Kyuhyun’s POV

Ryeowook was getting discharged today! The members wanted to do a surprise for him and we eventually decided to cook some of Ryeowook’s favourite food. Ryeowook doesn’t have much appetite these days but I bet he’d like to eat at least some of his favourite food after having to eat the disgusting food the hospital served him.

Some of the members were busy helping to prepare the ingredients, cutting and dicing, some of them deciding to do the work in the living room when the kitchen became too full. It was nice that everyone was here. Even Yesung managed to take a day off from army and came down. He initially wanted to surprise Ryeowook at the hospital but his parents called and said that they’d want to fetch Ryeowook.

As usual, the members never let Heechul and I near the kitchen or even touch anything that had to do with the word kitchen. But… I was starting to get hungry and putting my laptop aside, I strolled into the kitchen hoping Sungmin wouldn’t hit me with the spatula again. Sungmin and Shindong were busy laughing about something and I took this chance to steal a piece of chicken wing my hyung had prepared.

“YAH!”

Ouch! I rubbed my head while the other hyungs laughed at me. Sungmin glared at me and pointed his spatula towards me, warning me quietly. I wasn’t scared of my hyungs, hell they were scared of me! But Sungmin, when he was in the kitchen… Well… That was a whole different story.

“Hyung, when is Ryeowook getting back?” I whined. “I’m starving!”

“Soon, Kyu. Geez.” Sungmin rolled his eyes. “You’re such a baby. Go and help me bring those cupcakes to the front.”

“Araso.”

“And if I find out you s any into your mouth, this spatula is going down your throat.”

I laughed and carried the plate to the front table and snickered, taking one of the cupcakes and gobbling it down in just ten seconds. That was how hungry I was, ladies and gentleman. Zhou Mi saw me and he only shook his head, sighing. I sat next to Kangin and Heechul who were busy marinating meat.

“Hyungs, you know, I’ve been thinking.” I said. “Can Ryeowook move down to our dorm?”

Heechul jumped from his seat. “What??”

“No way!” Donghae shouted on the other side of the house. “He’s staying with us!”

“Aw come on, hyung.” I pouted. When the hyungs saw me pouting, they knew that I really wanted this. The evil magnae rarely pouted. “Wookie mentioned that he missed rooming with me.”

“Wookie actually mentioned that he missed all of us living together, Kyu.” Eunhyuk corrected me. “Not just rooming with you.”

“Poor kid.” Kangin sighed.

“He must be lonely.” Yesung guessed.

“Then…. Should we?” Donghae asked. “Should we move back in together again?”

“To where? Here? It’s going to be crowded as hell, Hae.” Shindong pointed out. “We’ve got at least 11 people now.”

“This house will probably explode if all 11 of us stay here.” I said and then sighed. “I just wanted to give Wookie what he wanted.”
