“Oppa.”

“Yeh Shinhye ssi.”

“Oppa, are you busy?”

“No, I was going to see Yonghwa in his studio. Waeyo?”

“I’m on my way there, can I see him?”

“Sure. Are you near?”

“Deh oppa. I’m closing by.”

“Okay Shinhye ssi, I’ll wait you in front.”

“Thank you oppa.”

Shinhye ended the call with a wide smile. Her manager glances at her and chuckles.

“Are you that happy?”

Shinhye giggles.

“Deh.”

She glances at the backseat and smiles again. Yonghwa will like it.

“You can go home unni. I’ll make sure Yong come home.”

“Arasseo. Be careful neh.”

“Deh.”

Shinhye went out of the car and walks straight to Yonghwa’s manager.

“Here is the key. He often locks the door when he is practicing.”

Shinhye smiles sweetly.

“You are not coming?”

“No. I don’t want to be a disturbance.”

He chuckles.

“See you again Shinhye ssi.”

“Deh oppa. Careful.”

Yonghwa’s manager bows and walks out of the building.

Shinhye looks at the bag on her hand and grins.

“Let’s do this.”

She walks calmly to his studio. She smiles when she saw him with his guitar on the sofa.

“Sleepyhead.”

She said as she push in the key.

Shinhye walks slowly and put all her things on the table with a very tiny movement.

She stares at his sleepy face. He was holding his guitar as he sleep.

Shinhye giggles.

“My friend is handsome.”

She said as she traces his eyebrows.

She stops her action when she feels the thumping of her heart.

“Why it always thumping when I’m with you? Did I?”

Shinhye shrugs off her thought and shakes Yonghwa’s arm.

“Jung.”

She wakes him up with a low voice.

Yonghwa wrinkles his forehead.

“Wake up.”

She said a bit louder.

Yonghwa squint his eyes and blinks it few times.

“Park?”

“Deh.”

Shinhye laughs.

“Are you practicing how to sleep?”

Yonghwa sit down and glances at his watch.

“Oh I slept long.”

“I bet you do.”

Yonghwa yawns and furrows his eyebrows.

“Why are you here?”

“I have something to ask you.”

“You should have waited till I come home.”

“But you aren’t coming. Don’t you remember?”

Yonghwa grins.

“Are you hungry?”

Yonghwa shakes his head.

“Did you cook?”

Shinhye laughs.

“I just bring some kimbab that I bought earlier. Would you like some?”

“Let me wash my face first.”

Yonghwa jogs to the washroom and walks out few minutes after.

“How is your shooting today?”

“Great. The new actor is so cute.”

Shinhye exclaimed with a giggles.

Yonghwa glares at her before he shoves another piece of kimbab in his mouth.

“Is it delicious?”

Yonghwa nods.

“How is your practice?”

“Okay.”

Shinhye chuckles.

“Yah, are you jealous?”

Yonghwa coughs and put down his chopsticks.

“When did I?”

“Good that you don’t.”

Shinhye cleans up the Tupperware and put it in her bag. She waited until he drinks his water.

“Come.”

Yonghwa wrinkles his forehead.

“Where?”

Shinhye smiles as she grabs his hand.

“Kaja.”

“Tell me where we are going.”

Shinhye just keep her silent as she drags Yonghwa to walk with her.

She stops beside the basketball court and turn to Yonghwa.

“I was walking at the mall when I saw a model that was holding a basketball. It reminded me of you.”

She take out a basketball from her bag and give it to Yonghwa.

“Let’s play.”

Yonghwa laughs.

“With you?”

“Yah. I can play.”

“Really?”

Shinhye nods excitingly.

“Okay.”

Yonghwa starts running while dribbling the ball and shoots it right away. The ball went in.

Yonghwa turns to Shinhye.

“Ready to play?”

Shinhye tied her hair up and smiles.

“Ready.”

She runs to the ball and dribble it clumsily. Yonghwa jogs to her side and tries to steal her ball. She elbows her while she runs with the ball and shoots it in. She is lucky that the ball went in.

“Yah Park. You are cheating.”

Shinhye sticks out her tongue and laughs.

“I told you I can play.”

Yonghwa runs to her and took the ball.

“Let’s start playing for real.”

“Deh.”

They walk to the center of the court and stands while facing each other. The ball was with Yonghwa.

“Would you like to start first?”

Shinhye shakes her head.

“You can start first.”

“Okay.”

Yonghwa bounce the ball professionally. He smiles at Shinhye. She seems nervous.

Shinhye was not smiling. This is not a competition but the heat is here.

Yonghwa starts to dribble faster.

He gestures like he will go to the right but he starts to move to Shinhye’s left which make him score another 3 pointer in a flash.

Shinhye was left dumbfounded.

He is good. He is awesome.

“Your turn.”

Shinhye removes her jacket and throw it outside the court.

“Please don’t be harsh to me.”

Yonghwa smiles teasingly.

“I’ll try.”

“Yah.”

Yonghwa laughs.

“Keep your balance and concentrate Park.”

“I am.”

Shinhye said while she bounces the ball but loses the rhythm.

Yonghwa ran to the ball and took it.

“Do you want me to teach you?”

Shinhye smiles shyly.

“I bet I have to learn basic thing from you.”

Yonghwa chuckles.

“We will learn how to dribble first back then. Your posture must be correct. Flex your knees a bit.”

Shinhye follows his instruction and stands like he asks her too.

“Bounce the ball like this.”

Yonghwa shows her how to before he passes the ball to her.

Shinhye starts clumsily like she did before. Her posture keeps changing as the ball changes it direction.

Yonghwa moves to her back and holds her shoulders.

“Don’t move.”

He whispers into her ears which make Shinhye shiver. He stands so near. She can feel his warm breath.

“Deh.”

She answer a bit stuttering.

Yonghwa chuckles.

“Don't be too nervous. Try bounces it now.”

"Glad he don't know why I'm stuttering."

Shinhye thought.

She does it great after few times.

“Bend your knees a little.”

Shinhye wasn’t answering. Yonghwa’s voice is too y in her ears. She just nods and did at she was told.

“Walk while you dribble now.”

Shinhye starts to move.

“Try to shoot now.”

Shinhye keeps her eyes on the rim of the basketball hoop and she shoots it.

“I missed it.”

“Kenchana. You can do it again.”

Shinhye smiles.

“Thanks coach.”

She laughs.

Yonghwa laughs and took the ball.

“Another round?”

Shinhye nods while she smiles wide and they start running and teasing while they play.

“That was fun.”

Shinhye said as she sat down on the court floor, beside Yonghwa. They were panting. They were running and having fun like crazy.

Yonghwa nods as he wipes his sweats.

“Thanks.”

He said.

“I’m happy. It’s been years since I last play.”

Shinhye pats his back and smiles.

“You should play once in a while. This is one of your happiness.”

Yonghwa smiles.

“It is.”

He turns to her and pulls her in a hug.

“You make me happy tonight. Gomawo.”

Shinhye puts her arm around his body and hugs him tight. She is smiling.

“You always give me surprises Yonghwa. I just want to give you back something.”

Yonghwa releases her and smiles.

“How I wish that I can kiss her right now.”

Yonghwa thought as he stares into her eyes.

“Let’s go home. I need a shower.”

Shinhye said suddenly which makes him gain his senses.

Yonghwa nods.

“Yeah we should go home.”

 “Buy me some late night snack.”

“Sure. Let’s get in and packs my things. We can go home and freshen up before we go out to eat.”

He stands up and held out his hand to Shinhye.

Shinhye smiles and took his hand.

They walk inside hand in hand with a fluttering heart but no one wants to speak out their heart.
