Taemin got a phone call to an unknown number which made him full of doubts whether he should pick it up or not, it's not a number from England , which that's what he noticed. it took him seconds to pick it up , but he was a little bit too late when the call ended right before he press answer . 

It never came back for few minutes and his phone ring once again and this time , it took him a few seconds to answer the call. 

-hello?- 

-is this Taemin- 

He noticed the voice is definitely not a girl's voice and obviously it's a guy's . 

-yeah? who's this?- 

it was silent for few seconds and it made him thought the line got cut off but it didn't . 

-it's Jongin- 

"hi , i'm here for Mr.Kim , Kim Jongin" said Taemin when he arrived at the hospital in Paris. it took him a while to get there just for Jongin because he had to get the train in an hour because it's the last train back to Paris for today. 

"yes , his room is .. 120" the nurse said to him and he simply thanked her before searching for his room 

It was kind of shocked him when he received a call from Jongin when he never give his number to him , he thought maybe Jinri had given him his number or something. when Jongin said he was in the hospital , it was totally unexpected and the thought of him being never in his mind . 

Jongin looks fine 

That's what he thought about Jongin. his voice was husky and he coughed few times when he was on the phone to Taemin. he said he wanted to see him and it's about Jinri , either way , he really need to come over because he can't . he can't get out from the hospital . that's what Jongin had told him . so he agreed . 

knock knock

Taemin came in to a dim light room , it was silence and he thought Jongin is asleep but he was wrong , he didn't . Taemin walk in to see him in the bed with cover all over his body because it's kind of cold here today , tonight in Paris. even Taemin had to wear thick clothes to come over here. he noticed something about Jongin, he's pale. that lips that Jinri always worried about is even more paler . 

Jongin saw Taemin and asked him to turn on the lights , so he did . Jongin give a simply smile before asking him to sit on the chair. Taemin was lost in words , he is sick , obviously he is sick and Taemin saw it with his own eyes but he never know what it was. he didn't ask , he was .. scared somehow. did Jinri know about this? he thought

"don't be surprised. i had enough with that kind of reaction when they see me" Jongin murmured so faintly as Taemin take a sit next to him. 

"sorry" Taemin said but Jongin shake his head no , cough a little. 

"sorry if i ask about your sic-" 

"it's leukemia.." he answered without letting him finish his question. he knew. 

"Jinri?" Taemin look at him , knowing how sick he is even without asking anybody

"she knew.. she knew even before she left , she noticed my pale lips.." he said before turning to his left to Taemin . 

"anyways .. thanks for coming . i know it's hard to get here , Paris is not just few steps away from London anyways" he simply chuckle with his husky voice , Taemin just smile before shaking his head no to him

"it's fine" he look at him , noticed how hard he is to breathe at some point
