“Jessica!”

 

Jessica gave up. She finally tilts her head to face the whining sunny, “What the heck do you want from me? Stop whining I can’t focus on my work” She said her tone was dead serious,

 

“Work? Do you mean staring at tiffany’s picture in your laptop?” Sunny teasingly said, Jessica shot her a glare but she immediately shrug it off “Oh C’mon, Just hear me out okay” Sunny, then cupped Jessica’s face and shown her, her infamous pout “Please”

 

“That won’t work” Jessica nonchalantly rolled her eyes,

 

With that, Sunny removed her hands away from jessica and immediately pulled her phone out from her pocket “Okay the, I’ll just tell tiffany that you’re head over heels to her and—“

 

Jessica’s eyes widen stares to sunny in disbelief, “You gotta be kidding me” She nervously said. she saw the teasing twinkle on sunny’s eyes, she can’t help but to swallow hard

 

“I’m not kidding, look” Sunny, shows her phone screen to jessica with a smug smile,

 

Jessica confirmed that sunny isn’t joking, not wanting to get in trouble, she quickly rush over sunny and tries to snatch her phone,

 

“JESSICA—“

 

“Okay, I give up”

 

Sunny bit her lower lip trying hard not to laugh “But you said yo—“

 

“C’mon you’re my best friend, and I wanted to know the things that you’re itching to say, do you want me to cancel all my appointments so that we could spend more time together?” Jessica sarcastically stated, sunny, meanwhile ended up laughing after hearing how jessica said those words, she definitely didn’t mean it. she thought before letting a fits of giggles,

 

“Don’t be like that” Sunny cutely said,

 

“Geez, your aegyo !” Jessica teased, “Okay spill the beans” Jung said before settling back to her seat,

 

“It’s just that, I saw a girl this morning, she’s so cute and beautiful, I think..” Jessica eyes sunny in disgust,

“Ya! Your expression creeps me out!” Jessica jokingly said,

 

“Sica, I think I’m in love” Sunny confessed, her lip turns into a happy smile, even her eyes smile along,

 

“By just seeing your expression, it’s obvious you’re in love” Jessica said, as a matter of fact. “So what are you planning to do?”

 

Sunny’s train of thought came to a halt “I don’t know” She said, her cheerful look turns into devastated one. “I don’t even know if I’ll see her again”

 

Jessica in empathy walk towards her friend and put a hand on her shoulder “Don’t worry, I bet my life, you’ll see her again”

 

“I hope so”

“Jessi?”

 

“Tiffany” Jessica after hearing the person’s voice behind the line immediately abandon her paper works, “What’s the matter?”

 

“It’s just, can you…”

 

Jessica can sense the uneasiness on tiffany’s voice “Hey, what is it?” She said cheerfully, trying to brighten up tiffany’s mood.

 

“I have meeting to attend, and I—I’m not sure if I can pick up yuki since—“

 

“Hey, are you asking me if I can pick yuki up from her school?” Jessica giddily said,

 

“Yeah” whispered tiffany “But it’s okay if you don’t want to, I un—“

 

“tiffany”

 

“Y-yes?”

 

“I’ll do it”

 

“REALLY?”

 

Jessica smiled hearing the enthusiastic reply from tiffany, “Of course!”

 

“Thank you very much jessica!”

“You are very welcome tiff” Jessica said between her laughter, she can imagine tiffany’s eye smile now,

 

“Okay, I got to go now jessica, bye, I love y—eh!”

 

Jessica’s brow furrows she didn’t hear the last three words clearly, “Tiffany are you okay?”

 

“O-OF COURSE” Because of the loudness, jessica have to adjust the phone away from her ear

 

“I—got to go now, BYE!”

 

Jessica didn’t even have the chance to say goodbye to tiffany since the latter already ends the call,

 

What’s with her?  Jessica innocently thought.

“WHAT THE TAEYEON! I ALMOST SAY I LOVE YOU TO JESSICA, I ALMOST CONFESS TO HER, OH MY GOD!”

 

Taeyeon put a hand to her ears to protect it, tiffany’s voice was no joke, it was loud, too loud. “Tiffany tone down your voice, were just sitting beside each other for god’s sake!” she scolded her best friend that obviously don’t mind at her at all.

 

“TAEYEON I ALMOST—OH MY GOD, THIS IS EMBARRASING, WHAT IF SHE CATCH THE ‘I LOVE’ PART! TAEYEON WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!!” Tiffany violently punch taeyeon’s shoulder, her face was red, as if someone pours red paint on her cheeks,

 

“Wait—you love jessica?” Taeyeon’s eyes focus on tiffany’s.

 

“I don’t know” tiffany admitted, but I minute later she remembered what she have done, again, “I DON’T KNOW TAEYEON, I THINK I DO, WHAT IF I REALLY DO LOVE HER? WHAT SHOULD I DO?! WHAT IF SOMEONE TRY TO STEAL JESSICA AWAY FROM ME?! WHAT IF SHE FALL IN LOVE TO ANOTHER GIRL?” A look of terror was written all over tiffany’s face, Jessica and another girl?  By just thinking of it, tiffany’s heart already ache “TAEYEON, I THINK I LOVE HER! I DON’T WANT HER TO FALL IN LOVE TO ANOTHER GIRL! TAEYEON, HELP ME! I THINK IF I EVER SAW HER FLIRT WITH OTHER GIRLS, I’LL END UP BEATING THAT GIRL! TAEYEON-AH, HELP ME!”

 

“TIFFANY YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO PUNCH ME—OUCH! GODDAMIT FANY IT HURTS!” Taeyeon groan in pain, tiffany punch so hard, she was about to rush to the other side of the stool so that she can escape from monster fany but when she stood up tiffany perfectly—in timing—grip her wrist and pull her down, “AFTER HELPING YOU TO REALIZE YOU FEELING TO JESSICA, THIS IS WHAT I’LL RECEIVE?!” Taeyeon growl, trying hard to shield her body from tiffany’s pinch, punch and kick?

 

“BUT TAEYEON-AH!” Tiffany said whilst continue abusing Taeyeon.

 

“OUCH!, I SWEAR I’LL NEVER TRY TO BE A CUPID AGAIN—OUCH!”  said Taeyeon before finally breaking down, tears already rolling from her cheeks “WHAT THE TIFFANY, STOP, YOU’RE GOING TO KILL ME—OUCH!”

“DADDY!” Yuki rush towards her daddy almost immediate, meanwhile Jessica knelt down wanting to level her gaze to yuki’s. “I miss you daddy!” Yuki softly and sincerely said as she wraps her tiny hands around her daddy’s neck.

 

 

“I missed you to yuki-ah” Jessica gently replied before breaking the hug, and let herself carry yuki’s thing, “So, how’s school?”

 

Wanting to show off, Yuki smile widely to jessica “YES! I even got five starts look” She then shows her arms, it’s true, her teacher gave her three big stars,

 

“That’s my girl!” Jessica wholeheartedly said as she pat yuki’s head, “Show that to your mommy, and I bet she’ll be very happy and proud of you!”

 

Yuki was about to reply when suddenly a very cute blonde haired girl appears “Yuki, I thought you’re already gone, thankfully you’re not” Said the cute girl her hands on her knees, she’s panting heavily,

 

I think she’s yuki’s classmate Jessica thought.

 

“Kim, You didn’t have to ran” Yuki scolded, she then walk towards kim and help her stand straight. “Don’t ran again okay, what if you tripped? I don’t want you to get hurt okay!” Yuki reprimanded.

 

“Okay, I promise I won’t ran again” Kim sweetly replied, Jessica can’t help to giggle seeing cute little kids acting so sweet to each other,

 

Kim is not only yuki’s classmate she must be her best friend too.

 

“Promise?” said yuki.

 

“I promise” kim smiled,

 

“Cross my heart?” Yuki asked, while kim frown?

 

“Cross my heart?” Kim asked, confused.

 

Yuki chuckles “Dad told me that Cross my heart means, I promise because I love you, so cross my heart?”

 

Jumping up and down, kim said “Yes, Cross my heart!”

 

“Good” Yuki then turn around to face jessica, “Daddy I want you to meet kim!”

 

I was about to reply when kim manage to talk first “Wait—she is your dad?” Kim asked then using her small index finger she points it to my direction.

 

“Yes, she’s my dad!” Yuki pompously admitted.

 

Kim’s face twitched “But, aunt tiffany is a girl!”

 

“So?” Yuki innocently asked.

 

“But the person you’re calling a dad is a girl!”

 

Crossing her arms yuki continue “I’m didn’t catching your drift, kim”

 

Jessica on the other hand amused by the two who were animatedly talking,

 

“All I wanted to say is, your father supposed to be a boy not a girl!” Kim said in obvious.

 

“But she’s MY dad!” Yuki suddenly whine,

 

Kim’s bit her lower lip when she realize that yuki were about to cry “Okay, okay! I believe you now!” Kim said while trying to wipe away yuki’s tears “Hey, stop crying okay, I’m sorry for not believing you”

 

“Hey, is everything okay here? Why is yuki crying?” Jessica kindly asked kim,

 

“Sorry, I made her cry” Kim apologized sincerely “it’s just I didn’t believe her when she said that you are her father, but don’t worry I do believe now!”

 

“Really?” Jessica skeptically asked.

 

“Yeah! I don’t mind if you’re a girl or a boy, you’re cool anyways!” Kim said before hugging yuki and consoles her again.

 

“Eh?” Jessica left dumbfounded.

 

After a minute, yuki was back to her cheery mode and that made Jessica smile, that was fast.

 

“By the way, daddy, I want you to meet kim! Kim meet my dad!”

 

Jessica politely extends her arm “Nice to meet you, Kim!”

 

Beaming kim response “Nice to meet you yuki’s father! My name is Park Kim, I’m yuki’s classmate, best friend and also girlfriend!”

 

Jessica was wearing her all out smile, but it immediately dropped hearing the last word, she’s kidding right?  “W-what did you just said?”

 

“I’m her girlfriend” Kim calmly replied.

 

Trying to calm down, jessica rub her temples “You can’t be! you guys are too young to be lovers!” she said trying her best to sound as polite as she can.

 

“But—“

 

“And you are both girls!”

 

Hearing the excuse kim pout at jessica “But you and aunt tiffany are lovers and both girls so why can’t we?!”

 

But tiffany and I—are not lovers. But I’ll be very happy if we became one—what am I think, geez, this ain’t about me and tiffany, it’s about them—oh my god, they’re too young to be girlfriends, what’s happening to the world!

 

“But still! You guys are too young to be lovers!” Jessica pushed.

 

“Then, what about if we turn 18 is she allowed to be with me with that age?” Kim sweetly smiles.

 

“Eh—err—I guess” Jessica said while scratching the back of her head,

 

“Then, I’m willing to wait until the right time comes!” Kim confidently said, “What about you yuki, what can you say?”

 

Yuki stare at kim then to jessica “I’m hungry!” She moans loudly,

 

“Eh?!” Kim said in awestruck,

 

Aww.. .Young love . Jessica thought with a smile plaster on her lips.

Tiffany kept on mumbling some inappropriate words, after accidentally overheard the conversation of Jessica and the girl that Jessica addressed as love, “Seriously? Love? That’s so corny!” she mumbled while clenching her fist.

 

She, yuki and jessica were inside the restaurant, she was all giddy because she thought it’s her  alone time—well not really alone time since yuki is with them—with jessica but she guessed she was wrong because there’s a third wheel on their relationship. What the heck am I thinking; jessica and I were not even in a relationship…yet, YES. YET!.

 

“So what happened to your meeting?” Tiffany was finally out from her trance after hearing Jessica’s angelic voice, Oh my god, her voice sounds so soft! Tiffany mentally spazz,

 

“Nothing exciting happened, we just discussed some future project and—“ If not because of tiffany’s self-control jessica’s phone were probably broken by now,

 

“Excuse me, I’ll just have to take this” Jessica gave tiffany a sorry look before picking her phone up, “Hello, Love?”

 

Love? Who the heck is that, love? Is she jessica’s girlfriend? Am I late already? Oh my god my heart hurts! Whoever that girl is, I despise her!

 

 

“Yup, Love, yeah, really?”

 

Every words that Jessica spoke were like sharp blade on tiffany’s heart, Tiffany failed to notice that she’s gripping the fork tightly.

 

“M-mom, y-you looked like you’re ready to kill someone” Yuki stiffly joked before proceeding to eat her ice cream, “WOW, this strawberry flavor is so sweet!” she cheered, her attention were now focus on the ice cream.

 

“Okay, bye love! Yeah, Ya, I love you too” Jessica said before ending the call,

 

I love you?! God, I’m in so much hurt! Tiffany can feel the water on her eyes, geez, I’m so not going to cry in front of jessica She said restraining the tears that is threatening to fall,

 

“Sorry, about my cousin, it’s just she’s planning to—“

 

WAIT—

 

“Wait—Did you just said cousin?” Tiffany’s eyes were focus on jessica, anticipating for her answer.

 

“Yup, cousin” Jessica said coolly,

 

COUSIN! Tiffany you’re jealous over her cousin! What the is wrong with you! Tiffany mentally pounds her head on the wall, So, that means she’s still single! Right? Right?!

 

Biting her lips “So it’s your cousin?” She asked, making sure that she’s not looking into jessica’s eyes,

 

“Yes, why?”

 

“Then, why are you calling her l-love?” Tiffany asked, she’s starting fidget,

 

Letting a small laugh “Oh, that. We agreed that we should have pet names for each other and we decided that love it is” She explained.

 

Oh, that’s why? How about you and me call each other baby? Oh my god what am I thinking! Because of her thoughts tiffany’s cheeks burns,

 

Tiffany was about to excuse herself to go to the washroom to hide her blush from jessica when suddenly a hand sneaked on her own, Jessica is holding her hands…

 

“Are you okay tiffany?” Jessica soothing voice can be heard, she even squeezed tiffany’s hands. “Tiff?”

 

JESSICA IS HOLDING MY HANDS! I AM SO GOING TO DIE ANYTIME SOON IF YOU WON’T LET GO! Tiffany is mentally freaking out she’s not sure how long can she control herself not to wrap her hands around Jessica, kiss her pink lips and tell her: you’re mine.
