Victoria woke up as she heard the door bell rang. She looked at the clock on the wall and wondered who paid her a visit at this early morning. When she opened the door, she saw Chang Min smiling brightly at her.

“What are doing here at this hour?” Victoria yawned.

“Get change,” Chang Min walked into the living room.

“Why? Are we going somewhere?” Victoria asked.

“Yes, so go and change now,” Chang Min told Victoria.

Victoria went back to her bedroom while Chang Min sat on the sofa in the living room, waiting for Victoria to get changed. Twenty minutes later, Victoria changed her pajamas into a white blouse with a blue skirt and a pair of light blue flats.

“Where are we going?” Victoria asked Chang Min who was driving.

“You’ll know later,” Chang Min told her. “You can get some sleep first if you want to.”

When Victoria woke up from Chang Min’s call, she realized that they were in front of a white and small church. A beach could be seen not far away from the church. While Victoria wanted to question Chang Min about their whereabouts, he asked her to close her eyes and took his left hand. She followed Chang Min’s instruction and Chang Min leaded her into the church. She could feel that she sat down on one of the benches inside the church. She didn’t open her eyes until she heard someone played the piano for her and the song is the same song that person played to him when he confessed to her. Victoria opened her eyes and saw the familiar figure playing the piano. Her sight became blurry as tears formed in her eyes. The person playing the piano showed his right hand, asking her to join him. She walked towards him and sat down beside him. Both of them played the same song all over again.

“Let’s go to have brunch. I think you’re hungry already,” Kyu Hyun took Victoria’s hand and headed out of the church. “Don’t ask anything. Let’s just reminisce the old days just for today.”

Victoria didn’t say anything more but followed Kyu Hyun. They came to a small restaurant situated at the beachside. Kyu Hyun ordered two sets of American breakfast for both of them. Victoria felt that they had gone back to the old days before the accident happened. After they had the brunch, they walked for twenty minutes to a wet market and enjoyed their date. When the sky turned dark, they came to a small restaurant at the end of the street and had a Korean style dinner. When they went back to Seoul, it was already eleven o’clock. Kyu Hyun sent Victoria to the front door of her apartment. He kissed on her forehead.

“Is this goodbye?” Victoria asked Kyu Hyun.

“Yes,” Kyu Hyun smiled at her.

“Cho Kyu Hyun, promise me that you’ll treat Yoo Na nicely,” Victoria told Kyu Hyun.

“I promise,” Kyu Hyun responded.

“Promise me that you’ll forget about me,” Victoria said.

“I promise,” Kyu Hyun told her.

“Lastly, promise me that you’ll be happy,” Victoria said.

“I promise,” Kyu Hyun still smiled at her. “Promise me you’ll be happy too and forget about me.”

“I promise,” Victoria smiled at him.

“Goodbye,” Kyu Hyun said and left her sight.

‘Goodbye Kyu Hyun,’ Victoria said in her heart as she watched Kyu Hyun entered his car and drove away. ‘Silly, how could I be happy without you? Victoria’s only happiness came from you, Cho Kyu Hyun.’
