UnequivocalJiyong smiled weakly at his mate when Seunghyun handed him a box of peach juice."Thanks." he said softly as he took it, slowly bringing the straw to his mouth."The doctor said I have to stay for a week at least..."
"I know." The wolf replied with a sigh. It was the next morning, still early but they were both awake, craving to be closer to each other. Despite how the elder was mad at his mate - and himself as well in a way - he couldn't help but want to make sure that the human was alright, that his gorgeous Jiyong was recovering well.
"Seunghyun, look..." Jiyong started, a few drops of juice trickling down his jaw."I had no idea that saying stuff like that is bad. So I'm sorry," he continued, lips curling into a bitter smile."I promise to watch my mouth, just forgive me."
Why the hell is he apologizing? Seunghyun's wolf growled in pure anger yet the creature showed none of it. For some reason, he was somewhat pleased that the younger had admitted that in fact, he had been at fault. A pang of guilt hit him as he noticed a few tears in the younger's eyes though, so he hurried to wipe them away. Even though the clear, cold droplets had disappeared against his skin, the guilt did not.
It actually get worse.
"It's alright, everyone makes mistakes." The wolf said in the end, carefully planting a kiss on the younger's temple."You still belong to me, even if you said something stupid. Just worry about recovering, okay?"
Jiyong nodded slightly, his smile broadening a little."Thanks, Hyunnie."
"It's nothing, babe." Seunghyun chuckle and ruffled the boy's hair a little."I have to go now for a while, okay? My mother called that my father was back from his patrol and he had found something interesting so I should go, too."
"Okay." Jiyong mumbled sadly, looking away for a few moments."Say hi to them for me!" he added as already, his mate was leaving the room.
Jiyong new very well that he hadn't said anything that wrong... He was just used to being treated like this already. He knew well that the best thing to do in such situations was to say sorry even though he had nothing to feel bad for. He was a little scared about Seunghyun leaving him though; it was obvious that the wolf could have had anything and anyone he wanted...
