“Shin.”
“Coming.”
Shinhye clips her hair and rushes out of her room.
“What is it Yongie?”
“Nothing really.”
Shinhye giggles and sits beside him.
“Do you know that I have to move to noona’s before our marriade?”
“Deh. Unni told me. Omma and your mom’s plan.”
Shinhye chuckles and leans on Yonghwa’s arm.
Yonghwa pulls her to lean on his chest and hugs her shoulder instead.
“I don’t think I can survive two weeks without hugging you like this.”
“You will. I can sneak in unni’s house you know. Making Haru as an excuse.”
Shinhye smiles when Yonghwa laughs.
“Can we do that?”
Shinhye shrugs.
“Omma will find out.”
Yonghwa nods.
“Mom too. Noona is very sporting but our mothers are very sharp in these things. I won’t be surprised if they arrived on time.”
“Right Yongie. Like how they sense that we aren’t dating for real.”
“Very true.”
They laughs.
“I’m very thankful to them actually.”
“Waeyo Yong?”
“They always find ways for us to meet up last time.”
“But we are not in a good term.”
“Do you realize that we know about each other more because of that?”
“Because of the hate?”
Yonghwa nods.
“We try to look up every single thing about each other, basically every thing to make sure we can make fun of each other.”
“Right Yongie. I pity Hongki.”
“Yeah. He is a great friend.”
Yonghwa nods while squeezing Shinhye’s arm.
“Yongie, you told Hongki about our engagement right?”
Yonghwa turns his head to Shinhye.
“I thought you did.”
“I didn’t.”
“Uh oh.”
Yonghwa ran to his room to claim his phone and dialed Hongki’s number in speed.
“He is going to kill me.”
He said while waiting for him to pick up the phone.
“He is going to kill us.”
Shinhye said with a laugh.
“Hello Hongki.”
Yonghwa said in a nervous tone when Hongki finally picks up his phone.
“Good luck chagiya.”
Shinhye mouthed as she went to the kitchen to retrieve her ice cream.
Yonghwa widens his eyes when Shinhye leaves him alone dealing with Hongki.
“What’s up Yong?”
“Hongki ya.”
“I’m listening.”
“Me and Shin are getting engaged this Sunday.”
“You what?”
“Yah. It’s in three days. How can you just tell me now?”
“Sorry Hongki ah. I thought Shin called you.”
“You two suits perfectly. I don’t know how I can stand you guys this long without throwing up.”
Yonghwa chuckles.
“You are coming right?”
“How can I skip my best friend engagement day?”
Hongki laughs.
“We’ll be there.”
“Thanks Hongki and sorry too.”
“Yahh. Don’t make me look bad. I’m just kidding. What is the theme?”
“It’s just a small party Hongki. No theme actually.”
“Alright Yong.”
“Bye Hongki.”
Yonghwa sighs in relief and walks to the kitchen after he ended the call.
He chuckles when he saw Shinhye savoring her ice cream while smiling teasingly at him.
“How it goes?”
Yonghwa took the spoon from Shinhye and tasted the ice cream.
“Fortunately he did not piss off that much.”
He said while shaking his head.
“How could you leave me alone?”
“You are talking by phone baby. If Hongki is in front of you, I will shield you, be your black rose.”
Shinhye giggles as she said that.
“Reminiscing your role in your recent movie?”
Shinhye nods and laughs.
“I missed working again Yongie.”
“I never asked you to stop taking offers for now.”
“But there are a lot of things to be done.”
“Ara. What time should we go there?”
Shinhye wrinkles her forehead.
“Where?”
“I’m really surprised that you forget that honey. The boutique. We are going to choose our outfit right?”
“Oh right. I had become an ahjumma.”
Yonghwa laughs.
“A beautiful one.”

“Yongie, which do you want me to wear?”
Yonghwa stands and selects a dress and shows it to Shinhye.
Shinhye widens her eyes.
“That? Yonghwa. What’s going on with you?”
The staff laughs at their cute bickering.
Yonghwa scratches his head while he grins foolishly.
“No?”
Shinhye crosses her arms in front of her chest and flips her hair.
“I’m not going to wear that.”
*this is Yong’s choice.*
“Okay, you choose. I’ll accept anything with closed eyes.”
“You mean it?”
Yonghwa nods.
“Okay. Show me the prettiest one miss.”
“Deh.”
The staff went in and walks out with a few dresses.
Shinhye smiles when her eyes caught one of the dresses.
“I want to wear this one.”

“Okay.”
Shinhye grins.
“Thank you chagiya. Let’s choose your shirt.”
Yonghwa nods and follows her.

“Hongki is here Shinnie.”
“Deh unni. I’ll be out in a moment.”
“Take your time. Jinyoung is here too I think.”
“Okay unni. Yong is out there right?”
“Yes. We’ll head out first neh. Kaja Haru yaa.”
Shinhye smiles and put on her matching earrings.
“I’m done here right unni?”
“Deh Shin.”
Shinhye hairstylist answers.
Shinhye walks out to the party venue and greets the guests she passed before she meet her best friends.
“Shin ah. You look fabulous.”
“Thanks Jinyoungie. You got the glint.”
Jinyoung smiles and caresses her stomach.
“I hope our kids will be born in the same year.”
“I’ll work hard Jinyoung. Don’t worry.”
Yonghwa answers as he winks at Shinhye.
“My baby will be the eldest like me.”
Hongki said as he secure his hand around his wife’s waist.
“Mine the second.”
“While ours the maknae.”
Shinhye said and laughs with them.
“Kids, we will start it now. Go on and give your speechs.”
“Deh mom. Come on Shin. Sit and enjoy the party guys.”
Yonghwa and Shinhye walk to the stage hand in hand.
They look good together.
They match perfectly together.
And they are meant to be together.
“Hello everyone.”
Yonghwa started.
“Thank you for coming to our party. Actually, I am very excited for this event. Finally I am just a step away from making Park Shinhye mine.”
He glances to Shinhye and smiles as he passes the microphone to her.
“Thank you for coming. Even that it is a simple engagement party, we are glad that you guys make time to attend it. I’m so honored to have our families and friends here to support us. Thank you very much.”
“Please help yourself to the food and enjoy the party.”
Yonghwa said finally and receive applause from the guests.
