Our Love Contract
“Does this make any sense?”
Yonghwa widens his eyes when he receives a call from his manager that morning.
“Baseball stadium?”
He heard a big laugh from the other line.
“Eyy hyung. Don’t tease me.”
“Now I am sure you are widely awake right?”
“I am but are you serious? The stadium thing?”
“Of course not Yong. Only 200 lucky fans will be there in your wedding reception. And it will be held in the Melody Wedding Hall.”
Yonghwa let out a relief sigh.
“You scared me hyung.”
Yonghwa’s manager chuckles.
“I’m going to fetch you. You have to go to the boutique. Your suits are ready.”
Yonghwa grins.
“Hyung, will Shin be there too?”
“No. She went yesterday.”
“Mwo?”
“Wae? Didn’t she tell you?”
Yonghwa pouts.
“I still can’t see her?”
“Three days to go Yong. You did great this past week.”
Yonghwa sighs.
“I’ll get ready.”
“Okay. I’ll fetch you in 5 minutes.”
“Deh hyung.”
Yonghwa took Shinhye’s picture on the table next to his bed and give it a smooch.
“Three days to go.”
He smiles and grabs his towel before he whistle on his way to the bathroom.

The wedding hall was ready.
The tables and chairs were ready.
The wedding planners were giving their last touch to makes the winte wonderland wedding reception of Yonghwa and Shinhye happens.
“Are you nervous?”
Shinhye shakes her head.
“Can I say I’m excited Jinyoungie?”
“You can. Who can resist the hot Yonghwa?”
Shinhye giggles while her stylist grooms her hair.
“Still fangirling over my husband?”
She asks in a teasing tone.
“Yes. Still fangirling over his voice and face. I think my baby will be his fan too.”
Jinyoung utters while she caresses her still flat stomach.
“Your oppa must be having a tough time.”
“He is not Shinnie ah. He loves Yonghwa’s songs too.”
Shinhye nods.
“I really missed him. Haven’t seen him since last two weeks.”
“Two weeks? Wae?”
“Tradition.”
Shinhye sighs.
“Yah. You will see him in a while. Cheer up.”
“That’s why I say I’m excited Jinyoungie. After two weeks.”
“Yeh yeh. By the way, where is Jimin ssi?”
“I was told that she is getting ready too. Maybe she will be here in a while.”
Jinyoung nods and sits on the couch.
“Hongki takes longer time today.”
Shinhye said when she finally done with her hair.
“His wife is on her 5th month. Maybe she still undergoes her morning sickness?”
“Don’t know Shin but most women only suffers from it during the forst trimester.”
“Ah chinca?”
“Deh. I read pregnancy article. My husband bought some too. We are excited.”
“Wonder if I will join you soon?”
Shinhye said with a tint of blush.
“Aigoo. Did you just blush? Since when are you showing this side to me?”
Jinyoung laughs and gesturing that she will answer her phone when it’s ring before she walks out of the room.
“Let’s go with the final touch Shinhye ssi.”
“Okay unni.”
Shinhye sits on the chair and let the stylists do their work.

“I wish Haru is two or three right now.”
“Wae noona?”
“So that she can be the flower girl.”
Yunhee exclaimed excitedly.
“Kenchana noona. We planned to have no flower girls.”
“Intended or you can’t find one?”
“Ani. It’s more convenient. To avoid crying flower girls.”
Yonghwa chuckles while fixing his bow tie.
“How do I look?”
He asks Yunhee who was fixing Haru’s butterfly hair band.
“Do you need to ask? You are perfect Yongie.”
Yunhee smiles proudly.
“Finally my baby brother is getting married. It feels like it’s just yesterday that you whine so that I call appa.”
“To buy me a new electric guitar.”
Yonghwa continues with a small laugh.
“Right.”
Yunhee said and smiles.
“How do you feel right now?”
“Nervous?”
He said with a grin.
“I can see that.”
Yunhee smiles.
“I think oppa is this nervous too?”
“Hyung is worse noona. He throws up several times due to nervousness.”
Yonghwa laughs.
“We thought he would faint from dehydration but he was good. Walking straight ahead to the altar when mom calls him out.”
“He told me that he was nervous but he skips that part. Poor my yeobo.”
Yonghwa smiles as he reminiscing the moment Yunhee got married.
He was happy and sad at the same time.
He was close with Yunhee and he always spends time with her at home.
After Yunhee’s marriage, he feels alone.
That is when he moved out to live with his manager.
“You should go out now Yongie. Where is Jungshin?”
“He is in the next room.”
“I’ll ask him to come in neh.”
Yunhee walks to Yonghwa and kisses his cheek.
“Good luck Yong. Mom should say this to you but since your guests are so overwhelming, I’ll do the honor. After you utter the word ‘I do’, remember that you are willing to take every single thing about your marriage on your shoulder. No matter how heavy the problem occurs; you must not give up. Be a man, do everything you can to make her happy neh.”
“Gomawo noona. I’ll keep that in mind.”
Yunhee pats him with her right hand.
“Ottoke? I think I’m gonna cry.”
Yonghwa turns solemn on his sister’s word.
“Don’t noona. I’ll cry too.”
“Uljima uljima. I won’t cry. Haru is here too.”
Yunhee gives a wide smile to Yonghwa before she shifts Haru position on her waist.
“Wait a bit. Jungshin will be here in a moment.”
“Deh noona.”
Yonghwa kisses Yunhee and Haru’s cheek before they went out of his room.
“This is it. You will be mine Shin.”
Yonghwa blew out his nervousness and plant a smile on his face.
He turns to the door when Jungshin walks in and straighten his suit once again before he pat his chest and starts to walk into the wedding hall.

Shinhye grips the bouquet tightly.
We can see her fingers turns pale on her action but it’s common; she is feeling it now; the nervous feels of a bride.
The wedding hall was silent.
All attention was on her.
Why does she agree on walking alone in the first place?
Over confident?
Shinhye wanted to knock her head right now and there when she feels her chest tighten.
She is so nervous.
Sweat starts to form on her forehead.
She feels it hard to breath.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Shinhye gives her bouquet one last grip before she finally walks along the aisle accompanied by the music.
She smiles.
Finally smile since she stood at the end of the hallway.
There are a lot of guests.
Most are family and friends; media and lucky fans.
She threw a smile to the lenses.
She smiles proudly when she remember that she was walking to Yonghwa.
She can see him smiling from afar.
“How I wish I can just run to him.”
She thought giggling.
Everyone can see her nervousness changes to an excitement because she wears no veil.
“No veil allowed.”
Yonghwa said when they were picking the wedding outfit.
She smiles when she steps on the white roses on the floor.
The wedding hall is beautiful.
“Winter wonderland.”
Was also Yonghwa’s idea.
“Shouldn’t I be the one who pick it Yongie? I'm the bride.”
His pout makes her surrender and goes with his choice.
Indeed he chose the best.
She loves how the hall was decorated.
She feels like she was in some sort of fairytales.
Her pace was slow and steady.
Jimin joins her when she is about ten steps from the altar; holding her bouquet for her and walks behind her.
She keeps her eyes on Yonghwa who was smiling like a fool since she walks in from the door.
Shinhye took his hand which he kisses hers right away.
“Oh how I miss you.”
She heard him whisper.
“I miss you too.”
She mouthed and gives him the sweetest smile she can.
Yonghwa waste no more time and face the priest when Jungshin steps down from the altar; leaving him, Shinhye and the priest.
The priest said the things he always said in wedding before he finally asks them the sacred line.
“Jung Yong Hwa ssi, will you take this lady here to be your wife?”
“I do.”
He answers right away which earns laughter from the guests.
Shinhye smiles.
The priest then looks at Shinhye before he asks her the same question.
“Park Shin Hye ssi, will you take this man here to be your husband?”
Shinhye smiles tenderly at Yonghwa and nods.
“I do.”
“Now, you may face each other and exchange your vow.”
Shinhye and Yonghwa did what they were told to.
Holding both of her hands in his warm hands; Yonghwa starts.
“Park Shinhye, you know I hate you when I saw you for the first time right?”
The crowd went silent.
Shocked and confused.
They know them as the very best friend; according to them and media.
They never imagine that they did hate each other before.
Shinhye laughs it off and nods.
“I know.”
Yes, they are being honest.
It’s their vow remember.
“I made a very big mistake then.”
“I know that too.”
She smiles.
Yonghwa grins.
“Today, I’m taking you in my hand, in my heart, in my house and in my life as my one and only wife. I will always cherish you, do everything you like, leave your dislike behind and ready to sail this beautiful life with you. I will love you till my last breathe. I love you with all my heart as well as my soul. I will never leave you behind in anything. You are my last destination. You are my fate. You are my destiny. You are my life. I wish you will always stay; holding my hand, walks with me wherever our life lead us to. Fairy tales are fairy tales, but I will try my best in fulfilling the happiness that you wanted like a charming prince. I’ll always be your knight. I will always be there for you. I love you Shinhye ya, now and forever.”
He winks at her after his vow.
Shinhye smiles.
“It’s my turn right?”
Yonghwa chuckles.
“I hate you for calling me short before. I wish you won’t grow a lot taller than me and my wish is granted.”
She giggles while Yonghwa laughs.
“Jung Yonghwa, I don’t know how to talk as beautiful as you but I wish you know that I love you with all my life. I’m a bit slow in expressing myself but you always know what I want. I love you more. My feelings grow more as days goes by. I will never leave your hand. I will only depend on you in riding our life. You are my life, my destiny, my every thing. I will do only what you love and leave what you don’t. Let’s build our own life, our own family and live happily ever after. I know it, fairy tales doesn’t exist in real life but you are my prince charming and I will always be your princess.”
The officiator then asks Jungshin and Jimin for the ring.
They slid the ring on each others fingers without fading their smile.
“Now, I pronounce Jung Yonghwa and Park Shinhye husband and wife. You may kiss your bride.”
Yonghwa smiles and kisses Shinhye’s lips while he calms his excited hormones.
The kiss was short; despite their hunger for each other.
Yonghwa caresses her lower lips while resting his forehead on hers.
“Save it for later. After I see you squealing on my surprise for you.”
He whispers and pecks her lips once again before they face the guests.
“Finally.”
Yonghwa said before he carries Shinhye in his arms.
