“Did he suspect anything Shin?”

“No unni. He is understandable. My chagi will never suspect me.”

“Aigoo. Look at that smile of yours.”

Shinhye’s manager chuckles and goes through her memo.

“I can’t find the chocolate fountain. Since you wanted it in last minute.”

“Kenchana. Let’s make it simple then, except for the cake. I took time to draw it.”

“I understand. Since you are bad at it.”

Shinhye laughs.

“Aisshh unni.”

“Wae? I’m telling the truth.”

“Arasseo. But don’t let my fans know.”

“Of course. But your fans will only think it was cute Shin.”

“Ara, but the haters? I got some in here too unni. Remember?”

“Don’t think about it anymore. We know who spread the things right?”

Shinhye nods.

“She apologized too.”

“So, it is out of jealousy. Not hating.”

Shinhye nods again.

“Don’t you think there will be someone like Hiromi who will bad-mouth me unni?”

“Don’t think about that for now Shin ah. We are here for your surprise to Yonghwa ssi right?”

“Sorry.”

Shinhye’s manager smiles and looks out when their driver halt the vehicle.

“We arrived just in tme.”

Shinhye’s manager climbs out of the van with her and walks inside the bakery.

They were greeted by a middle age lady who smiles brightly at them.

“Sorry to bother you at this time.”

“It’s okay.”

She let them in and shows Shinhye the cake that she wanted while waiting for her response in anticipation.

Smiling, Shinhye looks at the cake with sparkling eyes.

“This is too beautiful madam. Thank you.”

“I’m glad you like it. I put in a great effort when I know it’s for Jung Yonghwa san.”

“Thank you madam. I’ll make sure I mention you when I give this cake to him.”

“Thank you Shinhye san.”

“No problem.”

Shinhye pays for the cake and walks out to the van.

“Let’s start with the decoration unni.”

Shinhye’s manager nods and gestures the driver to drive to the venue.

Yonghwa stares at the movie boringly.

He smiles when it was Shinhye’s scene and frowns when the scene ended.

He glances to his wrist.

Shinhye had been out since last two hours.

“What make you this long Shin ah?”

Yonghwa walks lazily to the kitchen and pours a glass of water. He drinks it in one shot and wipes the dripping liquid with his palm.

“What should I do?”

Yonghwa taps the kitchen counter with his fingers while he scans around the kitchen.

“Should I clean?”

Yonghwa smiles and took a clean cloth and a small pail.

He glances at the watch again.

It’s 11.30 p.m.

“Who cleans the house near midnight?”

He chuckles while shaking his head.

“Only the bored Jung Yonghwa I guess.”

Yongwa starts cleaning the windows and table along with the furniture.

He sings while he works and he quite enjoying himself.

Shinhye push open their apartment door to reveal Yonghwa who was busying himself with cleaning.

She giggles silently and tiptoed to him.

Yonghwa doesn’t even realize that Shinhye was standing behind him and absorbed with cleaning.

She leans to his ears and shouts his name which makes the latter jumps in surprise.

Upon seeing his shocked expression, Shinhye laughs while she hugs her stomach.

“Omo you are so hilarious Jung.”

She said in between her laugh. Her cheeks had turns red due to the laughs.

“Shin.”

Yonghwa utters while he holds his chest.

“I nearly died because of that.”

Shinhye controls her laughter with covering and raise to Yonghwa’s level.

She pecks on his lips.

“Mian. But why are you cleaning this late?”

Yonghwa walks to the kitchen again with the pail and cloth.

“I’m bored.”

“You are? I thought you text me that you are watching movies.”

“I did but it’s different without you.”

Shinhye grins.

“I am that important?”

“Of course.”

Yonghwa wipes his hand and went to give Shinhye a tight hug.

“I missed you.”

He showered her with tiny kisses all over her face before he claims her lips in a slow and sweet kiss.

“I miss you too.”

Shinhye cups his face and pecks his nose.

Yonghwa smiles and continues to kiss her. He kisses her jaw, neck and collarbone. He started to runs his hand inside her shirt when Shinhye pushes him slightly away from her.

“Come with me to a place now.”

“Why?”

Yonghwa said frowning.

“Unni needs our help.”

“But I need you.”

“Aishhh. You had got me in your grasp right Jung?”

Shinhye chuckles and pecks his cheek.

“We’ll just help unni for a while neh.”

Yonghwa glances to the wall clock.

He grins.

“Hmmm. Shin ah. Don’t you have anything to say to me?”

“What is it?”

“Try to remember.”

Shinhye taps her chin few times before she shakes her head.

“Nope.”

“Let’s go then. I’ll just take my jacket.”

“I’ll wait in the van chagi.”

Shinhye smiles when she saw Yonghwa walks towards his room with slumped shoulders.

“Come, let’s go first.”

“What help do your manager need at this hour?”

“Just walk Jung Yonghwa ssi.”

Yonghwa sighs and walks with Shinhye dragging him inside the small studio.

“It’s too dark Shin. Let me look for the switch.”

“No, let me. You are not familiar with this place.”

Shinhye left Yonghwa’s hand the room light up in few seconds.

Yonghwa widens his eyes as he saw the set up in the room.

Balloons that have his name on it, a blue guitar cake, and his favorite song been played as background music.

“Otte?”

He turns to his right to look for Shinhye and he smiles upon seeing her face.

“Shin ah.”

Yonghwa held out his hand, gesturing her to come to him.

Shinhye walks to him in a quicker pace before she jumps into his embrace and kisses his neck.

“Happy birthday Jung.”

She whispers into his right ear before she kisses it.
