“Shinhye!”

Shinhye turn around and smiles widely when she saw Hongki approaching. She gives him a tight hug.

“Hongki. How are you?”

She asks when she releases him.

“I’m good. How are you? Wow, you are so gorgeous Shin.”

Shinhye smiles sweetly.

“Thanks Hongki. You look manly.”

She laughs.

“Yah, Can’t you say I look good too.”

Shinhye smiles.

“Let’s sit.”

“Deh. I watched your new movie. How can you act like that?”

Shinhye frowned.

“Is it bad?”

Hongki shakes his head.

“You make me cry.”

Shinhye laughs.

“Yah, you scared me.”

Hongki smiles.

“Ahh, how I miss talking to you. Both my BFF had been so busy nowadays.”

Shinhye smiles.

“Aren’t you busy too?”

“Not as busy as the actress and the rockers.”

Shinhye sips her drink.

“You meet him at the award ceremony right?”

“Yeah, we were asked to give an award. As we graduated from the same school, they thought we are friends.”

“Chinca?”

Shinhye nods.

“Have you grown closer? You will sang a duet right?”

Shinhye raises his eyebrows.

“How did you know? It’s still in discussion. Did you meet Jung before coming here?”

Hongki smiles and shakes his head.

“I heard the rumor from a friend.”

“Friend? You have friends from the entertainment? It’s new Hongki.”

“Yah. What about you and Yong?”

“It’s different.”

Hongki chuckles.

“Forget about me, so, are you going to do it? The duet?”

Shinhye sighs.

“I’ll get haters if I don’t. They will say that I’m picky. It will ruin my image.”

“I wonder how you will fill the song with emotions?”

Shinhye shoot a stare at him.

“Yah, I’m an actress too remember? I can act.”

“Ara. Ara. I’m leaving.”

“Huh? That soon?”

“I’m going to meet a friend.”

Shinhye grins.

“Girlfriend?”

Hongki rubs his nape and smiles widely.

“I’ll tell you later.”

“Make sure you do.”

Hongki smiles and hugs Shinhye.

“Take care.”

Shinhye nods.

“You too.”

“Park Shinhye? Are you sure hyung?”

Yonghwa sighs when his manager nods.

“I’m screwed.”

He whispers slowly.

“Is something wrong Yong? You and Shinhye ssi were childhood friends right? I heard that you are from the same school.”

Yonghwa smiles.

“Aniyo. What is the genre?”

“It’s a romantic song. President wants to release it on Valentine Day.”

Yonghwa sighs again.

“How can I do a romantic song with Park?”

He thought and runs his fingers on his hair.

“I’ll meet him in an hour.”

“Sure. Do you want my company?”

“Ani. I’ll meet him alone.”

“Deh. Resume your practice.”

He pats Yonghwa’s back and leaves the training studio.

Yonghwa throw his head backwards in despair.

“Park Shin Hye!”

“Hi chingu.”

Shinhye plasters a fake smile when Yonghwa walks into her entertainment office with his manager.

“Hi. How are you?”

Yonghwa put his hands into his pockets and grins.

“I’m good. We just talk last night right.”

Shinhye nods while gritting her teeth but trying to keep her calm.

“Let’s talk in my office Yonghwa ssi, Shinhye.”

Shinhye’s president, Mr. Kang call them in.

“Deh President Kang.”

Yonghwa walks pass her with a huge smile.

Shinhye stare at his back annoyingly as she stands up and follows them inside.

“Okay, let’s make this short. We are going to pair you up for a duet. You both are the most popular celebrity nowadays and I’m sure that this collaboration will gain many interest. You may get a chance to make a world tour.”

Kang Minhyuk laughs.

Yonghwa keep his calm while Shinhye listens boringly to her president.

“I’m okay with it.”

He answers after a while.

“But I will let Miss Park give her consent. I’ll let her decide.”

Yonghwa said while flashing his toothy grin.

Shinhye scoffs. He really has to act in a movie or drama. He acts perfectly. Even though he called her formally now, he still didn’t call her by her precious name.

Shinhye smiles sweetly at President Kang.

“I’ll do it. It’s a rare duet between a rockstar and a ballad singer. And it was my chingu who will be my partner. Why would I decline?”

“That’s a good response Shinhye. So, Yonghwa ssi, is everything clear?”

Yonghwa smiles and nods.

“It is clear enough President Kang.”

“We should signs the contract tomorrow. Is that okay with you?”

Yonghwa turn to discuss with his manager before he nods.

“That’s perfect. So, see you tomorrow President?”

“Deh Yonghwa ssi. Thank you.”

Yonghwa shook his hand before he shook Shinhye’s.

Shinhye plasters a sweet smile all the time.

“I’ll leave too President. “

“Wait Shinhye.”

“Wae? Is there something wrong?”

“A bit. Are you sure you and Yonghwa ssi is close?”

Shinhye nods.

“Waeyo?”

“Choi Jimin.”

Shinhye furrows her eyebrows and sighs.

“What did she up to now?”

President Kang shrugs his shoulder.

“She was digging about your background. Someone call me, telling me about it.”

Shinhye fired up. She crosses her arms.

“She what? Who did she think she is? Can’t she just leave me alone?”

President Kang sighs.

“That’s her job Shinhye. We can’t do anything to stop her or else we are done for. So, if you have anything that you kept by yourself, tell me straightly neh.”

Shinhye nods.

“Arasseo.”

“So, Yonghwa ssi?”

“He is friend.”

Shinhye answers and walks out of President Kang’s room.

“Shinhye, slow down.”

“I can’t unni.”

“Wae? You will choke on your food”

Shinhye put down her cutleries set.

“Choi Jimin. She is getting on my nerve.”

“She is a great reporter Shin. She knows what she does.”

“Arayo. But I don’t think she has anyone to follow other than me. She always writes about me.”

“Chagi, she writes good things about you.”

“But unni, President Kang told me that she’s been digging about my past.”

“Calm down. Your past doesn’t have anything to be worried of.”

Shinhye sighs. If only her manager knows about her and Yonghwa when they still in school. She also thought that their relationship is good because their parents were friends.

“I hope she won’t write stuffs about me that can bring me down.”

“She won’t. Eat.”

Shinhye’s manager smiles and enjoy her dinner quietly.
