“You came.”

Yonghwa said when they were sitted opposites of each other in his waiting room.

Shinhye nods.

“As a surprise for the fans.”

Yonghwa smiles.

“And me.”

Shinhye chuckles.

“I never thought that you did not know. I think oppa told you.”

“Never. I was surprise that there were few people when I’m on my way to the soundcheck.”

“Really?”

Yonghwa nods.

“But I’m glad you came. I have used to have you by my side.”

Shinhye flutters upon hearing what he said. She smiles sweetly while she her hair.

“Me too. It feels different when I come back to the empty apartment. You always there watching TV if I’m late.”

“Deh. And you will rush to make dinner so that I won’t starve.”

They laughs.

“Just how long have we been apart?”

“4 weeks?”

Yonghwa nods.

“But it feels like we have been apart for months.”

He mutters in a low voice.

Shinhye stares at him.

“You think that?”

Yonghwa nods.

“I feel it too. Even that I was surrounded buy many people, I still think about you. Weird right?”

Yonghwa chuckles.

“Do you want to go out? We can walk around. We still have 50 minutes.”

“Can we?”

Yonghwa nods and stands up.

“Let’s go.”

Shinhye giggles and took his hand. How she misses holding Yonghwa’s hand like she always did. She lifts her head and look at his face. She misses all of him.

“Let’s go to a café next to this building to save time walking.”

Yonghwa asks suddenly while he looks at her.

Shinhye nods while she bites her lips.

“What if Yong saw me ogling at his face?”

Yonghwa smiles nervously as he feels his heart thumps.

“Stop doing that Shin. I can’t handle myself from kissing you if you continue doing that?”

They walk to the café without talking. They smiles to the fans who recognize them but they did not converse with each other until they sit down on their table.

They are sitting beside each other now. Both trying to calm their racing heart.

“Yonghwa.”

Shinhye is the first one who break the silence.

“Hmm.”

He answers while he turns to look at her pure, angelic face.

“Do you know what happen when you are on this trip?”

Yonghwa wrinkles his forehead.

“What?”

“Choi Jimin makes a fuss about our relationship.”

“Again?”

Shinhye nods.

“What did she says? I didn't check the social sites.”

“Breakup rumors.”

“That’s crap.”

“I know. She make it up because I’ve been applying leave but I’m not there in your concert.”

“But you are in my mom’s.”

“That’s what she doesn’t know.”

Shinhye smiles.

“But today’s concert will prove that she is wrong.”

Yonghwa grabs Shinhye’s hand and holds it tightly.

“Let’s show them that we are still in a relationship.”

He said with a smile.

Shinhye nods with a tingling feel in her heart.

“There is a long bridge between personal and professional.”

Suddenly Jinyoung words pop up in her mind.

“Am I being professional or am I being personal?”

She stares at their intertwined fingers.

She sighs.

“Are you okay Shin?”

Shinhye shrugs her thought off and smiles sweetly at Yonghwa.

“I’m okay.”

Yonghwa smiles and caresses her hand with his thumb.

“And one more thing.”

“What is it?”

Yonghwa asks excitingly as he senses Shinhye starts to get to her bubbly self.

“Jinyoungie is getting married.”

“Jinyoung?”

“Deh.”

“With the fan of yours that drives us to Seoul from Busan?”

Shinhye grins and nods.

“I’ll be her bridemaid.”

“Really?”

“Yes. She always said that I will be the one who will get married first but at last she founds her happiness earlier.”

Shinhye said while she smiles.

Yonghwa let out a slow chuckle.

“You will one day. You still have a long road to go.”

“You are right. Ahh, I take a lot of Haru’s picture. Do you want to see it?”

“Sure.”

Shinhye took out her phone and shows Yonghwa all of Haru’s photos.

“This one is on her first day at ahjumma’s house. Jonghyun oppa gave me.”

“I saw it too. Noona email it to me.”

Shinhye smiles cutely.

“When is this?”

Yonghwa asks when he look at the picture of Shinhye holding Haru.

“This is when I tried bathing her. I was so scared at that time Yongie. She is too tiny.”

Yonghwa stares at the photo in amusement.

“You look like a young mom.”

He smiles.

Shinhye’s heart flutters at his remarks.

“Did I? Do you think I’ll be fine if I took the new formula milk CF project?”

“You got an offer?”

Shinhye nods.

“Accept it. You will look awesome.”

“I will discuss it with President Minhyuk.”

Yonghwa laughs when his phone rang.

“We have to go back.”

He said before he attends the call.

“I just told Shinhye that you want us back in there.”

Shinhye supports her chin with her right hand while she looks at Yonghwa. She smiles.

“How can I hate you before?”

She chuckles at her thought.

“Waeyo?”

“Ani.”

“You are too quiet Shinhye ya.”

“Nothing. Let’s go. Oppa will call you again if we are late.”

Shinhye grabs Yonghwa’s arm and link her arm with his.

“I miss this.”

Yonghwa said while he winks at his “friend”.

Shinhye smiles and tip toe-ing before she place a kiss on his cheek which makes Yonghwa grins.

“You said we have to kiss a lot in public.”

She blushes while she grabs Yonghwa’s out of the café.

“Nervous?”

Shinhye nods.

“I never stand in front of so many audiences. I just sing in front of few.”

“I’ll be there right. You just have to hold my hand.”

Yonghwa said while smiles adoringly.

“Yes Shinhye ssi, you have to throw away the nervousness. This si Yong’s last concert, it has to be special.”

Yonghwa shifts his view back to Shinhye when his manager finishes talking. He cups her face and smiles.

“We can do this.”

He said and pecks her lower lip.

Shinhye nods.

“He did this because there were people around.”

She thinks bitterly.

“But why do I feel sad?”

“Chagiya.”

“Deh?”

“You spazz out again.”

Shinhye smiles and shakes her head.

“I’m fine.”

Yonghwa pulls her in his embrace.

“Calm down and enjoy it.”

He whispers to her ear.

Shinhye puts her hand on his back and hugs him while she rested her head on his chest.

“I will.”

Yonghwa places a kiss on her hair before he broke the hug.

He kisses her lips once again and smiles.

“Fighting.”

Shinhye chuckles and do the fighting sign with her hand.

“Let’s go Shinhye ssi.”

“Deh.”

Shinhye walks with the staff to the back stage. She puts her hand on her chest when she waited for the countdown for her to walks up.

“You will walk up now.”

Shinhye nods and breathes before she climbs the stairs.

“Let’s do this.”

She then smiles and walks to the centre of the stage which makes the fans screams her name in delight.

She bows to them and starts singing their duet before Yonghwa walks up to her and joins her. The way they perform was so sweet in a very romantic vibe. Their gestures, their stares and their melodious voice makes the crowd enjoyed it in silence.

When the song nearly ends, Yonghwa moves forward and winks at Shinhye before he snakes his arm around her waist.

The fans scream and chant their name asking them to kiss.

Yonghwa smiles and leans forward,resting his forehead on hers before he kisses her with longing.

The kiss is short but sweet.

The kiss is short but full of love.

The kiss is short but it’s sincere.

The short kiss tends to be just for public but deep inside, both are yearning for each other but no one wants to speak out.

Why do I get excited for the next chapter…
