The only way to describe the past two months was strenuous. 

Ever since Kairi was chosen among a few lucky trainee girls to possibly get a spot on FNC's new girl group, the lessons had been amplified up  a couple of notches. 

Every step they danced, every note they had to sing had to be perfect and to the few that had to rap, they had to make sure their flow was correct, their pronunciation was good and all sorts of things that she didn't understand. Perfect was impossible, but Kairi honestly believed that they were pretty close to it especially at the rate they were going. 

Today was one of those days where an extremely complex dance routine was taught in a span of two hours before they had to mimic it to the best of their ability. Of course, every misstep had resulted in starting the routine over again and unfortunately, Kairi had contributed to the music being stopped a couple of times before being played from the beginning. 

She wasn't the best dancer, she prided herself into her singing more, but she was extremely envious of the girls who were better than her. More so of the ones who got the dance in a few tries while she had struggled to even get the first few foot moments right. 

So it was perfectly justifiable in her mind, when a break was finally called, for her to glare a bit at the the dancer line. 

Throwing herself onto the ground with a groan, Kairi grabbed at a nearby towel to wipe away the sweat that had collected at her forehead.  Most of the girls around the room were in the same condition as her except for a few girls who left the room to go use the bathroom, Kairi guessed. 

Looking to her left, Kairi noticed Song Yi sitting with her own towel wrapped around her shoulders with her face still as impassive as ever. Out of all the girls that Kairi had managed a small conversation with, Song Yi was the one she was most familiar with.

They had shared of a similar kind of demeanor; not exactly shy, not exactly loud either. It was easy for them to talk and whenever Kairi felt the growing urge to tackle people into hugs, Song Yi had been her victim. The other girl didn't seem to mind too much and had accepted it without protest. 

In the past two months, Kairi had grown to know Song Yi well enough to see when she was in her thinking mode and seeing it on the younger girl's face at the moment, Kairi merely closed her eyes to try and collect her energy. 

The moment of peace was short lived though when there was a hiss of what sounded like pain and a small thump. 

Kairi cracked her eyes open a tad before they opened fully at the scene before her. 

Yukari looked like a penguin attempting to fly as she stood over a sitting Seulki, who had a bit of a look of pain in her eyes. Seeing her hold her ankle, Kairi  sat up as she came to the realization she might have sprained it.

The only other trainee that Kairi had somewhat befriended was Seulki, who was a sweet girl. She was a bit shy like her,  more so than Kairi, but it was adorable. Maybe it was her young age that made her adorable or something, but Kairi couldn't help but mother her when she wasn't around Yukari.

Not that she didn't like Yukari...okay, so maybe she disliked the other girl at times, especially after the time when Yukari had touched her bag. Yukari was the only trainee that had learned first hand that Kairi didn't like her stuff being touched. 

"Oh my god! Are you okay!? Do you need me to carry you to the infirmary, or should I call one of the manager oppas!? DO YOU WANT ME TO CARRY YOU ON MY BACK LIKE A HORSE!?" Also, the other girl tended to be a bit too loud at times with sometimes rather random sayings. 

Getting up onto her feet, Kairi rushed over to Seulki. Just because she didn't like Yukari, didn't mean she was going to leave an injured Seulki to her. 

"You be quiet," Kairi snapped at Yukari who immediately shut up and stared at her."Go get the manager oppas while I bring Seulki to the infirmary." 

Yukari gaped rather unattractively at Kairi for a moment, before she brought up a hand and saluted her, "Yes, Ma'am!" 

As Yukari rushed out of the room, Kairi bend forward to look at Seulki. "Let me help you." 

Seulki looked at Kairi with an awkward attempt at a smile, "Um, it's okay, Unnie. I can stand up on-" 

"Nonsense," Kairi interrupted before she held Seulki steady as she helped the girl up. "You can barely stand. Just lean on me and I'll take you to the infirmary." 

"But-"

"No buts." Kairi firmly said, before she started to move towards the door with Seulki's arms around her shoulder. Even with the skill of Hapkido under her belt, Kairi struggled slightly as they inched towards the door because of Seulki's much taller frame. 

"Here, let me get this for you." Kairi blinked when Song Yi appeared out of nowhere and held open the door. Kairi flashed her an appreciative smile before she exited the room with Seulki as Song Yi followed close behind.

✉(A/N).

So I figured a bit of a foundation for teamwork would be needed for the future and who better to do it than Kairi?

Congrats to Lee_Kairi (who is now a resident in the corner of this story lol) for sending Kairi in. She has the Main Vocalist, Leader position in the group!  That leaves now two more characters to be revealed before the story can officially start with all the girls together. 

Just to update you guys, the girls will be getting a reality show. Though, I think I want it a bit more based off on Infinite's Ranking King because I think it would be interesting to see than like a diary thing. We will see though because I haven't set anything in stone yet and if nothing comes to mind, they might not get one....unless if someone pesters me.

Other than that news, I'm currently working on the girl's mini album and trying to come up with a profile page for the girls when I'm not writing chapters. or not doing school work...Ugh, school. The mini album is going to put on a blog post on my profile. I will notify you all in the story when it is done!
