

"what's wrong?" i stand on my balcony as i see him dripping wet because of the sudden heavy rain just now. thankfully it'd stopped.

"Jinri you can't go to prom" he uttered in a hurry .

i was shocked , i didn't know what is he talking about 

"what are you talking about , Alex will be here in short seconds . w-why aren't you in your suit?" He started to climb onto the tree branch as he tried to come towards my balcony . I take few steps backwards and he lands right in front of me 

"Jinri you have to listen to me , you can't go to the prom . not with Alex" i was shocked when he asking me not to go to the prom , especially not with Alex 

"what?! no . of course i'll be going to the prom with Alex. what the hell is wrong with you" i walk back into my room but he followed me 

"Jinri , he's using you" i'm angry . i am .

"why must you ruin something Taem? can't you see how happy i am right now? stop saying that . he's not like that. he's a great guy. you just don't know him." i said , trying to hold back my tears . 

Can't he see that i'm happy . why must he ruin my night. I know Alex more than him , i know he's a great guy. i know he won't do something like that. he won't . 

"listen to me! don't go to that prom with Alex! he just want yo-" 

"stop it Taemin. you're just jealous because i'm happy with Alex and you're not with Sophie! you think i don't know how you tried to distance yourself with Sophie and clearly you're not happy like me and Alex. so please , just stop ruin my night , stop ruin my life" 

"i am not! for god sake Jinri , listen to me" 

There's a honk coming from downstairs and i know it's Alex. 

"don't!" he hold my wrist but i shake it off

"stop it Taemin. he's a nice guy. you just don't see it. it's my life . it's my choice to go out with him" 

He hold my wrist once again and this time i can't shake it off 

"Taemin just stop!" 

"fine .. just .. just don't come to me , crying and say that i'm right and you're wrong" 

He let go of my wrist , slowly walking backwards and left my room. 

I walk downstairs to see Alex with my parents , looking so gorgeous in his suit. "there she is" i heard my dad's voice . i tried to calm myself down and have a soft smile on my face as i walk down towards him . he got a smile on his face as take my hand "you look beautiful" 

"okay , picture time" my dad asked me to stand next to Alex as he take few snaps of us two .

"be safe guys" i heard my dad shouted from behind as we both walk towards his car . I give a smile to my parents and something caught my eyes , he was there standing at his own balcony , slowly shaking his head to me. 

Taemin

I knock on the door of Jinri's house and Mrs.Choi open the door , kind of surprised to see me at her doorstep "Taemin. aren't you going to the prom?" she asked but i shake my head no 

"mind if i come in?" i asked , seeing Mr.Choi at the back enjoying a box of pizza whilst watching football . "yes of course , come in" Mr.Choi look back at both of us and gladly ask me to join him
