Description
A wolf has only one mate and they are destined to be with them until the last time the sun's rays warm the Earth. They are feral beasts, only calmed by the presence of said mates, and even in those cases, only for their own pleasure and not for other purposes.
Practically, a wolf's life revolves around their mate, as they cater to their needs like servants, uncaring towards anyone else.
Or so the legend says. Seunghyun doubts that he would ever bow down at one's feet just because of what he had been told. He is powerful, quick and loved. He lacks nothing but a person to calm him down.
But this person is far away and he doesn't even care if they don't meet.
Or so he thinks until the day he finds them.
Foreword
It's him.
A deep voice growled in his head, causing him to snap back at it with a roll of his eyes. How could that thing be him? It was a small, flimsy human with mismatched eyes and dirty clothes. Sure, its smell was glamorous and its gaze alluring, but... it was just a human. Like many others.
Claim him, now...
The voice in his head was snarling now and Seunghyun cared not about it, thinking that his animalistic part had finally gone mad. He didn't want to associate himself with such a filthy mundane being. He scoffed as he took a few steps towards the skinny form of the human and smirked when it whimpered in fright, eyes quickly filling with salty tears from fear. However Seunghyun's victorious joy only lasted until the human started choking on thin air, blood rapidly dripping from his chin.
That was the moment when his instincts kicked in. He was suddenly there, holding up the tiny, shivering frame with firm arms. Hushing it slightly as pure worry flashed in his eyes.
We have to save him.
For once he agreed with the frantic voice in his head as he struggled to make the boy look at him at least, seeing how those stunning, gold and blue eyes of his were so unfocused and dull.
"It's okay..." he murmured but for the first time in his life, he wasn't sure if he had just told the truth.
