Hyomin is just staring at the window while Eunjung is driving, nobody dares to talk.

“ Crap “ Eunjung hissed when they got stuck in a traffic jam, but Hyomin didn’t hear it cause she was busy convincing herself if these are all real.

Eunjung looks at Hyomin, then suddenly her eyes travel down the younger girl’s legs, and she can’t help but feel erted. After all, Hyomin is one of the iest girl in korea. She takes off her jacket and wraps it around Hyomin’s legs, and that got her attention.

“ I’m ok. “ Hyomin is about to give back the jacket but Eunjung stops her

“ Well, I’m not. so put it back “

Hyomin didn’t get what Eunjung’s trying to imply but she just did what the older girl says.

“ Where are we going anyway ? “ she asks the older girl

“ to my cousin’s house . “ the older girl replies

“ Eunjung, why are you doing this ?” Hyomin says, this time she’s looking at Eunjung.

“ why did you say yes to Qri ? Do you really like her ? “

“ I asked you first tsk. “ Hyomin mumbles.

“ Do you love her ? “ Eunjung looks into Hyomin’s eyes,

“ I do…………but not in a romantic way, she insisted that she’ll wait for me…. and I can’t  refuse her.. “  Hyomin answers honestly.

“ Do- D-o you like someone else ? “

Hyomin didn’t answer her right away. 

“ Hey, you still with me ? “ Eunjung waves her hands infront of Hyomin’s face.

“ Ne, I do. “ Hyomin hesitates for a while, but she takes a deep breath and………………

For the past 23 years of Eunjung’s life, her heart had never beats as fast as this moment. She feels like her heart wants to rip her chest open.

“ W-why…why didn’t you tell me this earlier ? “ She asks again.

“ What for ? Would it make sense ? Would you have stopped waiting for Jiyeon ? Would you have said you love me too ? ---“ Hyomin rant.

“ Yes!---“ Eunjung answers without thinking,

Hyomin looks at her with a shock expression.

“ I mean, I guess so, maybe….” She added

“ maybe ? ….maybe if Jiyeon weren’t here ? . How can I ever compete with her, you have been waiting for her for six years, while I’m just a nobody to you “

“ You know that’s not what I mean…..  just please, be with me in this vacation. I know this is too much for you…… “

“ Why Eunjung ? “

“ Cause eversince I saw you with Qri, I started questioning myself if I really made the right decision with Jiyeon….  And when you said that I’m the one you like, my heart never beats that fast as I am with Jiyeon…. And that matters right ? Isn’t that worth considering? “

Hyomin’s head is trying to process everyrhing that she’s hearing, then they hear a car horning at them, Eunjung starts driving again. Hyomin rests her head on the window and closes her eyes, she wants to get out of the car cause of the awkwardness but she can’t.

When they got into their destination, Eunjung looks at the sleeping girl beside her and takes a picture of her before she wakes her up.

“ you look so innocent when you’re asleep “ she says to herself and lig
