At the middle of our dinner, my phone suddenly vibrated.

I fished it right away to check the message.

It's from my Professor. The message was quite long.

As I was typing my reply, my right hand took the fork without leaving my attention on the phone.

I picked some food on my plate.

I didn't not realize that I picked something that's not included in my plate since my attention was drawn to the phone.

As the food reached my mouth and started chewing it, I immediately dropped off my phone.

The four of them got startled with my sudden action.

"Heyy! Are you okay?" Said Yuri. Puzzled.

Crap! I even swallowed it.

My eyes starts to water, my forehead is sweating and I can't breathe properly.

Yoona immediately stood up to get a glass of water.

They both know that I can't handle spicy food. I have a low tolerance for it.

"Here, drink this" Jessica said as she hands me a glass of milk.

I raised a brow on her. Contemplating whether to accept her offer or not.

"Just trust me, okay?" Jessica said.

I drank it one shot.

The hot and spicy feeling in my mouth starts subsiding.

"How are you feeling now?" Jessica asked.

"That's absurd. I never knew that milk is waaaaaay better than water" I said.

She then smiled with a relief on her face.

I pulled out my hoodie since I feel so hot with the incident.

"Where are you going? Says Yuri

"Oh. I just lost my appetite. Sorry Yoong" I turned to Yoona.

"No it's okay. Get some fresh air now"

Good to know that YoonYul know the after effect whenever I will encounter spicy foods.

I took a step. My feet led me to their balcony. I inhaled and exhaled. Ahhh. This feels good.

I stayed there for 10 minutes then went back.

"Hey, I'll do the dishes, ok?" I said as I started to pick up the plates.

"You sure?" Yuri asked.

"Of course. I'm fine now" I gave her a rest assured smile.

"I'll help" Jessica in.

"Eh? Really unni?" Yoona said

"Yeaa, why?"

"Nothing, it's just that I never seen you wash the dishes since you came here"

"Cause I always buy my food outside the campus. I never cook"

"Ah! Right. How could I be so absent minded"

The sink is big enough for two people. I poured some dishwashing detergent while Jessica is assigned to rinse the plates.

Whenever she makes a movement her arm would always touch mine.

I'm starting to heat up again.

This is not good. Her bear skin keeps on touching mine.

"Are you in a relationship?" Jessica asked a very very awkward question.

"No I'm not"

"Why?"

"Because I don't have a preference" i said cooly.

"What? So it means you never liked someone?"

I never liked someone until you came. Great, how I wish I could say that to her.

I don't want to say yes because I know she will never stop asking me.

"...how about you? Do you have a boyfriend?

I hope you don't have one. *crossed fingers*

"Well actually... I have"

There! I just received my first heart break.

"Oh. Where is he?" I pretended to be okay.

"He's in LA"

"But why are you here?"

"I needed space. And I also missed Korea"

Space? I don't get her. Nevertheless, I didn't ask more questions.

Finally we're done washing the dishes. I immediately took a step away from her.
