~A Few Hours Later

“Kyuhyun-shi,” Seohyun knocked on his door. “Kyuhyun…” Seohyun knocked again.

“He’s probably sleeping,” Seohyun said and started walking around.

“Let’s see…Condo 105,” Seohyun saw a guard standing outside the door.

“Can I help you?” the guard asked.

“Ne, I’m Dr. Seo Joohyun, I’m working with Lawyer Cho Kyuhyun, and I’m here to check on her,” Seohyun said and showed the man her ID.

“I know you’re supposed to have privacy, so here is the card to the room, and I will be down the hall if anything happens,” the guard pointed and left.

“You can do it, Seohyun,” Seohyun took a deep breath and opened the door. When she walked in she saw the room was a mess, and the bedroom door was closed.

“I think I should help her clean it up,” Seohyun thought and started cleaning up. While cleaning up she didn’t realize someone watching her.

“Who are you?” the voice asked.

“Oh!...I’m…I’m Seohyun,” Seohyun greeted.

“What are you doing in here?” the person asked.

“You must be Yeon-hee…right?” Seohyun smiled.

“What do you want with me?” Yeon-hee backed up.

“Aniyo, let’s talk…okay?” Seohyun suggested while Yeon-hee walked against the wall and sat down on the couch.

“Can I sit?” Seohyun asked while Yeon-hee nodded.

“What do you want?” Yeon-hee asked.

“I’m here to…to talk to you,” Seohyun said.

“Talk to me? No one’s allowed to talk to me,” Yeon-hee shook her head.

“I am though…We will be friends…okay?” Seohyun smiled. “How about I make some coffee…Do you like coffee?” Seohyun asked.

“It’s over there,” Yeon-hee pointed.

“How about…we be friends okay?” Seohyun asked while making the coffee.

“Friends? You want to be friends?” Yeon-hee asked.

“Of course,” Seohyun replied.

“Why? Are you trying to do something to me?” Yeon-hee backed away.

“No…No,” Seohyun replied and poured the coffee into a cup and the two walked back to the living room.

“Thank you,” Yeon-hee thanked.

“So…Yeon-hee, why don’t you tell me about yourself…like what’s been going on these days,” Seohyun started.

“What’s been going on?” Yeon-hee asked.

“Did anything happen? What did you do a few nights ago?” Seohyun asked.

“Why are you asking me? I don’t know!” Yeon-hee shouted.

“I just want to help,” Seohyun replied.

“Help?!”

“Why did I fall asleep?” Kyuhyun yawned while walking out the door.

“Seohyun,” Kyuhyun knocked on her door.

“Seohyun…Where is she?” Kyuhyun asked and started heading for condo 105.

“Hello sir, you must be Cho Kyuhyun,” the guard said.

“Yes I am, and I’m here to see her,” Kyuhyun said.

“The doctor is in there right now, so here’s a pass if you need it,” the guard replied.

“Thanks,” Kyuhyun nodded and started walking.

“Help?!” Yeon-hee shouted.

“Ne, I know what happened Yeon-hee, and I’m here to help you,” Seohyun said.

“Why?!” Yeon-hee asked.

“Because…I’m actually…a doctor,” Seohyun replied.

“A doctor?! There’s nothing wrong with me!!!” Yeon-hee said.

“But I want to help you with the incident,” Seohyun answered calmly.

“I don’t need your help!!! I don’t want anyone’s help!!!” Yeon-hee shouted and threw the cup of coffee at Seohyun’s arm. The glass shattered and the coffee burnt Seohyun’s arm.

“Aniyo, don’t think of it like that. I’m your friend,” Seohyun said.

“I don’t want to remember!!! I don’t!!!” Yeon-hee started throwing things at Seohyun.

“Please Yeon-hee calm down,” Seohyun begged.

“No!!!” Yeon-hee shouted and was about to throw a plate at Seohyun, but someone grabbed her arm.

“Calm down,” the person demanded.

“Let go of me!!!” Yeon-hee shouted.

“Sir…We got this,” the guard said and took Yeon-hee to her room.

“Seohyun…Are you okay?” Kyuhyun asked.

“I…I’m fine,” Seohyun said.

“Are you sure…You’re hiding something,” Kyuhyun grabbed her arm.

“I said I was fine!” Seohyun replied.

“Aish! You call this fine! You have cuts and you burnt your arm!” Kyuhyun shouted.

“Why do you care? She’s my patient,” Seohyun said.

“And you’re my partner!” Kyuhyun yelled and pulled Seohyun out of the room.

“Where’s the first aid kit around here?” Kyuhyun asked while looking around his condo.

“I know how to take care of myself,” Seohyun got up.

“I found it,” Kyuhyun placed the first aid kit down. “Now sit,”

“I’m a doctor if you haven’t noticed,” Seohyun said.

“Not all doctors can cure themselves,” Kyuhyun replied and started cleaning Seohyun’s wounds.

“Ow,” Seohyun winced.

“Does it hurt?” Kyuhyun asked and blew.

“No,” Seohyun looked away.

“Out of all the cups she could throw…why a glass cup? What was in it?” Kyuhyun asked.

“Coffee,” Seohyun replied.

“Even worse,” Kyuhyun said and applied medicine for the burnt area.

“T-The wound,” Seohyun winced.

“I’m sorry,” Kyuhyun quickly blew on her cuts. “She doesn’t have the ring anymore?” Kyuhyun thought.

“I have to find him,” Yoona said when she got to the resort.

“Yoona,” Changmin greeted.

“Where’s oppa?” Yoona asked.

“Jonghyun is in the auditorium,” Changmin said.

“Not him! Where is Kyuhyun oppa?” Yoona asked.

“He’s…I think he’s with Seohyun,” Changmin said.

“Aniyo!” Yoona shouted and ran off. “Where’s his room…He told me…It was…Condo 139…139…” Yoona looked around and found it. When she opened the door….

“I think I can do it,” Seohyun said while taking her hand away.

“It’s better if someone else does it…Don’t you know? It can’t get infected, I thought you were a doctor,” Kyuhyun chuckled.

“I think I can do it then,” Seohyun said.

“Here, only a little bit more,” Kyuhyun blew on her wound.

“Oppa?” he heard a voice say.

“Yoona!” Kyuhyun stood up.

“Oppa…What are you doing?” Yoona asked.

“Seohyun…She was…” Kyuhyun started.

“Were you two…doing something?” Yoona asked.

“Yoona-shi, it’s not like that,” Seohyun said. “We were helping Yeon-hee and an accident happened so Kyuhyun-shi was helping me,” Seohyun replied.

“Really?” Yoona raised an eyebrow.

“Oppa…We need to talk,” Yoona demanded and closed the door after Seohyun.

“It’s…Six o’clock, I think I should go eat,” Seohyun walked towards the lobby.

“Let’s see…” Seohyun said while caring a tray of food. “Where can they be?” Seohyun asked and kept walking until she bumped into someone.

“Whoa, watch out,” she heard the familiar voice chuckled.

“Thank you,” Seohyun slightly bowed.

“Oh….hey,” the voice coughed.

“Kyuhyun-shi,” Seohyun replied.

“We don’t have to be formal since we’re working together,” Kyuhyun said.

“It’s more polite,” Seohyun started walking.

“I can help you with that,” Kyuhyun offered.

“Shouldn’t you be working on Yeon-hee’s case?” Seohyun asked.

“Shouldn’t you be examining her?” Kyuhyun asked back.
